I have heard that grafts are not coming out after a few weeks. 

But what would actually happen if someone took both fists and pulled most of someone's hair out of the recipient area? Let's say this happens after 1 year? 

How many of the grafts would survive? All? half?

Bit of an update, I'm still having some doubts about my hair line and the shape of it. Appreciate all the comments I've had so far but to me it does look an odd shape for my face. It's not low in that it is 7.5cm from glabella but I do have a large head and it comes down quite a long way from the top of my head and is quite flat. I also don't like how it slopes downwards from the mid Central point to my temples when looking profile side on and it doesn't really match my temples that are quite receded. 

So overall, yes not too happy so far. I've been shaving the corners to give it a little bit of recession but in the long run I think having a few grafts removed could be the way to go. 

Hindsight I should have been more assertive with what I wanted, but I went with the Dr's design based on facial measurements and their experience 

Like I said before, I can see what you mean, but I'm quite sure it will look perfectly fine.

I am not using fibers, but am curious. How often is regularly? daily? or could it be every second day? Or after a few hours?

As I said I know several on here who have experienced higher libido/sexual function for years after starting fin.

I'm sorry if you had issues, but let's not start rumours that scare people. We all know that it is a topic that already has and can scare people. We know the scientific litterature does not support that "afterwards you will have trouble maintaining erection" so I think it is very irresponsible to sprout such things. 

As I said I am sorry if you are having or had these issues, but let's stick to either science, or the personal examples we have.

Here might be yet another reason. I asked ChatGPT if DHT has any negative effects after puberty. It mentioned all the known ones, but here is one that I didn't know about. It's just ChatGPT4.0 so better do some research before relying complete on everything it says:

It's individual. For most people, there are no negative effects, and I know of several in here that have higher libido after taking fin. And if not higher libido, then at least better sexual functioning. The reason is that your testosterone will actually increase as a result of taking fin. DHT is really involved in puberty and after puberty it's effects on the body seems to be secondary - for most people, and mostly causing enlarged prostate, decreased functionality of the prosate resulting in decreased semen fluid, hair fall and other negative effects. But as we know it is a hormone and for some people their body has created some links to mood etc. So if you have no side effects, I don't see why you should worry at all.

Sure. FUT has it's place, and definitely can get grafts more economically in some situations.

My point is that I did not make the thread because the grafts were taken by FUT. That was completely irrelevant to why I made the thread. The reason I think it was a great result is because of the hairline artistry, density etc. 

Whether those grafts came from FUT or FUE is just a different discussion.

I remember having an operation elsewhere like 15 years ago, and I was supposed to bathe it is saline solution for about 20 minutes several times per day. I guess the key reason was to keep it clean and avoid infection.

Yeah, I would not even consider FUT and I don't say this is a great result because of the FUT.

The amount of grafts they took from the donor (regardless of FUT or FUE) they used really really well on the recipient. There is no reason why they could not have done exactly the same with FUE extraction at the back. 

In other words, what I think is great is their work on the recipient area. They really made this a great result. 

Wow. I'm not sure that looks like 5000. If it is then they really packed them close in the front. Because you had diffuse thinning it wasn't an easy job I guess.

Yes, do that. He is right that hairs rarely stray 2 cm from the main hairline, but my point is that the original hairline doesn't have to have been where that stray hair is - it could have been higher, because that may just be a stray hair. Sometimes stray hairs can be a half or a cm lower than the main hairline. 

But that hair may not have been a stray, it may have been in the hairline, or even behind the hairline. So there really is no way of knowing whether the original hair line was higher or lower than that hair. Most likely somewhere between that hair and a bit higher. But if you find some pics you can probably tell. 

Also, if you look at where your forehead muscles stop, it's probably in that range.

Not necessarily. The hairline is not a straight line and there are always some hairs that grow outside the straight line. 

Even doctors try to add hair lower than the actual hairline in order to simulate a natural hairline.

Just saw this video of a former NW5/6 patient, and the result looks dense and very natural. Great job.

It looks to be improving. Are you happy with the front and the hairline?

The good news is that with a bit of artistry and 500 grafts a good doctor can make that hairline look very good.
