To clarify “Asian region”…I travelled from Australia and would highly recommend it to anyone considering. - skilled surgeon - great and consistent results - surgeon performs the procedure - LLLT and PRP included - very well priced

Congratulations…density looks amazing. I regret not taking more photos of mine close up - shedding now so will have to wait. Donor area after 11 days looks exceptional also. Agree that this forum helps immensely and when considering which Dr to go with Dr Laorwong should be in the top few surgeons to choose within the Asian region. If you do choose this clinic I stayed at Avani+Riverside Hotel which is a 50 baht can ride away. Immaculate hotel, awesome rooms, breakfast included and a centre attached with 7 Eleven and many restaurants - highly recommend it.

Thought I would share some pics of my recent procedure with Dr Laorwong. As you can see I had a massively receded hairline which I had hidden for years with hats or an average comb over. Some stats; 43 years old Finasteride for over 15 years – with no side effects Loniten for over 15 years – an oral version of minoxidil, only side effect is total body hair growth 😊 I have a large head so surface area compared to others should be considered when comparing to others I chose the higher hair line due to my age, my starting point and due to always having a high hair line Shout out to Hristo13 for posting and providing me with the courage to go ahead and for answering my questions. Procedure went well, no pain, sleeping was easy – was a long day though and got increasingly uncomfortable in the chair…old man bones seizing up. Flew out back to Australia 2 days after the procedure and had no discomfort flying…and only 1 overzealous security guard making me take off the bandana – the shock on his face though said he wish he hadn’t. Overall a good experience and I would recommend it. I am 1 month post procedure and the shed has commenced so I will post again once I get some growth. Thank you to Melvin for your time and efforts to keep this forum running and to all who share – it truly makes a positive impact.

Aussie T there is also Loniten available in Australia which is an oral minoxidil - as always consult your doctor and be prepared if your are a hairy dude elsewhere because you will need to trim your firebreaks every fortnight 🤣

I recently booked with Dr Laorwong, he asked for atleast 2 weeks notice

Definitely need to get on finasteride - been on it for over 15 years now and no side effects: horny AF, no performance issues and 2 healthy kids. With your budget and condition it seems Turkey is the option but I suggest saving up some more and going with Dr Laorwong in Thailand - great results and well priced…not cheap but well priced at around 70B per graft. You don’t want to risk going for a cheaper procedure and ending up with a low density job that stands out.
