Update on folliculitis:

Just shaved bald and blegh it looks rough. The folliculitis has definitely died down but the aftermath is brutal. I am really hoping that it doesn’t lead to permanent scarring. Any thoughts/advice on how to lessen its impact?

It seems to be subsiding pretty drastically after 2 weeks of antibiotics haha. Hopefully it keeps trending that way.

You should research peer reviewed studies and talk to your doctor. I take 1mg 3 days a week

2 month update:

The good news is that my donor looks great. The bad news is that Ive been battling wicked folliculitis in the reception zone primarily along the hairline where it was packed more densely. Ive been on a topical and systemic antibiotic for the last 9 days which has helped but clearly come far from resolving it. I never got much acne during puberty so I guess this is my right of passage? 

Doctor B has been super responsive and proactive in helping me resolve this. He was actually out on vacation when I first called his nurse and he called me back with a treatment plan immediately. The antibiotics have helped but it's still pretty gnarly as y'all can see. My hat game has been strong in month 2 and will likely continue through month 3 😅!

Amazing results with so few grafts. I may have to travel for my second procedure.

Very nice. I got the same amount of grafts but your recipient area is about 1/4 the size. This should be a great result.
