  1. Did I miss something? I thought he said BHR is not allowed to use his pictures on forum. He didn’t say anything about them replying on this thread. Quoting his statement: “To all the "consultants" of BHR, you have no permission to post any pictures without my permission on forums.‘
  2. If you are in the US, and take the generic brand of Dutasteride, it’s only $23.99 for 3 month (90 pills). Sold at Costco. I’ve been thinking of switching too. Have been on Finasteride for 8 months now.
  3. Can't believe it has been one year already. This will be my final and last update and will include my thoughts and questions answered. I will try to stay as partial as I can. How happy are you with your HT? - I'm happy but not overwhelmingly. Wish I could have more density. Knowing what you know now, would you still have done it? - Absolutely! My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Would you go to the same surgeon (Dr. Bisanga)? - Yes. There's no question that Dr. Bisanga is good at what he does, but know that there are cheaper options (with similar quality) out there. Belgium was a convenient option for me during the pandemic where international travels were restricted. And I can afford it. How much did you pay? - ~10K Euro for 2744 grafts. Will you be doing a second HT? - Probably at some point. But despise the lack of density, I'm still happy with the result. As a matter of fact, you get used to this new you very quickly. I only realize how much improvement there has been when I look at pictures pre-HT. Will you be going to the same surgeon with your second HT? Possibly. But I'm also attracted by some locations elsewhere (South Korea, Turkey, etc.) where you get a package deal. I like not having to worry about looking for airfare, hotel, airport transportation, etc. Not sure why Dr. Bisanga doesn't offer all inclusive package deals like many others do. Hope my review and experience will help others still thinking of going through a HT.
  4. Month Eleven Not much to report other than I’ve noticed lately (yes, it took eleven months) that using flash on my camera seems to make my hair look thicker, which I feel it’s misleading. Here are the pictures with no flash. I’m thinking of going for a second HT to take care of the untreated areas and to add a little more density.
  5. I’ve said it before and will say it again. One of the best!
  6. Looking young pre-HT was mostly due to my face and body type. I’m thin and muscular. Having more hair now has certainly accentuated the younger look.
  7. I don’t because there’s never been a reason to. I don’t drink nor smoke or go anywhere that would need me to be carded due to looking too young.
  8. Funny you asked. I just purchased a Clay product from Amazon yesterday to try. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07KB39L6L?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image
  9. Yeah, I do look much younger than my age. Even before the HT.
  10. Does anyone think I should stop cutting my own hair and go to a proper hairdresser? 😁
  11. Month Eight The right side is denser than the left. Is this normal?
  12. Thanks! I knew from the beginning that failure wasn’t an option for me due to my hair style. So glad I went to Dr. Bisanga.
  13. Propecia is the same price here in the US ($115 for 30 pills on Amazon Pharmacy). Generic should be a lot cheaper than $100 I think.
  14. For those of you in the United States and taking Finasteride, Costco Pharmacy is selling 3-month (90 pills) supply for $8.99. That's amazing cheap. And I thought Amazon Pharmacy was cheap at $14 for 30 pills.
  15. Looking good. Now the journey begins... Who is Dr. Kostis? I thought you went with Dr. Bisanga?
  16. Your case is very interesting and I'll for sure be following. Seeing my own result now, I wish I had done a HT much earlier myself. Which brand of oral minox are you taking? Are you planning on stopping Propecia or taking it together?
