  1. As a patient of Dr. Epstein's, I can assure you that your post is way off base. Every person I dealt with in his office was incredibly nice and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Epstein personally meets with all prospective patients. He sat with me for 45 minutes on my first visit to his office, never rushed me, answered all of my questions and never pushed me to get my HT from him. His work and his professionalism sold me. The guy's work and professionalism are beyond reproach. You two probably came off as a couple of prank calling geeks. It's pathetic that you would go on a message board and smear a great Dr. like Epstein based on some goofy tag team call to a receptionist.
  2. Guys, it's more tender than painful. And it isn't by any stretch unbearable. On a 0 to 10 scale it would be a 3 when being rubbed hard (i.e., shampooing). When not being touched, it's a 0.2. It's not a sharp pain but kind of a diffuse local soreness. Maybe I have a really tight scalp? I don't have any wrinkles on my forehead or anything like that, so I think my skin is pretty tight. Maybe the tightness of the scalp is causing the tenderness.
  3. Do these scalp exercises and the scalp "stretching" lead to wrinkles in the face from the looser skin? Serious question. It would be nice to have more scalp looseness, but I wouldn't want it at the expense of my tight, wrinkle-free face.
  4. Tom Arnold's HT is one of the best I've ever seen. He's likely had a few procedures. I'd love to know who did his work. He's got unreal density and can wear his hair in different styles with no see through look.
  5. Where is it exactly? I can't find it.
  6. I had my HT surgery slightly over 3 months ago with Dr. Epstein. Most of the numbness and pain from the donor area is gone. But there is still some tenderness/pain on the left side when I apply vigorous pressure to that area such as when shampooing. It doesn't hurt unless I rub it. There is no tenderness/pain in the back or on the right side. It's just on the left side. While he was removing my strip, Dr. Epstein repaired some of the scarring from my first procedure with Dr. Leavitt. And I think that was one of the areas where the scarring was. Has anyone else had some prolonged tenderness toward the side of the head in the donor area and does it eventually go away? Thanks.

  8. Fellas, let me pipe in here and ask a question too. I had my HT surgery about 3 months ago with Dr. Epstein. Most of the numbness from the donor area is gone. 9. I had my procedure done with Dr. Jeffrey Epstein in Miami about 3 months ago. I had approximately 2400 grafts done. I haven't noticed much of a difference yet, and I am a bit concerned. Maybe I just don't notice because I see myself every day, but I don't really see much of, if any, difference. I would think that 2400 grafts mainly done on the front 1/3 of the head will make a pretty signifcant impact. I had a decent hairline already before the transplants.
