Ya I'm kinda in the mind set right now that I want to get home early after my surgery, but I don't know how many nights to stay. I don't plan on traveling outside or anything so I'm going to be holed up in the hotel anyway. I'm looking at maybe spending 2 - 3 nights? Then flying off. I live in North America so it will be a long flight. Did you have to spray saline on the grafts every hour while you were on the plane?

I had an upcoming hair transplant at Eugenix, with deposit and flight tickets already booked. As some of you may or may not know, India has recently banned all visas to Canadian citizens. So I've got everything booked but no visa. I have been in contact with Eugenix but they haven't given me a straight answer about this situation. Wanted to know if any has any advice about this situation? Is anyone else from Canada and in a similar boat? What's worst, in addition to the money I have spent on flights, is that I have used up all my vacation time for this planned trip, so if this all falls apart, I won't be able to rebook another HT for another year!

any updates? -
As the title states, I will be traveling to Eugenix for a HT. Since I'm only there for a couple days, I was hoping to fly with a carry on. But as you all know, there's a 100 ml liquid per bottle limit for carry on luggage. So my question to those have been to Eugenix, do the medications/supplies that they provide, can they all fit in and be processed in a carry on? Is there anything over 100 ml?

Which doctor to choose from at Eugenix?
sekiro109 replied to sekiro109's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
They listed him as one of the package options. It is quite pricey, but what I want to know is, does that higher price translate into noticeable work? Or would the HT be similar between the 2 doctors. -
I'm planning on going with Eugenix for a HT given my advanced hair loss, and I know that they come recommended for advanced NW and body hair transplant, which I would need for coverage. I'm having a hard time deciding whether to go with Dr. Das or Dr. Sethi. I know Dr. Sethi is basically the poster doctor for the company, but is there a noticeable difference in HT outcomes from Dr. Sethi vs Dr. Das? Or is it all name/popularity?

what are your thoughts on your donor area? Do you plan on keeping it that short? You can clearly tell where the chunk of the donor area was taken and it doesn't blend in with the rest of the hair. -

maybe I missed it but how many grafts did you actually get? I know you mentioned how much they estimated but what did it end up being? -

People need to focus on the valid HT criticism that @DeltaV has expressed and not derail his thread on some offhand comment he made while venting. I almost feel like some people here are the spokesman for Eugenix and will defend them to the death. Now moving onto OP's HT results. He has had excellent results at 4 months, and things will only improve from here on out. However, I find his criticisms of Eugenix valid. Mainly (1) leaving the mid scalp line completely bald until pointed out by the patient himself and (2) the lack of lateral humps. Now, if this HT was done at an average HT clinic, I would say his results are overall good. However, this was supposedly done at one of the leading HT clinics in the world, and done so by Dr. Sethi himself. I can understand his frustration, especially considering that he has likely paid an enormous amount to have this done. One would expect much more. -
Very poor results at close to 12 months. I see even in the hairline where they concentrated more grafts, there is very poor growth.

Looks good! What are your thoughts on your donor area? Do you plan on getting SMP to cover the patchiness/scars?

Had some myself, although not as bad as yourself. What helped me is daily shampoo with ketocanazole 2% and cleared most of it by 2 weeks. I just applied it to the donor area.
