  1. I checked your threads. The result of your first transplant with Rahal was really good whereas the second one was poor...

I think you can't go wrong with Freitas or Konior.

They are both amongst the top 10 in the world in my opinion. Both are excellent.

    Who's better ? Pfff man I really don't know... 50/50.

Freitas is probably slightly better for hairline artistry whereas Konior is better for providing more coverage with less grafts.

It really depends on your budget and how much your are willing to spend on your procedure. Konior is extremely expensive but if you can afford it then go for it.

I think Konior can close the bald spot on your crown much much better than Rahal. That's for sure.

Well, it's so hard for me to see the reality these days.

My result is looking different in every mirror and light condition, going from a full head of hair to a guy with some strand of hair on the bold head.

This is driving me f*ckin crazy!

Ordered a new Iphone to make some vids in daylight and see what the result currently looks like, or like other people see me.

If it looks like in the image, I think I should be good with a SMP and eventually a donor repair....

On this picture it looks excellent. Looks like full head of hair.

I was a bit skeptical about him at first singe he is the new guy but I gotta say he did an outstanding job and gave you full coverage on the crown.

Muresanu also did a good job on the frontal third.

But yeah I agree  transplants can be tricky bro. They are just 50% native density that's why they sometimes look thin under harsh lighting...

What was the density per cm2 specifically during first surgery and during second ?

Strip: Dr.Sever and a cooperative Doctor (Not Laura)

    Incisions: Laura

    Implantation: Nurses

HLC recommended me to get SMP in the scar or try with beard hair, but due to color difference, they don't recommend it.

I am actually in contact with Samuel Troonen for SMP, and also add density all over the head.

    Still deciding about it....

Yeah SMP is a great option ! Troonen does good work.

Will you go back to Bekir for a 3rd round to fill in the midscalp ?

  4. Medication like oral Dutasteride and  minoxidil will buy you a LOT of time don't worry. It will certainly stop further miniaturization and MAYBE thicken up some miniaturized hairs.

I am 99% sure that you will not lose any hair at all for at least a good decade or so. Probably even more.

And even if you start thinning again, it'll not just happen overnight. It would take years to notice a deterioration in hair miniaturization on such a strong stack.

I suggest you check MorePlatesMoreDates, Haircafé, Dr. Oscar Muñoz, Hairloss Show. They have plenty of information regarding the long term efficacy of hairloss drugs.

Oral Finasteride & topical  minoxidil 5% mixed with tretinoin is the basic combo. Sufficient for most men to maintain a good decade. Unless your hairloss is really agressive or you use steroids.

Dutasteride + oral minoxidil + RU58841/Eucapil/CB0301= upgraded version. The strongest anti androgenic combo you can use without risking sides.

Derek's nuclear protocol = Estrogen 10mg, spironolactone 200mg, bicalutamide, cyproterone acetate, castration, lupron etc... They are many guys who regrow hair on these drugs and get better results than 80% of hair transplants on this forum. Check out  Transtimelines. These are the best drugs for totally stopping and often significantly reversing Male Pattern Baldness but these do come with A LOT of sides...🔥🔥😅😅

Ultimately I'd just stay on Dutasteride 0.5mf daily and minoxidil. And I'm sure you will be perfectly fine.

I really don't know anymore, I think I paid around 14k-15k bucks, so must be Under 2.9€ for 5227 Grafts.

We came to an discount as 4500 was planned and 5200 was yield.

But I am not a huge Fan on Hattingen Hair anymore....

    That's a fair price.

    yeah I totally understand bruh.

    That shockloss  was really unfortunate...

I guess Dr. Sever took the strip, performed the incisions and then nurses did the implantation ?

Also what did Cengiz & Bekir say 'bout the scar ?

    Thank you 🙂

I am on 6mg Estrofem, but I am a little pissed. My body doesn't procude much skin oil anymore, so my hair is always like fresh out of the shower, having thin hair doesn't help ;)

Bro how much did Sever charge per graft for your FUT ? 3.45€ ?

  7. Most doctors prescribe oral minoxidil and believe it's safe.

Dr. Sergio Vaño and Dr. Oscar Muñoz swear by it.

Freitas and Pinto also prefer oral minoxidil.

I know Bisanga, Shapiro, Russell Knudsen, Mwamba, Bhatti also commonly prescribe it in.their practice.

On the other hand, Kevin Mann (who used oral minoxidil back in the day) made a series a videos about oral minoxidil and concluded it's not safe.

I believe oral minoxidil is no joke. Better than the topical for sure  since it skips the sulfotransferase issue, but it should be monitored under medical supervision. It's a good drug but not everyone is a candidate for it.

Btw how much estradiol do you take Jan ?

