  1. if there is small hair, finasteride might be able to get it back. but it wont magically grow hair on an area that has no hair, its more so used to stabilize hair loss and stop it from furthering.
  2. looks more like a matured hairline. still very nice especially considering your age. HT is possible without meds but hairloss is progressive so theres always a chance of it going further back. An example is an f1 racer called sebastian vettel, he went from nw2 to nw5 in like 2-3 years.
  3. youve been an nw1 for your whole life. with medication I don't see you balding further. also thats completely normal, in my hair the right temple has completely gone but i have my temple on the left side.
  4. you've got great hair for your age, Eugenix, Dr Mwamba, Bisanga are all clinics I would recommend. whats your location and budget. and will you be willing to travel outside the country and if so how far.
  5. I'm someone who's usually pretty optimistic but honestly this looks really bad. your pretty much destined for nw7, and it looks like the donor is thinning as well. I understand how hard it must be especially at such a young age but have you tried going bald. also the fact that finasteride is not stopping or at least slowing down the loss is not good. there are clinics that can probably get your hair back to a state in which there is decent coverage however you have to ask yourself is it worth the thousands and the fact is you will probably need multiple surgeries as you continue to lose hair. In my opinion going bald is the best thing to do in this case. your case couldve been acceptable if you were a lot older but at 21 its a very different story. have you visited a dermatologist and got everything checked out?
  6. for me personally the top surgeons/clinics that I would go to are Dr bisanga, Dr mwamba, Eugenix, Dr juan couto. also start taking medication to stabilise your hairloss.
  7. I wouldn't suggest lowering the hairline but putting thin single grafts at the front to 'soften' the hairline. you shouldn't need more than 300-400 grafts in my opinion.
  8. there's a reason why there's many people here adamant that you shouldn't get a straight hairline. it looks unnatural and not aesthetically pleasing.
  9. underestimating the amount of grafts and not aesthetically pleasing. the worst hair transplants are the ones where everyone can tell you've had something done because it looks unnatural. also you gotta think of it like this, 10 years from now do you think a completely straight and squared hairline will look natural on a 34 year old?
  10. this looks extremely unnatural and you can lose hair further back from the transplanted area. get something a bit more conservative with around 1500 grafts where you will fill in the sides but still keep that natural hairline shape. the reason people don't do square hairlines is because it does not look natural. hair transplants are a cosmetic procedure in which they are trying to give you natural results as well as improving how the hair looked from before. Search up machine gun kelly hair transplant. hes got good results in which his hair looks a lot better but does not have a square hairline. most people wouldnt even know he got something done if they didnt see him before the transplants.
  11. your donor looks good, I think you should first get on medication for at least a year and see how that helps after that get the transplant done.
  12. what clinic did you first go to that destroyed your donor? if its well known then im sure there are others that would want to go there as well without knowing what they had done to you.
  13. completely agree. I get that op is trying to strive for perfection but hes got to realise hes still an nw1.5 at worst. hes got a lot of great hair that doesn't need to be changed. hes got a really nice matured hairline that hasnt gone further back.
  14. going to go against with most people here and say I would not encourage a transplant. you have a really nice hairline which is not too high and with finasteride your hairloss will stabilize and not go back.
