If nape is so risky, why do so many elite surgeons use them in the hairline?
-
That’s kinda interesting. I remember Ferreira made @Sitries1 temple points pretty similar to his nose.

I don’t understand, the first surgery result was due to lack of blood supply whereas the second surgery you had excess bleeding?
-
Never heard of any of them

An interesting topic, and good to read more on the importance of temporal peaks here 👏
Even though your donor capacity is key, a good hair surgeon will not ignore the temple area because it is an important part in recreating the hairline.
When it comes to the shape, there is no option A, B or C... recreating the temple points takes so much more than that.
Your personal preference needs to be discussed during a personal consultation with the doctor.
Dr. Feriduni will meticulously measure the dimensions of the patient's face and redesign the whole.
It is not about density when it comes to this area; the hairs are very fine (mostly single FU).
To achieve a natural result, Dr. Feriduni respects the natural blending when going deeper in the temple area.
Whether you prefer hard-shaped or more subtle, it is strongly advised to focus on the final appearance of your face.
Keep this in mind and how this naturally should keep matching with your face, also in the future.Where are these very fine single FU's taken from? Behind the ears? Nape? ?

That’s a really detailed explanation and dive into temples on that site, thanks.

I'm still a little shell shocked from this result.

I would say more like 2k depending how far you bring down those corners.

Yeah. Poor yield. Wayyy too many grafts in such a small area. I forget the details of why that’s not a good idea but I’ve read about it before. That being said I’ve seen more great results from Ferreira than disappointing ones.
It's the first poor result I have seen by him, but, concerning...

Pretty surprised at the sub-par result on this frontal third w/ Ferreira.

I like that he added temple points even though it’s a higher conservative hairline

Hmm well I have never really seen before one temple much different/receded than the other, can you show me an example?
Of course for the top, especially for diffuse thinners, there can be significant asymmetry in the hairline diffusion. But for the temples I haven't seen such cases.
My temples are totally different. Right is much more receded than left

Will she go over to like 2-3k for fut?
I’m unsure, maybe others can chime in. I don’t think I’ve seen a 2k+ result from her through

Nadimi typically maxes out at around 2k grafts, so, beware if you plan on going over that amount. Yes, she is pretty conservative.

I have stated before that Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Mwamba and I all worked together for the same clinic so I had the opportunity firsthand to get to know them and both of them worked on me on my third procedure…they placed the majority of my grafts and the procedure took approximately 7 hours.
My experience was that Dr. Mwamba was far more patient and attentive to detail and he placed more of my grafts overall…also, they are very close friends however I felt Dr. Bisanga talked socially too much during the procedure and left the room more often whereas Dr. Mwamba was extremely focused and meticulous making extra sure that every graft he placed was at the proper depth and angle.
Another thing that I sincerely appreciated about Dr. Mwamba was that every so often he held a hand mirror up so I could see how the graft placement was going, and at the end he was the one who took extra time to make sure every detail was performed to my satisfaction in spite of the fact we were fellow employees…he really takes pride in everything he does…he’s very humble.
So yes I was happy with their work however if I had to choose between them, no question my choice would be Dr. Mwamba hands down!
Interesting insight, thank you.

for temporal points imo best in EU are Couto, de Freitas, Bisanga (in that order)
Freitas and Bisanga temple points are pretty limited. There's a recent Freitas case posted on here w/ temples done, so, will be interesting to follow.
Couto def has a nice portfolio of temples.
A couple recent cases by Ferriera look nice, check out @Sitries1

Based on the line drawn that looks more like 2k-2500 grafts.
-
That looks to be way more needed than 2200 grafts. Easily 3k

Thank you! Do you think I have good doner?
Buddy, I think you need to pump the brakes, get on meds and really start to do more research.

Has this been confirmed? Haven’t heard of Bisanga in US either.

It might be slightly too low/aggressive, but, overall I don’t think it looks bad.
