  1. nice post however, I think it would serve our community and help those doing research for their possible ht if we could find this out about your original dr. think about posting his name...it might help someone from the same situation you find youserlf in today
  2. another progress report; little pimples starting to show themselfs in the recipient site, and my skalp ithes. I've b een taking msm since before the surgery, and I was told this would speed the process...I think it might have, since it's only 2 weeks since my ht. my donor and recipient area are still numb, and surprising, my crown which was not involved is as numb as any other part of my scalp I wonder why this is I think by the summer I'll be smokin
  3. I would love it if you directed kasimer to this page and see what he has to say about it
  4. hi hairworthy. please let me make this point...it's not that I defend dhi, I have no first hand experience with that company. it's that I abhor the fashion the attack on dhi was first made, and then blindly believed...the attack made in the shadows of criminality. this added to the fact that an important principal, (peter mac) remained silent...sorry, but peter has got to make some statement,...even if that statement is that he has been asked by authorities not to comment...he has to say something to that affect. I believe the email was genuine, but I don't believe the contents of the email are supportable. I don't know about you hairworthy, but I can't stand the idea that a company can be brought to ruin by merely sending an email, and then posting the email..which is what this entire affair looks like the contents of that mail is not supported anywhere but the email...a little suspicious me thinks that's another discussion, and off topic, I just want you to know there is no love lost on me with dhi, but I defend against an attack that's criminal and unsupportable no matter. anyway, I had no idea dmm already had surgery with kasimer...it's entirely possible Kaiser's skill has improved since the surgery performed for me. let's see some pictures dmm!
  5. I had transplants from him about 20 years ago. he claimed he invented strip, this was a lie he told me he did strip surgery on me, this was a lie, he did plug extrusion he told me he did single hair implants, this was a lie, he did multiple hair plugs he told me there would be no shock loss, this was a lie, the shock loss abounds he told me there would be no pain once the ht healed, this was a lie, I live with pain all he did was lie when I had my ht with him. I'm told he's the person that messed up nick cage's hairline, and donald trump. I don't know if that's true, but I know he messed up my head, my hair, my life
  6. I understand, your feelings arfy, but if that's the case, he has to say that that's the case.that's how I feel, but I understand how you and others feel
  7. I don't see it that way at all...as far as I'm concerned, given the magnitude of the events as they transpired, he HAS to make some kind of comment and he hasn't....this is unethical in every sense of the expression. I can't reserve judgement on behavior that is clearly deceptive and unethical, I'll pass jusdement on his deceptive behavior, and then I'll retract those feelings if I find out otherwise.
  8. I don't see it...as far as I'm concerned, he has to make some kind of comment, and he hasn't. I can't reserve judgement on behavior that is clearly deceptive, I'll pass jusdement on this deceptive behavior, and then I'll retract those feelings if I find out otherwise.
  9. oh, one more shot, the top view...this one really shows the affect of the plugs from the first hair transplant done by dr. kasimer.
