  1. Unfortunately to those who are young and not done the proper research (I was included in that category) or have a trained eye that looks great and you get your full hairline back…
  2. I tried so hard to find any bad reviews on them but couldn't find any, where are they hidden? lol
  3. Yeah 100% bro can’t wait to share it. I look forward to seeing yours too!
  4. Big difference from where you were, congrats on your new hair man. I hope it keeps improving!
  5. I am THAT guy. I was booked to go now hair time in June which changed to Eugenix in September thanks to this forum 🙂
  6. Thanks for posting your update especially the little nuances + the good and the bad. That hairline looks ELITE! I am someone who does skin fades too man! I know you said you couldn't do them anymore but what if you do a really low tapered skin fade, Something like this?
  7. I thought hair down would yield same reveal through the scalp in harsh sunlight, hows your hair like when it is down in harsh sunlight, can you see through? I am beginning my journey in September, can't wait!
  8. Thanks for posting your journey! from what it was to now it's definitely a LOT better but I too am just learning about this lighting condition as yourself. I didn't know that it can have such a drastic difference on your transplanted hair appearance :(. On a sunny day then do you just have to accept people seeing you with a thinning hair line or does fibers usually fix that? or does this problem differ from person to person
  9. Oh okay that's cool! I believe Dr Das used to be on 75 package but then moved to the 120 RS. Yeah I read about the packages and price increase, that same value at 120 now has to be at 210, I made the decision to go with 210 as I really want Dr Bansal to lead this so fingers crossed. Nice may is a bit soon for me I need to save some more money lol but I think il be going for September as prices seem to be lower then. You are right I am Indian so I feel comfortable that their native language is something I understand and therefore make any communication easier. I asked them about temple area and they said they would need to see me in person before deciding on that as temples can be tricky. Did you confirm some temple grafts for yourself?
  10. I have seen a few with Dr Das and they are really good but I think I am just going to stretch it and go for the 210 for my peace of mind. I know myself If I do the lower one il question it the whole time and that stress isn't worth the extra money in the bank. You had direct consultation with Dr das how did you do this are you from India? I am currently speaking to a rep on WhatsApp. Also if anyone can recommend anyone specific based on my hair pattern and loss id appreciate it otherwise I think Eugenix is the one I am going for. I did contact Dr Mwamba and a couple other highly regarded people on here but the waiting list is crazy!
  11. Hey do you have any links to these reviews I just can't find any, i am not going to this place but I was very close to do so before I found this forum so I am intrigued to see real non social media results.. thanks
  12. Oh believe me I am doing overtime just so I can save up for this lol. It's the 120 and 210 which I am really stuck by... there's a huge leap between the two. 120 is reasonable, the 210 is a stretch and will dig a hole in the pocket. I am going to look at several examples before deciding but I am leaning towards the 210, will keep the forum updated on the whole journey!
  13. I’ve decided to go with 210. I’d rather spend a bit more for something that will be life changing (couldnt agree more about car leave and phone contracts vs gambling on your HT) . Can’t thank people like you and others in this forum enough for saving me from a hair mill, I still need to cancel my appointment with them So Eugenix said I’d need 2500 grafts but didn’t want to operate on my crown yet. They said I can manage this and should see improvement with medications. I am going to up my finasteride dose from today to 1mg a day 🤞 + minoxidil once a day (should I change to two? It’s such a chore) + nizoral and micro needling. P.s. it’s been about 3 years now I’ve been using minoxidil but finasteride I only started a year ago so you could be right about how much I am masking here. My dad is NW 7 , the ONLY one bald in the family , he was already bald by 27 so hopefully I don’t have his genes!
  14. Hey Narmak thank you so much for your feedback. I have literally just ordered the derma roller now so I will start using that, I think not doing too much on the crown is probably a good idea in the initial HT as I may be able to retrieve some density with derma roller and minoxidil + continued use of finasteride, I currently take 1mg every other day, maybe after a few months il switch to 1mg everyday I have had no side effects so far thank god. I will start implementing Nizoral shampoo too as I have been lazy with that. Maaaaaan I thought I was going to be sorted for £2600 with now hair time but here I am contemplating spending £6/7000 haha but from reading the posts here Id rather have a good surgeon from the get go rather than go to them for repairs!
  15. After doing some research I have decided to go with eugenix in India. Just need to decide how much bank to break with the packages now.
  16. Hello Guys Firstly I want to thank this website for saving me from hair mills. I actually have a booking for now hair time and previously got a quote from hair of Istanbul, I was lured in by the thick hair lines and the social media following. I have now been researching on this forum and found so much info. I have made a decision I will go with a doctor and would rather pay more upfront rather than spend money repairing. I will attach my pictures if anyone would like to give recommendations I would greatly appreciate it. My budget was £3000 but after reading everything I think I will extend to £6000. With nowhairtime I was quoted at 3500 grafts and Vera clinic said I would need 4750 grafts lol. How much graft do you guys think I would need for my hairline to be restored with a natural look and the scalp? Once again thanks a lot guys I will keep everyone updated on my journey so it can help others. p.s. I have been on finasteride for a year now and minoxidil for 3 years and I am 27 years old.
