  1. Hi all attaching some photos for 2 years update. I am pretty happy. I am now thinking of a touch up session to add just a little bit more.
  2. Hi lovely people 11 months and 10days update. Took pictures in different lights so some look better than others. left side of crown is still comparatively thin, as it has been from the start. I am not too sure if the progress/improvement from 10 months is very visible in the photos but I definitely feel that it is still improving, maybe texture, thickness, more growth, I can’t really tell what it is. appreciate any input. cheers
  3. Yeah… I made sure it’s not flying on other passengers 😀. I had to do what’s best for me… and I have never seen them again so all good 😌 I told the person sitting next to me that I will be doing this and if he’s ok, he was fine.
  4. I flew back from Eugenix to Australia on the 2nd day after the procedure. I felt comfortable sitting at the window seat so no one accidentally bumps or drops anything on my head. Eugenix also gives you a travel spray bottle, I just kept spraying every 2 hours, didn’t have to get off my seat unless really needed to use toilet. But I totally agree with the advise that more days you can allow is better. all the best!
  5. I meant everything I said in a positive and constructive way, I hope you saw it that way too. Yes we are insecure about hair (I am) but I meant in your case you have no reason to be, imo. forum is great, great people and wonderful advice. Just saying from my own perspective, with hair like yours I would have been pretty happy, but I guess everyone has their own definition of perfection. I wish you well with whatever you decide!
  6. I wouldn’t say it’s greed but seems like insecurity. you have PERFECT head of hair to not even think about HT (haha you shouldn’t even be on this forum… ). I would just say, live life and don’t worry about it.
  7. Looking good! I feel, the 3 months period between 6-9 months was a big growth/thickening period for me (I am at 9months and one week now). considering your HT was temples and hairline only, your results will be great by 9 months mark.
  8. I see what you mean but I am genuinely surprised how things have turned out positive. I can’t speak for others but in my case, Coming from 2 previous bad experiences, I always had doubts about my 3rd procedure as well (this one @ Eugenix)… which I think is normal. Then bit of miscommunication and mixed communication from Eugenix as well, just flared-up the doubts. So from that perspective, I wouldn’t call it overreaction because my first point of action was to contact Eugenix but that’s where mixup happened. Then I brought it up here on the forum. This 3rd procedure has changed my perspective. To me, going to the best clinic and putting your trust in them and then being patient. My advise to all looking for a HT is don’t rush into it and don’t expect rushed results. hand on heart, thanks to Eugenix. I know I have paid them for the procedure but I am very thankful to them. Results so far have changed my life.
  9. Sorry to hear about the pain you’re going through. looks like it was a big procedure? Was it done over couple of days? hope your pain goes away in coming days. I have not heard of such case of pain 2 weeks post op.
  10. Hi HRN community today is 2 days short of my 9 months post op. I wanted to share update. Took few pics in wet hair, dry hair and also exposed weaker left mid/crown area. hair length hair n these pics are number 4 guard back/side, and about 3inch top. Let me know what you think. I am hoping that the weaker side will continue to fill up in coming months. I know that hairline on the left took longer than right to get thicker. Hoping same sort of outcome for the top/crown. Wet hair pics
  11. And don’t style your hair too nicely, grow some beard (if you already had beard then shave it maybe) for first couple of weeks. Maybe that will help in not drawing too much attention to your hair or divert their attention.
  12. I probably echo what majority has said… it’s up to you Just act normal like nothing changed. people who might ask would be the ones losing hair (imo) and if they genuinely interested and you want to help them, tell them. be confident about your decisions and choices. If you believe you did the right thing then they will too (if they don’t, don’t give a F***) all the best
  13. There was a topic on this platform couple of months ago ‘does Dut nuke hairline’ , I think that was the topic. Might be helpful. I don’t take Dut but NARMAK can give you some advise on that. I know micro needling does wonders for hairline, might want to try that one a week. 👍🏼
  14. Personally I wouldn’t be going for HT if my hair were like yours. They look great in pics. first step should be the steps to stabilise the recession. I would trace back my steps what has changed in last 6 months in terms of lifestyle, regularity of hairloss prevention protocols, etc then maybe add micro needling and dut once a week. see for 3 months how you respond. There’s a good chance that you thinning hair will thicken up. Good luck!
  15. Ask the HT surgeons to show you some pictures of what sorts of results can you expect. A good surgeon will be very upfront. This will enable you to make a well informed decision. You are on this forum, means hair are important to you (like all of us here) but you need to be realistic with your expectations as you donor does not appear to be strong. It’s hard pill to swallow but I am just being honest. If afterward you not happy with results and go down the shard head look anyway, remember you will have FUE scars. do not make rushed decision and do not give your partner false hopes either. It won’t be good for either of you.
  16. Coming through nicely. 6-7 months mark will be amazing for you since yours is only hairline/temples. you will be a very happy man
  17. I have had a FUT done 10 years ago (when I was 30 😊). Scar at the time was not visible even at short hair length but over time skin stretches and it becomes more visible. Also in my case as I get older I prefer to keep shorter hair and that makes me somewhat uncomfortable coz I am worried about scar being visible. If FUE at the time was as evolved as it is now, I would have gone for FUE. I can only suggest that if possible, don’t let the cost decide it for you. A right procedure done once, even if expensive, is going to be much better for you financially and mentally over time. I had my 3rd procedure done 7 months ago, @ Eugenix this time. We even covered my FUT scar. Having had 3 procedures now, I can tell you that this has been the best for me. good luck with whatever you decide!
