  1. If you look back at my posts you will see my original 6 month photos. I also took antibiotics because I got folliculitis. Have faith, you could be a late bloomer like I was. It’s almost like the second procedure spurred the second one on.
  2. Really good - I am ecstatic with the result so far. Still until end of June for it to be a full 12 months. Have had different hair dressers comment on how thick my hair is and even attempted to use thinning scissors. Absolutely stoked with the result.
  3. Dr Laorwong provided the shampoo but is basically an anti-bacterial wash. Also it was Dr that picked up the spots during my procedure and provided the treatments. Started the wash 2 weeks after procedure.
  4. @Jamos1982 well said brother 👏. This is one aspect that gets overlooked - not all procedures go according to plan as there are a lot of variables and each patient has their own challenges. So what must be considered is what the surgeon does if it doesn’t go according to plan. This is another reason why @Kongkiat should be at the top of the list for anyone considering a procedure within the region. Above his skill and his consistency is his ethics ✊. An absolute rarity in any form of business these days is genuine care for customers, standing by your work and ethics - he has it all. Just in case you are wondering if this is a sponsored post - it isn’t - I am speaking from experience…check out my posts for context.
  5. Be careful about Dutasteride. I was on Finasteride for close to 2 decades - overly healthy libido, fathered 2 healthy children….no side effects whatsoever. I switched to Dutasteride and felt like sh!t. Had depression, dark thoughts, no libido - it was like it had plummeted my testosterone. I stopped taking it mid script and felt better within days.
  6. I am based in Perth also. After my experience and most from this forum the only surgeon I can recommend is Dr Laorwong. Excellent results, very well priced, close to Australia, well credentialed. Above all a surgeon who genuinely cares about your results.
  7. TBH I didn’t take a lot of notice in it. I have some beard trimmers that I used to trim my hair around a 5 setting and you couldn’t see any sign of extraction. Probably one of my character traits is being way to relaxed about things and once again TBH throughout this 2 year process it hasn’t been a factor for me. Even now I can’t remember even thinking or wanting to ask about it. I have never buzzed or faded my hair low so for me wasn’t a concern in my mind.
  8. I too wonder because I stopped wearing hats at 4 months so maybe the first was positively impacted? Who knows? Even now at 6 and a bit months I still have new growth coming through the skin.
  9. Looking like another solid outcome by @Kongkiat. Congratulations on your results…they are certainly impressive so far 👏
  10. Recently had a hair cut and the lady said "at least you don't have to worry about going bald" I then told her my background and she was absolutely shocked - she couldn't tell at all. So shout out to @Kongkiat once again your skill, ethics, morals and dedication have had a huge impact on my quality of life - I honestly can't thank you enough. The freedom of not wearing a hat like a had for close to 20 years, being able to style your hair, getting compliments, having other men ask what you are doing to your hair cos it looks thick and a hair dresser not even noticing - shows the elite end result....I am chuffed beyond words.
  11. Hairline and front is growing in dense AF Temples are looking natural. Rear and side donor looks untouched.
  12. Wow 😮 what an outcome 👏 So happy for you brother, you must be feeling ecstatic. Also respect to you for sharing your story in such detail, I have no doubt your experience would have positively impacted many people 💯. As we all know on here the debilitating self doubt and impact on your confidence hair loss has so to know there is an option out there like @Kongkiat is reassuring and the outstanding results speak for themselves. Once again congratulations for having the courage to make the initial decision and to share✊.
  13. Completely agree - ridiculously good result. Shout out to you for having the courage to take action and also for sharing 👏. Also another jaw dropping outcome from @Kongkiat….get in quick, I feel Dr Laorwong will soon have a lenghty waitlist. Fingers crossed will be dropping some results like yours also in the coming months….just clocked up 3 months post 🤞
  14. Yes I have. I haven’t read the difference between but my own personal experience is the HiScrub is much more effective. I didn’t feel like the keto controlled it much but the HiScrub definitely does - if I feel 1 or 2 lumps they usually subside within 12-24 hrs with HiScrub. Also not sure this is a positive but if HiScrub gets anywhere near your eyes you look you have been on a road trip with Cheech and Chong….never got that level of chemical clean from keto. So HiScrub will be a permanent part of my regime going forward as I work in a hot, dusty environment and wear hard hats frequently.
  15. The variable we controlled this time was scalp infection. I was given 2 months of antibiotics and HiScrub antiseptic shampoo. First time my scalp was pink and tight for months…this time colour is normal and scalp doesn’t feel tight. Also this time not as many hairs shed and can see some grafts stayed in tact. So the contributing factor would be scalp infection. I will post updates as I come out of the ugly duckling phase as I am just crossing 2 months - donor has bounced right back and no sign of around 5000 grafts being harvested.
  16. Try email…also what was the verbal response at the clinic? Do you mean you were back with the Dr in Thailand and he plucked them?
  17. Wow…that looks dense. Expect a life altering result 🙏. I would email the clinic again for your photos, I found them and Dr very responsive. Also not sure why you are plucking hairs…71 days is still very early in your journey - judging by your post procedure pic and if you adhere to the post care instructions you will be very happy.
  18. Also of note is Dr Laorwong spent time learning his craft under Dr Path if my research serves me correctly so you can’t go wrong.
