It varies on something of a normal distribution. You might not even see the beginning of growth until 4 or 6 months.

The write up is good but I especially appreciate the high quality photos you take.
The rushed planning and preparation of Eugenix you speak of seems to be a common issue. But the design and execution looks appropriate and naturalistic.

A good poof of hair in that frontal section is sometimes all you need. You said this is FUT. Any pictures of the scar?

What's LPP? And how were the results poor?
Lichen Planopilaris. A scalp condition that causes poor results.

I saw a great repair case in person when I saw Zarev last month. Brillant hairline repair.
He also had some amazing cases on 60 year old NW7's with bad donor.
The only thing is you may need to accept a thin donor rather than fit farming into the donor
Good luck with your consult. when is it?
If anyone can repair you it is Zarev. In most cases he doesnt like using body hair but i think in your case he can find a solution.
Has anyone seen long term Zarev outcomes? One would wonder how many hairs thin out when doing such maximal extractions.

It is real but it’s not necessarily the full explanation for your particular situation. It would help if you share photos.

I think doing proper research on forums like this is the best way to minimise the chance of regret. As for those who go to cheap shady hair mills? God help them. That is Russian roulette with every graft.
-
People are choosing FUT for the gold standard microscopic dissection under ideal lighting and surgical control which avoids the 3 deleterious forces of torsion traction and compression (and skeletonization) that are involved in the blind FUE procedure, and to avoid the 1:1 thinning of the donor associated with removing grafts one by one

It’s completely normal to have some asymmetry in the temples. The work looks good and conservative.

Good expectations and promising early growth

We need a compilation of hair transplants with a decade or two elapsed since the surgery.

Hmm, how would that address the issue (Dr. F not doing temples).
I'm just suggesting more options if you don't want to go to Dr F.
If you are intent on him, you might as well insist he does the temples in one surgery. Ask nicely if he will do it. Tell him you really want a few hundred grafts there. Perhaps he will change his mind.

You could ask Dr Bloxham about mFUE
-
I’m surprised more surgeons haven’t openly adopted the mFUE technique. It seems to confer so many advantages. Perhaps they lack the skill?
-
What about Couto, Lorenzo, or the Belgian or well regarded Turkish surgeons?
It's amazing how a pool of candidates can be so small in an industry like this.

Who are your top considerations now ?

His YouTube has larger cases

Temple points only take a few hundred grafts. Really weird he would not want to do them for this reason…

Many clinics still say 2000 grafts is a mega session

Superb, I remember a topic not long ago where this was suggested

You look like a strong candidate to me.

@Gatsby Do you want to change your vote now 😁
Reading this thread for the first time I got to Gatsby's comment and thought about asking the same thing as you Melvin. It's thanks to communities like this that botched patients can get a new lease on life.
I actually have two theories on the results of this poll.
1. People who frequent forums and actually learn their stuff will tend to get better results than the majority who just do 5 minutes of "research" (scrolling Instagram) and book the cheapest deal they can
2. However, if your result is bad or botched, you're more likely to join a forum for support afterwards, skewing the poll result.
Anyway that's my 2 cents.

14709 wires should be enough to give you a dense result over this area because of the remaining native wires. Good luck.
