It is crazy a guy with Nadal's resources and importance to keep his appearance did not go to a top clinic. He could have easily skipped the waiting list by paying more $ at any of the top doctors.
or Jeff Bezos...not everyone wants to be on meds for life tho

Who is their doctor? Another tech-driven hair mill?
-
what clinic?

0.3% is pretty high for topical, I've read it can be similar to taking an 3mg oral tablet. If you get sides from topical then it defeats the whole purpose of taking it.
-
It can induce telogen effluvium, which is temporary.

Most scalps, if not all scalps, should be completely healed and barren of any scabs or crusts…still, using a motorized clippers can put stress on the hair in its early growth phase and why many doctors advise against it until the initial regrowth phase has completed.
Even with a guard?

How many grafts did they say they used? Which clinic?
-
Thanks, yes definitely doesn't look like 5,500 grafts, maybe 3,000 at most.

Please provide photos before the surgery.
What's the name of the clinic?

That is the question. Based on my empirical observations I haven't seen any increase in hair follicles but I haven't seen any decrease either. I am going to continue with my citizen research for another 12 months to see if my male pattern baldness has stabilised.
Another interesting phenomenon with taking DHT reducers, it may lead to a slight increase in testosterone levels. Based on my testosterone results being above the upper threshold, at 47 years of age, one may conclude that this may be correct.
Not in my case, my testosterone level is pretty low after using DHT reducers for over a year.

Very interesting. Does a lower serum DHT always lead to a lower scalp DHT?
-
I agree it's a definite improvement, and should look even better after a second HT.

Why did he submit to the bald look?
Because he continued losing ground after multiple HTs. He stopped using finasteride due to sides.

Possible that my transplant failed?
And possible you may get lots of growth over the next 7 months.
-
It’s possible but rare.
-
How old are you? When did you start losing hair?
-
Most docs say a year, some say 9 months.

I’m back on oral fin 0.5mg daily. I do have some sides but not as drastic weighing up my options on trialing dutasteride as despite being on this dosage since Sept I’m not seeing any real benefit just yet. Quite liking Melvins posts about Xyon however, it’s not available in UK otherwise I would’ve jumped on that.
That said, the good thing and i guess i got lucky with HIMS was that they offer a 90 day money back guarantee so i told them about my sides a month in and asked them to cancel my subscription. After the 90 days i put in a claim for the money to be refunded and was actually surprised that it was refunded with no questions asked. /I do the HIMS topical fin and Minox solution matey.
That’s awesome. I’m surprised about the 90-day guarantee since many people don’t see much benefits for 6+ months.

I hope it works better than aloe.

Welcome to healthcare in USA. I have to pay more on things even with insurance.

Saw palmetto is a weak alternative to finasteride. At best it may stabilize your loss.
