Good luck mate 👏

You can get Finasteride quite cheap online. I’m in the UK and it’s less than £60 for 6 months supply on some sites. I’d recommend that you get it, take 1mg per day and see how it goes. Not everyone has side effects, but like @A_4_Archan said, if you sides you just stop and they go away.

It’s okay, you can still ask your questions, we just don’t show his full name. His name rhymes with Pole, for those interested.
Glad you cleared that up Melvin. I was wondering what anyone would have a surname starting with C, 4 letters and can sometimes be changed to See You Next Tuesday 😂

Well, that escalated quickly 😂. Note to self, never ask anyone how many grafts they’ve had 😂

I fully understand mate. I’m a musician myself and I longed for the days when I had my “Slash” perm and could windmill my hair while we played stuff like Maiden and Metallica. Time catches up to us all, but getting a transplant will be the best decision you’ve made. My hair is now 90s boyband length 😃, but it’s still great to get that confidence boost of having more hair than you used to. Just go for it, you won’t regret it.

Any update on this?

That’s a great result. Congratulations 👏

Ah ok maybe someone with a grudge then! Makes it harder for us all.
Exactly mate. That’s the problem with Google reviews and Trust Pilot. We’ve had 2 negative reviews on Google at work, neither of which were actually clients of ours 😡

Thanks, liked the look of Dr Ed Ball but then found this. Not sure if it’s someone with a grudge or genuine. This is what makes it hard to find a surgeon you can trust.
I like Dr Reddy but just a tad out of my price range, happy to pay around £10k but may end up being around £15k I know you get what you pay for so may save up a bit more cash first.
Dr Ball is the one who did Jimmy Cart’s hair.

Fantastic result 🍻

This is a fantastic result mate. You look like a completely different (younger) person. Your confidence must’ve gone through the roof after this result 👏

I’ve always found this community, our community, to be mostly respectful, helpful and honest. The same can’t be said for Reddit. There are too many keyboard warriors on there, who do not think nor care about the comments they make. The testicle comment mentioned in the other thread is pathetic. It doesn’t even make sense, as the transplant they’re mocking with that comment actually looks fantastic.

I’d agree with Ryan, mate. Your front looks great. If you’re going for another HT, just top up the density in the thinner areas. Great to see what the HT has done for your confidence levels. A fantastic job all around and testament to how fantastic Dr Sethi and his team are.

He’s around 3 months post op. The poor lad’s donor looks decimated.

Looks like a decent result

That sounds strange for The Hair Dr. Although the results were hit and Miss in relation to density, one thing they always prided themselves on is customer service.

That is out of this world! 👏🍻

What a result! 👏

I’ve always gone to a local barber. However, yesterday I decided to go to a hairdresser instead. I’m not saying all of them are great, but the one I went to gave me loads of tips on products, getting the most volume/thickness for my hair, etc. he recommended a product called Bed Head Small Talk by Tigi. You put it on while your hair is damp, them blow dry the hair and it thickens it up and gives it volume. I’ve got to say, it’s fantastic. I’m not quite rivalling Melvin’s volume, but it’s definitely improved my hair.

The hairline looks good mate. It frames your face well. It’s probably just a shock seeing the recipient area while it’s still red and new, but in a few months once the proper hair starts coming through, you’ll forget all about it.

I’ve not seen many on this forum who come across as thinking that they are an authority on the subject. Even Melvin, who has years of experience and research behind him, will try and guide people, rather than give a black or white answer. Forums are for opinions from people who have been through things, and in doing so have gained a little knowledge about the subject. However, opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one and a lot of the time they might stink.

You should definitely start taking Finasteride to avoid further hair loss in other places where there was none previously.