  10. you know, I haven't seen peter coment on the dhi situation, and even though everyone is giving him kudos, I won't untill I see his explanation of what happened, and his explanation of how he handled it. I'm pretty sure the whole situation should have been handled better then he did. he should have made a comment as soon as the email was posted, since his name was invoked, he should have immediatly told us just how valid were the contents, and he should have told us if he know how the email was made available to the public. those are my feelings
  11. let me update my log though; I still have a numb feeling on the recipient and donor area...all swelling has gone down...the skin around the bottom of my eye is still streched from the swelling, but that gets better every day sleep is very easy. my original transplants are growing, and I think I have to buzz my head again for uniformity. I've lost the little hairlettes from the ht, and now I wonder even where my new hairline is going to be relative to my old one. that's it for these days
  12. the red totally dissapeared the first day, and I only had the scabs in the back as soon as the sutures were removed, I shaved my head to a 2, and not one person has asked about any surgery...no one can see any differance in the top of my head, and the scar in the back looks like I just took off a cap. I really don't have the anticipation I thought I would have, and I'm very happy with how this looks right now I might want to fue the temples if it's to mature a hairline, I'm 50 years old,and I don't have to worry about future recession...even if I did loose, I full exoect hair multipliction to make the whole issue a non issue I don't think anyone wants to see much more till around 4 or 5 months
  13. here's a before, will try to get more up when I figure out how to work this paint shop pro the patch of hair at the temple are 20 year old plugs...the direction is wrong, and they look very big in person...the area that's relatively bald is shock loss from these plugs...then there are pretty big plugs in the front
  14. you sound like me! I though had a bit of luck...I was convinced that no matter how good the ht, it would be detectable but then I went visiting a friend of mine who had his surgery years ago, and it was totally undetectable. he told me; hey, do it, it's time and you're not going to enjoy it more then you will today. that made up my mind, I went to see his doctor who was quite substantial, but then did some internet research and found that there were better choices. I went to the person that my research told me was the best...I lucked out, he was just minutes from where I lived. GOOD LUCK TO YOU~!
  15. ya, I was told that would be the case...didn't your surgeon tell you this? anyway, I was told after day three, these babies were mine to keep he told me that when I take a shower to work the area with my fingertips, and not worry about what you're describing cintact your dr. if you're concerned
  16. I was instructed to work on the crusts on day four...my doctor saw me on day five, and told me not to be too gentle you're fine
  17. well, I agree with your post I am a salesman right now, and we actually use the word "qualify" before we go on a call now, most of the salespeople in the office "qualify" by saying; "do you want me to stop by". I on the other hand, would rather not "stop by", I would rather give the person a the cons along with the pros before I "stop by", and I therefore find out if they are still a candidate, so when I "qualify", the more accruate term is I'm "dissqulifying" semantics of course, before any patient leaves an office, if he's still interested, the surgion should have a look if the candidate wants him to. this is the proceedure I would have in place if I were an ht surgion
  18. I have no problem with the idea of talking to a rep before a physician. If I'm a surgeon, I would really like to DISS qualify a person if an ht is not a good idea. a good rep will do that, and save the physician plenty of time. I know most of the top docs say you must have your initial consultation with the surgeon, I just dissagree wtih that phylosophy in the other hand, if the rep is a salesperson who's job is to talk a person into surgery, that I of course think is irresponsible
  19. well, the first night is tough falling asleep...finding the right position, and all that the white look of the follicles has already shed and all you really see is hair...I have o about 10- 20% clots...the rest just looks like a buzz Cut if I could, I would just shave the rest of my head and not wear a hat but, because of the sutures, I can't shave the rest of my head until they come out every time I look in the mirror, I am more and more impressed. pictures I'll post when the Dr. mails them too me.
  20. went VERY smoothly today everybody the Dr was supposed to do about 2000 fui and wound up doing 2400 he also cut out some of my old scars...thess e scars were a trouble spot, and I needed more Anestassia in that area...as a whole, the worst part of the surgery is the first few shots of the anesthesia the work is SPECTACULAR, with about 50 graphs per the hairline is really nice, and I'll post pics when the doctor sends them to me I'm on Tylenol 3 and will spell check and write more tomorrow
  21. none of my credit cards could withstand the charge, nor could I call one to do that, and of course, no doctor would threaten a patient with discontinuing surgery after it began. as far as calling a family member, no, I could NOT tell a family member what I was about to do. as far as my state laws, of course there are...I allready told you, I KNOW of doctors that have gotten beaten for their good will... none of them press charges, and in the end, they are just stuck. now that the story is said and told, I am better off for the entire situation, I've developed even more respect for dr feller then before this had happened, and this time I am going into surgery with absolutely no apprehension. dead horse now, ok? let''s find out what I look like, I'll post back by the way, the 23rd, just two days after this surgery is my birthday, 50 years old. this is a birthday present to myself thank you all for all this concern
