Did you spit your tea out? I unfortunately was a victim of one these American chopshops where they sell the FUT as still being the gold standard. Strangely enough I'm pretty sure my doctor had connections to some other doctors at Natural Transplants. Like they trained together at a predecessor company that was later purchased by Bosley (another notorious provider).
And my first doctor had me drive home after the procedure too.
Yeah, so I learned my lesson. Always get multiple opinions and unless multiple profiled doctors recommend FUT for your situation, then run. Virtually all procedures should be FUE.
Just to be fair, this isn’t FUT. This is 1980s style predecessor to FUT, the mini-micro graft strip surgery

did dr Bisanga comment on it?

What is minigraft surgery?
I am well aware of Natural Transplants in Fort Lauderdale and always wondered why they always have such piss poor results. It means they’re too lazy to dissect the grafts into follicular units, instead leaving many of them extra chunky. They use grafts with 5 to 12 hairs in them and say it gives you extra density.

I don’t actually see the issue. You’re on meds. You’re a good age. Your donor looks fine. You have a lot more hair than a Norwood 7. As long as your expectations are reasonable I can’t see any reason you’d not be a candidate.

If they lie to you about how many grafts you got - you got scammed. Period.

Ah yes an “influencer” with one of the famous “natural transplants”
When will they learn…

You're welcome. I should also note that I'm 31, so it was very important for me to go with an FUT Procedure.
Can you explain your thought process here

Nice. What would you say are the typical hair characteristics of gingers?

I honestly have to agree with you. It looks natural in terms of density, angles, singles etc. But the overall macro shape is really weird. It actually reminds me of that one guy posted recently with the ultra low hairline. It's low and straight and the temple points are wide set, which just looks unusual.

Serious answer is your grafts should be completely fine.

I think in most countries only a doctor is allowed to cut the skin on the patient. So they will do the scoring for the extractions and the incisions for the recipient sites. Techs can dissect grafts and sliver strips however.

@NegativeNorwoodyou can see the general shape and outline just find but he has a very prominent cowlick which makes his hair naturally go off in ten directions near the middle of his hairline. It adds character, honestly. I’m not even criticising. Most of us here would kill for his hair. But I am noticing that his hair grows basically horizontally at some points.

Was the hair taken from the pubic area?
How much would a surgeon charge for 1000 pubic grafts? Will you be able to live with yourself if people find out you have pubic hair on your head?

I’d further recommend waiting until you’ve walked back to your hotel room.

I have to admit, after looking through photos and videos of Tommy Fury, he does have a pretty damn symmetrical hairline. It's also freakishly flat and straight, but that's a seperate point.
I found it weirdly hard to find a side profile of the guy or a good photo of his right side. I did find this one of his left however and you can see how the hair flows forward and down across the temple point. This is the sort of thing I'd be surprised to find at both sides. I would bet the right side is angled more sort of back and down.
But finding a right side pic of him is unusually hard.

Yes, but his hair is dense and thick af, looks like the most perfect wig ever made. Above I posted a pic buzzcuted that shows his hairline.
Actually if you look closely you can’t quite make out Tysons hairline in any of these photos, seemingly because he has a little cowlick that makes a bit near the middle always want to veer to the side.
Its just dawned on me how strange it is to analyse hairlines in this detail. Amusing.

You can't actually see his hairline in these photos. Only a small part of it.

I agree with you completely, Melvin. I've studied facial aesthetics for the last two years, and the common denominator those people have is low body fat, strong jaw development, good eye spacing + how wide the cheekbones are and how long the midface is.
For example, model Tyson Ballou has another hairline I really like, and it is asymmetric, with super strong temples, and actually high-ish set (forehead longer than midface). He get's away with it because his cheekbones are very narrow and his face is on the long side:
Notice how the temples go past the eyebrows, yet looks fine from the front. Something very similar happens with Brad Pitt, albeit to a lesser degree.
Andrey Gray has wider cheekbones and less prominent temples, so the lower set hairline suits him perfectly in comparison.
Jake Gylenhaal has an impressive hairline and ridiculous hair characteristics too, another genetic lottery winner for sure.
But yes, the average guy with a round-ish face needs to do some extra effort (be it in the form or weight loss, or even cosmetic surgery if needed) to rock a hairline like that as well as those guys. It's very sad but true.
This guy has ultra aggressive temple points like Brad Pitt
On the subject of symmetry, I don’t think I can name a single person with a symmetric hairline. I think the core reason is that hair originates with the crown which has a whirl pattern and the rest of the hair on the head, even the hairline and temples, are just an extension of the whirl, which is usually clockwise.

You’re better with someone who tends to do conservative hairlines with more natural results, than someone who does aggressive hairlines but whose results don’t look natural.
Hairline design is negotiable. Naturalness depends on skill.

Amazing hair transplant surgeon...and photographer, the after pictures taken with the Iphone are much better and way more useful than many others taken with DSLR cameras at odd angles, distances and with very low light levels. It clearly shows that everyone can present their work clearly and honestly, without excuses, but don't do it because they don't want to.
Patient must be thrilled with the result, it's incredibly natural, as usual from you.
You can’t be too harsh. It’s not fair to expect high quality photos from every clinic. Some surgeons are simply too poor to afford a smartphone

This is so good I can’t even tell where the transplant ends and the native temporal hairline begins. Great photo quality too. Clearly a surgeon that takes pride in his craft.

It looks alright. You still have at least a few months to thicken up.
Do you have a high quality close up pic of the hairline? That way we can assess naturalism