I wish you a rapid recovery

Hey folks, 25 year old guy here looking for advice on getting a HT

I caught my hair loss early, I suspect it started sometime shortly before the pandemic just before 2020 based off my old pictures. I didn't even clock I was losing my hair until a good friend of mine pointed it out, for now I can cover up the damage well enough but in truth I want to see if I can get a FUE hair transplant to fix up what I've lost

Ive been on Finasteride for the last 8 Months and been using Minoxidil for the last 4 months. As you can see, the progress I have had on it has not fixed the issue but it has had a small impact and I have doubts any giant leap in progress will happen if I give it a few more months

    Fin/Min Progress
    image.thumb.jpeg.723084e6538948312db6ee09d7151548.jpeg

My stance is I'm 25. I want my full head of hair back and I'm willing to commit to fin to keep it and min if I must (I've not had any side effects on either)

    1. How many grafts am I looking at to cover the highlighted area?

    2. What sort of cost am I looking at to get this done and done properly? (I live in the UK and I'm willing to go abroad if needed, can't spend more than £4k really)

    3. Can finasteride stop my hairloss, or at least hold if off well enough until I turn grey?

    4. If I go for this how long can I expect to wait before I get booked in for a HT

    1. I wouldn't try to go beyond 2000 grafts for your first procedure. Your lifetime graft supply during  is limited. Transplants can fail and grafts can be wasted.

    2. 4000£ is not nearly enough to get decent results unfortunately. You will have to save up to afford a better clinic. You don't wanna risk a turkish hairmill or a bad clinic in the UK.

    3. Stop completely till you're 60. Probably no. Slow down significantly to the point that you keep a decent hair of hair ? Probably yes. It'll depend on your genetics and sensiticity of your follicles to DHT. Some people may need to add additionnal agent or stronger pharmaceuticals at some point. For others, Finasteride is generally sufficient for maintenance

    4. If you want a good clinic then 6 months to a year.

"Full head of hair" is mathematically impossible...We don't have hair cloning.  Transplants are an illusion of density. They are 50% of your native hair density. Your graft supply limited and you have to take into account the need for additionnal surgeries in the future.  You should manage your expectations.

Some of the advice here on drugs is nuts makes me feel like Im on subreddits I shall not name. I don't want to take oral minox because who knows what a blood thinner in my system for possibly decades will do (Im aware its a very small dose). Dut, again is a risk Im not sure I even need to take right now. Fin is doing the job and I have no desire rn to switch to a drug that might have nasty side effects, I've already rolled the dice twice with Fin and topical min.

    Lmfao

Dutasteride is not nearly as bad as you describe it.

But anyways.  Fair enough if you don't want to use these medications then don't use them.Just stay on finasteride and hopefully that will be sufficient to slow down your hairloss significantly.

Just remember that any experienced memeber will tell you that surgery is always last resort. 25 is still very young to get a hair transplant.

You should do your research very diligently, have "realistic expectations"  and understand the limitations and lifelong consequences of hair transplant at such an early age.

Transplants are a risk. Spend time on this forum and research...

It's an extremely long process. Both financially, physically and emotionally. The "one and done" thing is a myth.

The "just shave it bro" after failed transplant doesn' work.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get a transplant but you should carefully consider all aspects and possibilities (long term donor capacity, risk of failure, 2nd procedure required, cost, commitment to finasteride, choosing a great doctor etc etc....)

    Good luck

He doesn't spend 10 minutes with you and I don’t know who told you that or where you heard that, in his clinic the extractions are done manually by his nurses and all the grafts are put by Lorenzo himself with implanters, in the Spanish and Greek forums you can see countless Lorenzo surgeries and judge for yourself

    Sadly bro he is hairmill.

    Message me in private

  11. I suggest your browse through the forum.

A hair transplant  is a huge deal and it can destroy your life.

Even the best doctors have bad results.

You can't just shave your head if it fails because of the scarring that will occur even with FUE

I suggest you rather upgrade to Dutasteride, oral minoxidil, topical anti androgens and "throw a kitchen sink"  at it and give a good 6 months.

Surgery is a risky gamble. It should always be last resort.

The risk of failure us high while the number of available grafts is limited  as you know.

Otherwise if the meds don't work then look into Freitas, Pinto, Bisanga. They are the best for hairlines specifically.

Or HDC Cyprus, Ximena, Bicer, Fuecapilar for decent budget options.

    Are you serious?

I have seen countless independent cases from Lorenzo and all of them are top level

    Dead serious bro.

He himself used to be an excellent surgeon but he's chosen quantity over quality.

Never seen a lot of independant reviews from him to be honest.

Only his own videos on youtube.

I think Freitas, Couto, Pinto, Ferreira, Ximena are better options than Lorenzo. At least for the moment.

That said, he does have some amazing results and repairs on his youtube but 5$ per graft is lot considering he spends 10min with you at best and you're getting operated on by 25-year old girls...

  13. And yeah be careful with beard hairs on scalp.

Sometimes it looks excellent but sometimes it looks like total crap and doesn't blend very well.

TrackRat has a negative experience with Eugenix.

There was a guy by the name of Bryan Chambers who had a similar issue with HLC.

So yeah beard hairs are good for the most part but it's tricky

I would probably talk with Ferreira, Lorenzo and Zarev if I were you.

Keep in mind that you cant have an ht without finasteride and the doctors above will probably tell you the same.

I Agree except for Lorenzo !

Lorenzo is a hairmill. Don't be fooled by his youtube videos.

4-5 patients a day, minimal involvement during surgery, outsources the work to young girls...

Oh i see , yeh man i just saw some incredible result for fut from them from a guy called gradina22, Are they any good you think for fue, I would always go for bisanga and freitas in europe but just curious about them?

They are probably the best for FUT in Europe.  I think they are comparable to Hasson & Wong for FUT quality.

They are good for FUE too. Never seen a bad result from them in years. But if we are talking FUE specifically then Bisanga and Freitas are more experienced and have a better track record.
