Someone mentioned fueclinic but it takes about 6 weeks to arrive if you are from the states from what I was told. Strut doesn't deliver to California from what I see on their delivery option unless I'm wrong? I'm interested in topical dustasteride as well so any ideas where to get them with reasonable delivery time will be appreciated.

I did once every 2 weeks in the beginning (scared of sides), then once a week, then every other day at 0.1% (no sides) and now once a week 0.1% again (I don't need more)
I might change to every other day at 0.05% when I wash my hair. You have to play around
I will never go higher than 0.25% again. I had massive sides at 0.5% twice with Liposomes so I switched to Trichosol
What were the side effects you had with topical finasteride?
And you said you take other growth factors with topical (0.1%, Trichosol) so what are they?

No idea. Logically thinking, it's not as invasive so I would think not. Even if it does, it would be more scattered so less noticeable even if the spots would actually have tissue loss. But, again something to ask the doctor I would say.
Yea that's something is should ask. I'm just so confliclted if I should do FUT or FUE

@Egott92Thanks for sharing your journey! Progress looking good
Do you feel any numbness around the scar area? In reading online it was said that one of the possible side effects of having FUT is that the scar (donor) region might have some permanent tissue damage and loss of sensitivity. Wanted to double check this.
Doesn't fue have the same tissue/sensitivity risks as well?

1) Around 1,000 more grafts can be harvested with FUT for the same price as FUE, and 2) Starting with FUT first maximizes donor availabilities over time.
I would reach out to Dr. Konior directly for fee quote. It believe it depends on individual procedure difficulty and total grafts. As an estimate, expect to pay between 12-14 per graft for FUE, and between 8-10 for FUT.
What is his role in the procedure? Does he do the extractions, incision, Implanting, etc?

I can only hope so!
So what made you choose FUT over FUE for yout first procedure? And how much does Dr Konior charge per graft?

The incisions are the most important part, and of course extracting is important too. top clinics like h&w have trained techs who are amazing at what they do.
Then thats good to hear they are well trained. Rare to find clinics with highly experienced techs with the large turnover rate

I'm pretty sure both Hasson and Wong do two patients in a single day, and only do the incision work
That's odd. Extractions is arguably the most important part of the procedure since the hair grafts will die if the surgeon isn't skilled. Incisions are important too so at least Hasson does that. But I rather have a doctor perform the extractions/incision/hair design and have the techs do the implanting stage. What your guys think?

Youtuber David DiMuzio did a similar video with his hair transplant doctor Steve cook, and he mentioned that a person is only a fue candidate if they don't have hair loss gene running in their family and just looking to fill in some thinning/bald area, if you have thick dark, straight hair, and if you are just have minor hair loss. What are your thoughts?

Personally research is always important ! Since its your first HT you should try and see several different clinics to see to general consensus on what they think is best. In my opinion as your hairloss is very similar to mine you seem like a NW3 atm and need around 2500-3000 grafts. In a transplant of this size i think maximizing FUT is the better route but if you dont want the linear scar or just prefer the FUE than definitely go for that. I agree with Melvin that one shouldn’t put all of his eggs in one basket and decide too quickly. Check the reviews as stated and try and reach out to several clinics !
Thank you. I was going the FUE route but think I may go the FUT route since it has higher yield and I want to preserve my donor area since I most likely will need a 2 HT. You have similar hair texture as mine and you got great density in the hairline so that gives me hope. Great slick back look👍. I. Trying the same look.

I don’t know much about them, they have a large following on social media that’s about all I know. Your case looks similar to @andrew11 similar hair loss and hair color. My advice is look up actual reviews. Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.
Thanks for the feedback.

I had a consultation with Physician Jacques abrahamian. He recommended that 2800-3000 grafts to fill in the two corners and to add density behind the hairline. *See area i circled*He does the extractions, designs the hairline, marks the donor area with a marker of how he will extract to prevent over harvesting. And he makes the recepient area. He's not a doctor so that worries me but he has a good track record and haven't heard anything negative about him. Attached are my photos so I have a few questions for you guys:
1. What's your take on la fue hair clinic? If you think I should go elsehwere, then I would love to hear suggestions.
2. How many hair grafts do I need to fill in the area I circled to have good density. I want to fill in the two corners and some density behind the hairline. So zone 1 and part of zone 2.
3. Based on pictures, would FUE or FUT be best? Hair loss does run in my dad's side and not my mom's so I'm m sure I will need a second one. I just want the best results and don't care about scar from both procedures since I will have my hair long enough to hide the scar/scars.
4. And what are the most important questions to ask during a consultation?
Thanks

Sure. I've added a photo above.
Thanks. Did you get any shock loss in the middle portion of your hairline where you had transplant hair implanted in between the existing hairs? If so, did they all grow back? I'm looking to add some density behind my existing hair line and was worried about shock loss.

I'm thinking about purchasing a laser cap to strengthen my donor area. Has anyone tried one before and does it work? I had a consultation with a hair consultant and she said Capillus was the best. What is the best brand? Any information about this topic will be gladly appreciated. Thanks

wow i like the tag line : Neither One is Better OR Wrong , so that puts All the debate to Rest .
But for FUE, you are extracting outside the "safe zone" donor area so your transplant hair is less likely to last compared to FUT. Am I wrong?

Can we see the donor area?

I’ve seen some good results from LA hair clinic. The main guy, Jacques, used to work at alvi Armani as a tech so most of his skills were developed there. Their prices are decent at 6 dollars a graft. However, keep in mind that Jacques is only a PA not an MD. Not sure if this is a big deal for you. I don’t think he makes this clear on his site or IG and most people think he’s an actual doctor. Just sharing some facts
Oh he's not a board certified surgeon? That's important to me.

LA is very expensive but if you don't mind spending extra $ , go for it
D Diep sounds like a better options, less expensive and will probably give you same or better result
Actually La clinic only chargers $6 per graft. and Dr. Diep charges $8.25 per graft.

So I'm planning on getting a hair transplant by this summer or fall and I am thinking of going with dr diep. But there is place close by me called La Hair clinic. They have a huge Instagram following but how reputable are they? Has anyone gotten great or bad results from them? Please any info from them or Dr. DIEP will be great!
Thanks

I'm also considering HLC here in la. Has anyone had a FUE procedure with them and are the doctors board certified?
