Everything has turned out great. Another great result by Eugenix. -

In my experience, Dr. Pittella's team is far better and faster to respond compared to other top doctors. That said, you may still have to wait for a few days. Totally worthwhile. -

Incredible. I know it's only hair, but dare I say, life-changing. @Dr. Felipe Pittella is raising the bar with every procedure. -
NW 7 Restore or Regret?
zach07 replied to Approach's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Only reason I am putting Pittella over Zarev and Eugenix is that with Eugenix, there are some mixed stories about the procedures being done mostly by technicians. You can't deny their results though. As far as Zarev, still a bit of unknown. Just not as many results out there as Pittella and definitely not as many as Eugenix. Eugenix puts out a ton of results for people to see and with that kind of volume, bad comes with the good. There are bound to be some unsatisfied patients. Law of percentages. -
NW 7 Restore or Regret?
zach07 replied to Approach's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
@Approach fellow NW 7 here. Or as Dr. Pittella thinks, somewhere between 6 and 7. Having done consults with quite a few surgeons, imho, Dr. Pittella is your best option (no offence to Zarev and Eugenix). If you have sufficient beard hair and don't mind parting with them. Dr. Pittella can work absolute wonders, without leaving your scalp donor looking completely barren. My advice is to do a video consult with him and yes, be ready to fork out some serious money. All the best. -

You have picked a great surgeon. Happy growing. -
Would love to see more results 5 to 10 years post-op, especially where body/beard hair is utilized.

Dr. Pittella -12,219 grafts - 50 years old

@Marcelo Nunes Cravo Happy growing. How many grafts from scalp vs. beard? -
I could be wrong, but I think rates for locals are much lower than they are for international patients. I think that's the norm for many surgeons these days.

No response from Dr. Bicer
zach07 replied to zach07's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Just a quick update. Want to thank @Dr.Ozlem Bicer who was nice enough to do a video consult with me yesterday (it was almost midnight in Turkey). She didn't need to, but apologized for the delay in setting it up. A lovely person and very ethical in her approach. Truly refreshing. -

Could you post a breakdown of how many scalp vs beard hair ? You mentioned a previous FUT procedure. In the post-op pic of your back, I don't see a scar. If it's there, it's the thinnest scar I have seen. Unless, maybe you have had the scar repaired? All the best. -

Incredible result really. I do agree with @Ccd99that donor looks slightly patchy. But, when it comes to high Norwoods, it really is a tricky trade off. In my consult with Dr. Pittella, I got the sense that to achieve a result like this, donor might take a slight hit. At the same time, Dr. Pittella is careful about achieving homogeneous density in the donor area relative to the recipient area. So, while the donor doesn't look perfect, would I rather have a thick back and sides and nothing on top? Or something that looks like this ? For me, at least, it's the latter, by a mile. -

Just an update. Still haven't heard from @Dr. Ozlem Bicer Clinic or Pekiner. The front office people of Zarev, Munib, HDC and Pittella were very responsive. Within a few hours. Pittella staff is especially good at maintaining constant communication, despite the language barrier. Not passing judgemant on any clinic. I just think it's the business model that these top Turkish clinics have. I am just hoping that this lack of responsiveness doesn't continue post-op. -

What Gym Protein do you guys use?
zach07 replied to Rose17's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
He only mentioned whey because that's what i asked about but, I can't imagine whey and whey isolate being that different for hair loss. It's just a matter of less lactose. His pont was about creatine and steroids. -
What Gym Protein do you guys use?
zach07 replied to Rose17's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
In my consult with Dr. Pittella, he was emphatic that Creatine causes some degree of hairloss. I did mention that I take whey protein. He said that's fine. No effect on hairloss. I think in general, rigorous workouts can increase testosterone and that also can impact hairloss in some people. -

Thanks for that. Very helpful. It's refreshing that they have a proper website. Once on the site, I saw an option for whatsapp message. Left a message. -

zach07 replied to zach07's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Thanks. Figured that long response time was common. I am just trying to do my due diligence and have consults with the few surgeons on my list before deciding. -
Hey guys. Being a high Norwood, I have added Eugenix and Dr. Bicer to my list, along with Dr. Pittella. My consult with Dr. Pittella was great. Haven't reached out to Eugenix yet. Did reach out to Dr. Bicer last week. Sent her a message through this forum and also through her site, but no response yet. I am sure it's just a matter of them being busy. Totally understandable. For those who have had consults with Dr. Bicer, any idea what the average response time is? Thanks, Z
