Hi everyone. Just a quick update. It's been a tricky month for me since my procedure. I'm still having major doubts about my hairline position and shape. I'm thinking it is more the shape than the height, but it's a bit of both.

I think it is too straight and when on the side profile it looks like it joins my temples too low, particularly on one side. There is no recession built into the hairline to join my receded temples. I think its called the frontal temporal transition. Picture 2 below.

    Thoughts welcome.

Still have quite a lot of redness too in certain lighting

On a positive note. This looks longer and denser than the average 1 month results imo!

    Thanks for the suggestion.

If I am measuring from the correct point it is around 8cm, maybe a touch under.

This is roughly similar to my tip of nose to chin, which I think is the rule of thirds?

8 is fine. Actually I think its the perfect distance for you. The only thing I would change in a perfect world would be how it hits your own hair in the sides. rather than straight I would have kept the rounding going so it looked a bit more natural. Just like you also say. However, it is not a big thing and I would not even get it corrected if it was me although it would probably not be hard to correct with just taking a few out in the sides and putting to strengthen the mid hairline or elsewhere. So all in all I think the hairline is fine.

  3. This is what ChatGPT says:

The idea that increased muscle tone or chronic contraction of the facial and masticatory muscles can lead to hair loss is considered pseudoscience. There is no scientific evidence to support this claim, and it is not a recognized cause of hair loss by the medical community. Hair loss can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, hormonal changes, medical conditions, and certain medications. Therefore, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause of hair loss and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

I think I see what you are talking about it being too straight where it joins your temple points, but honestly, it will be meaningless when you have any sort of hair length there.

Worst case, if it still bothers you, you can get it rounded on your next visit (see image below). It would probably be very few grafts.

But honestly, this is no big deal at all.

Have your newly transplanted FUEs been shedding yet?

I would think he is troubled over the opposite - that there is no maturing built in and it hits the sides too low. If I understood him correctly, then making them rounded (which top clinics usually don't do) would make it worse.

If that is what he means, then I can see what he means and I would have connected it a bit higher on the sides too, but I don't think it's a big deal. It looks like it will be a good result.

Hey @Xanadu, yes I have trimmed it multiple times

Concerning the sides, I have probably done it 7 to 10 times to get a better look during the ugly ducking phase. Also 10 days after surgery after scabs came out, I asked eugenix if they were able to trim the sides that early and they have done my trimming right away. So I guess no huge deal at any points after scabs came out in that area.

Concerning top, I have started trimming it 6 weeks after surgery (also I asked confirmation to the clinic before doing it), since then I think I trimmed it twice including once with my barber 1 month ago. From that point I haven't done anything to my hair.

Good luck. I am 60 days in and looks not too different from yours at 60 days.

    Hi everyone,

@Joseph James, yes I am still taking finasteride, its been 5 months now.

Also still taking the dietary program that I got from Eugenix.

Just to show you how everything is going, right now I am at 105 days (3 months 1/2)

It seems hairs are starting to show up, So far, I am thrilled with the results. I hope in the coming months everything is gonna be more dense and less sparse on top. But even as of now, without knowing what the results could be at the end of the whole process, I am really happy. Could definitely only go with the buzzcut, so from now, I guess everything extra will be a bonus for me haha

Did you cut (or buzz?) your hair yet? If so, at what time did you do it?

50% of my grafts are triples and quadruples

will that have an extra positive effect in case of density?

I agree with Gatsby. Looking at your before you would normally need at least close to 5000 for a fairly good result. I'm not saying that is what they should have done because the idea is probably that you still had some miniaturised areas that could improve with fin so 3000 was good. I think this is a great result with 3000 grafts. and yes to your question.

I had both Dr Bansal and Dr Sethi for my hair design and I can tell you that both are very different. You can see in my post hairline drawn by Dr Bansal and Dr Sethi...day and night difference.

With regards to Eugenix, tell them exactly which doctor you want to do what bit of procedure and they will quote you a price for it. Dr Sethi is available I am sure but there is a price to it.

Where can we find those hairlines drawn by the two?
