  1. Yann K DID use pico laser, as he stated. The difference seems to be that he tried to remove TRICO, not SMP !
  2. Yea man. Flight ticket werent refundable, I tried after our discussion last week. So i went along and hoped all my douvts would disappear during consultation, but unfortunately that's not what happened. Again, I trusted my gut, thinking rationally I still believe the results would have been good had I gone along with it. Regardless I'm glad I stayed true to myself.
  3. Let me tell you the story about how I almost had surgery with dr Aygin. First off, credits to them, the organization was exceptional and everyone was very nice and professional. What didn't sit well with me 'though, was that the doctor that did the preconsultation was not dr Aygin, but another doctor that worked there. Also, the preconsultation was probably around 4 minutes and would have been even shorter if I hadn't asked questions. The doctor came in, drew my hairline on, that was almost it. Quickly said he wanted to do 2 sessions and where he'd take my donor hair from : 4 minutes in and out. Maybe I was wrong but the fact it was not dr Aygin that did the preconsultation and the fact it was 4 minutes only threw me off. I felt like losing control of what was happening and decided I wanted out. They reimbursed me, although I told them I was okay with paying full price : after all, the surgery was planned and I have my honor. Classy of them to insist on reimbursing. I was probably wrong to blow it off. My colleage went there and his result is fantastic. But I went with my guts today.
  4. Did anyone shave / buzz down the years after fue and care to share pictures ?
  5. Thanks so much everyone. I know reached out to Demirsoy, FUE Capillar and HDC (Cyprus). I won't rush into the hair transplant with Aygin. What are your opinions on the 3 mentioned above ?
  6. Not sur if I proceed with it. I'm having huge doubts and I'm on the fence of just not going
  7. Thank you so much for all your responses. I wonder if ridging and cobblestoning are rare, if it's a small risk to take, or if it happens often.
  8. State of my hair a year ago, shaved since. Notice I already have tricopigmentation (like SMP but temporary, slowly fading) to make the hair look denser.
  9. Hell everyone, I (30 male, NW 4-5) m scheduled for a hair transplant next week (Dr Serkan Aygin). A coworker went there and had amazing results, plus it's really cheap there compared to what they charge you in Western Europe (prices I can't afford). I always thought that, worst case, the HT fails, I go back to shaving. However I discovered now there are risks like cobblestoning which are irreversible, and that shaving will be complicated anyways if the HT fails because there will be little scars (FUE). How big is the risk for cobblestoning, for example ? So now I need to pick your collective brain. Im advance, thank you very much for your answers.
