7.5 months - Pro - I no longer need to wear nanogen/hair fibres - that is ONLY if I style my hair flat and forward as you can see in the picture.
Con - my hairline at the front is still gappy so if I style my hair up at the front then I need nanogen/hair fibres
Please Note** I do not part my hair, only for demonstration purposes. The 90's are over. 😂
What do you think so far?

I think the result is promising so far and you can already see a big cosmetic change from pre-op. Although it's lacking in density, it is looking uniform. It's still early days and the side parting obviously doesn't help.
haha! as mentioned the parting is only for demonstration purposes. Not trying to be Peter Andre hahaha I normally have my hair shaved back and sides, short on the top and just combed forward.
My only concern is density as I just passed 6.5 months and still wear a tiny bit of fibres but I cannot stick my hair put at the front yet as it looks abit spare. -

I don't have any fibers on any of my update pictures on either of my threads. I also have a video on YouTube, where I show you how to swim with hair loss concealer. I show my bare crown at 0:40
Damn your results are insane! I saw your other video with your hair wet and without hair fibres! so Jealous! -
any other feedback?

You need to grow the transplanted hair out in the front and keep it tight on the sides. Your hairstyle should compliment your transplant, use layering effect to your advantage. This is my 2 cents as you move forward, and you won't need hair fibers anymore.
Also parting hair will show skin unless transplant was high density with lots of grafts packed in - which most people don't have the donor to support.
Good luck
Thanks for that. The hair parting is not my hair style, I just did it for a demonstration to compare with the before. I am now growing out the front and keep the sides shaved. Fingers crossed the 7 month mark photos will be much improved

at what point do people stop wearing fibres ? I know its a broad question.

I did 3 PRP sessions myself over the summer. Didn’t notice a difference.
Ye I guess PRP is a waste from my personal opinion haha

At 5.5 months everyone wants more density, it’s really just the beginning.
thanks mate, feel more comfortable. When do people normally notice density increase?

Thanks for the update Ahmeda87.
There is a significant aesthetic improvement since your last post and this will continue to improve over the coming months with your full result coming in at 12-15 months.
I'm sure you are really pleased so far and I look forward to seeing your updates over the coming months.

Density will definitely improve, 5.5 months is barely even halfway. You're right on track, do you normally part your hair? I haven't seen that hairstyle since the 90's.
haha i dont part my hair, I just did it for the pictures to show the improvement. My hair Is just flat and forward when styled. I really hope density improves

Good improvements with 5.5 month update. And its only going to get better. Still have 6 months of growth as well which im sure will thicken it up more judging from other peoples progress. I wouldnt worry
How often are you doing the PRP? Post hair transplant
Thanks, I guess Density is my only worry now. I did a total for 4 PRP sessions every 4 weeks as thats all I needed. To be honest, I am not sure if PRP worked.

Clear improvement and overall you are heading in the right direction. 5.5 months is still early and wouldn't worry too much about density at the moment. I'd certainly be happy with how things are going if I was in your shoes considering your pre-op situation.
oh ye certainly a great improvement. I only use a little bit of hair fibres but hopefully i can completely stop using them soon.

4 months is way too early. This is literally the beginning of growth and I already see some growth. Patience is key.
thanks mate

You're just 4 months in today right? Then the ugly duckling stage should just be finishing and this is when you hopefully start seeing some noticeable growth. The hairs at this stage should be pretty weak as the hair shaft is still developing and has to go through more cycles to get thicker and reach full maturity
Although your hair is cut at different lengths from the photos you provided, a simple comparison between them reveals your hair in the 4 month photo looks more uniform, meaning i suspect growth has already begun (whereas your hair in the pre-op photo looks really bare).
Realistically Month 4 is way too early for most to assess their growth (took me until month9-10 to hit full density with my first FUE) so hopefully in the next month or so you;ll see some improvements. Just a waiting game at this stage buddy
As for hair fibres i used them after 4 weeks. There are other threads on it, and ask your doc https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/54981-hair-fibers-after-hair-transplant-surgeons-recomandations/
Keep us updated
correct 4 months. Yes I am seeing some growth. just got worried as some people have a head full of hair at month 4. Ye I get the waiting game can be stressful at time 😁 Thanks about the post on hair fibres.

Still too early. You look to be on schedule for 4 months. Remember your hair was much longer in your before pics so we couldn’t see the full extent of your hair loss.
true. I think I have had some good growth but I see people with a head full of hair at month 4 so got me worried.

anyone please? I am worried by my progress
