  1. A graft that is lost "prematurly", or because of "x","h" factors is usually going to bleed...Even if the graft is not viable, after implantation, the incision site is still not completely healed, if the graft is disloged it should bleed. Bananas said he had no bleeding, so I think it's safe to assume he is sheding early.

  2. Since you never had any HT's...That means you have no scars on your head...My advice, shave it all off, you will feel liberated...and who knows, you might even like it...At 35 you shouldn't be thinking the way you do....your not a kid, you have probably been around the block a few times....There are much worse things in life than hairloss...beleive me...

  3. Sometimes when a wound is closed, there can be dirt or hair traped below the wound...the pus is probably the body's imune response to expell the foreign matter...I doubt it's an infection...I had similar issues with both my HT's...Usually its where the staples, sutures are placed. But if you want to be sure call your surgeon...Hope this helps.

  4. It's not rocket science azn guy! The Dr. will recomend a certain amount of grafts, when the donor strip is about to be taken, the Dr. usually will asses the density per sq cm and then use common multiplcation to figure out how long and how wide a strip to take. He or she will take into consideration your laxity, and will either make a long thin strip,(1-1.2 cm), or a shorter wider strip, (1.5-2 cm). I beleive most expierinced Dr. prefer to take longer shorter strips when possible. There are no real "specific" strip details other than that. Staples, sutures, tri., double layer closure, etc., are all after the fact....

  5. I just got to chime in...I had my second HT on april 21st with Dr. Konior....He has got to be one of the most professional and ethical Dr.'s I have ever met. His work was top notch, and his after care, second to none! I email him with questions from time to time, and he always responds the same day! He really cares about his patients.
