    Hello,

here is my 9 months update and 4 months which I have allowed the hair to grow.  The beard is still growing but very slow.  I still feel more hair coming though too.  I did cut my side and back and allowed the front and top to grow.

Not much of an improvement from last month.

    Hi Tony,

I will be completely honest with you, it is much better to keep the hairs shorter for a cleaner appearance

The longer you keep the hairs long, the more noticeable the thinning appears

I expected more coverage and I hope you will discuss this with the clinic

I'd like to bump this thread, I have the same question. Obviously, nobody has been to both places, so we'll never get a true evaluation on the question... but I'm really leaning to Eugenix, Dr. Gur has results and they look great and the videos from Grant are excellent, it's just that Eugenix seems to me like such a well-oiled machine and folks here who have great experiences there are so detailed and numerous.

For Eugenix it's a bit more travel for me and doctor involvement is a bit less (exclusive package), but their method of slits then DHT and the tech team that goes to work in that process seems super competent from what I've seen. So that's very appealing. Bu then so do the results from Dr Gur, very soild and his techs clearly do adequate work

@NARMAK I know you're happy with your trip but have a couple pending issues at this point.... if you had it to do all over again would you do anything differently?

@Gatsby Obviously, you're stoked, great results. Do you ever think man maybe I could have gone to (insert alternate clinic)...

@Ryan Daniel I guess same questions to you as above, your results have been great and your detailed experience echos most all I read. Any second thoughts ever?

I guess that's it... would love to hear some thoughts on this or aspects of Eugenix that maybe got glossed over in your reviews that made it special for you or perhaps you think back and think that wasn't all that cool. Thanks!

    Hi Ray,

My alternate clinic was BHR clinic with Dr Bisanga, simply because he does excellent natural density and world class graft extraction... however since I built a strong relationship with Eugenix and the doctors, I decided to put my faith in them.  I don't know what I would say regarding negatives at Eugenix. From my own experience, maybe I wish I had little more time in the office for consultation just to refresh things more and show things on the big screen about mapping and grafting plans. Otherwise, a good experience

I haven’t really looked into that as i live in the states. I vaguely remember people in the the uk use https://www.doctorfox.co.uk

I know there are websites like inhousepharmacy that ship to many countries as well.

maybe reach out to @sl as he is very helpful and based in Europe.

Yes I am definitely interested if possible to ship within Europe. @sl please contact me when possible. Thanks

@Ryan Daniel..Hi Ryan this is coming along great …can I ask did you say you had SMP into donor ? Would you recommend it ?

    Hi Karl,

I definitely recommend it but only under someone who is qualified. SMP into the donor area gives the illusion that you have a fuller donor area when the hairs are slightly longer. Works perfect with a number 3 guard haircut, myself I tend to go with a number 4. This route is always beneficial for people like us who had multiple procedures.

I'm a big fan of SMP done into FUE scars and also I've seen some successful FUT scars get covered with SMP. I had SMP only because I was overharvested.... I done mine in late 2017 and it is beginning to fade ever so slightly. I remember being told that SMP requires a touchup every 6-7 years

  5. 7 MONTHS UPDATE

    Hi all,

I'm a day past my 7 month update mark from the procedure with @Eugenix Hair Sciences

Although I haven't felt much of a visual difference from last month I have definitely felt a touch of thickness in my overall hair strands and I believe it is the Finasteride playing it's part.  I'm a little over 6 and a half months of taking the 1mg daily dosage now and I feel that it is finally taking its course

My hairline is slowly growing out the way it should, yet I still have some empty spots that need to sprout out properly. I can see the base of the graft appearing out of the skin

My temple points also have a few grafts left to sprout but overall I am very pleased the way they are growing out and giving me a natural masculine appearance when looking at me from the sides. It was all about use of single grafts and flat angle plantation

The crown has filled in slowly and it is working hand in hand with the medication I have faith that it will be restored and thickened by the end of this. I refuse to wear an Toppik hair fibers to conceal anything.

The donor area is quite might look thick and full, but unfortunately I am not allowed to cut it shorter than a number 4 guard, or else it will look very patchy. As if it was cut by a blind man. I have gotten used to having the medium length hair and I am totally fine with it.  If it bothers me in the future, I will get SMP

Again I will point out how my hair looks when looked overhead view. I believe it looks thin and bad because Hair of Istanbul planted all my grafts in upwards angle

Overall styling my hair has been effortless, which is a huge relief in daily life. No more trying to hide the bad hairline anymore.  Now I just wait for some more growth that will hopefully occur within the 8th or 9th month. I do believe that some hairs grow less fast because single hair grafts that are taken from the nap area tend to have a slower growth cycle than the grafts taken from the strongest zone of the donor area

I have attached side by side difference of my hairline repair:

It is very important to me to appreciate the difference in appearance of the hairline.

The aim was to change something that looked like a bad hair transplant into something that is more natural and draws less attention

Thanks all for showing interest. Will be updating in the end of the year

  6. Seeing that hotel makes me miss the first few days post op when I was in Delhi. It was a good place to recover

You have the best beard ive ever seen. Being a norwood 7 means you will always requires more touch ups and it's great to see you have plenty of grafts to use under your chin!

Good luck for the next 9 to 12 months that are coming to you man
