  1. Day 9: So I stayed in Brussels for 12 days as I wanted to heal properly. As I have my own business I can run it from my laptop so that made the longer stay easier. Today is my last day here and while I was here, Dr Lupanzula insisted I come see him nearly everyday for a wash and check up which I thought was amazing of him because I can imagine how busy he is. My experience with Dr Lupanzula + his team was incredible, he really does take a patient first approach. He is a very humble and down to earth guy, always putting himself in the shoes of the patient. I did a lot of research before my HT and met with a lot of Dr's but Dr Lupanzula was the only Dr that made me feel 100000% comfortable. As you can see, Donor area looks good. I still have discomfort in my donor area but that is because my nerves are more sensitive than normal. Washing off the scabs slowly on the top and still discoloured from the trauma. So that will take time to heal. Dr said I can wear a cap now rather than the usual bandana. Now time for the most important part. The waiting game for the results. I will aim to post once a month.

  3. Thanks dude. Will keep documenting. As it was very frustrating for me when people would drop off after getting a little bit of results. So hopefully a full progress of my journey will help. Obviously a very long way to gooooooo
  4. Day 5+6 - Pain in Donor area so terrible sleeping. Pain is on a 6/7 Level. I am taking Paracetamol which is helping a bit. Might add some Ibuprofen to the mix.

  6. exactly. Donor management is just as important as the recipient area.
  7. Day 4. Swelling under eyes. Looks like I have been punched haha. Healing on the top the stain I think is from the shampoo. Donor Looks good as well.

  9. Thanks Scott, will continue documenting and hopefully it helps more people. As I got frustrated during my research when people just went silent after a while. I don't want to do that.

  11. Day 1. Bandage removed, head washed and cream applied.
  12. Did you try PRP? I had my FUE with Dr Lupanzula yesterday and he gave me a PRP injection as well. I am thinking of taking up a PRP session. Maybe 3 or 4 injections every month but I am hearing mixed things about PRP.
  13. I finally did it! I was on Propecia for 10 years I believe it dramatically slowed down my loss ( no side effect), I had a 1 year break because i got freaked out by all the stuff I read online but then went back on Propeica. So, Biotin, pumpkin seed tablets, laser comb, minox for the rest. My hair loss pattern is not even which is also not unusual. So anyone with uneven hair loss, hopefully my post helps. After months of research and coming out of a long term relationship I thought Its better I get the HT now while I am single then I can jump back in the game with confidence haha. Hopefully it pay's off ūüėā So I decided on Lupanzula. A number of factors went into my decision. I was in the range of 2200-2660 so got an extra 63 grafts in the top end. Literally finished surgery a few hours ago so this post is fresssssh - Fingers Crossed. I will post monthly updates. I pledge not to ghost once's I start seeing results.

  15. nah dude, I promise to document my journey monthly. I don't want to be those guys that just drop off after a HT and live happily ever after haha. finding a surgeon can be hard so maybe by me becoming consistent with documenting will be able to help.
  16. DM me your email and I will show you but it is nothing special, just a rough sheet.
  17. I was told by a lot of dr's I am a good candidate for FUE. I always wanted FUE as well.
  18. Location, pricing, available dates, video results, Joe Tillerman, graft numbers (2200-2600) which I think is fair because I will need two more HT's in the future. Where are in Turkey and some in Belgium quoted me 3500-5000 ūüėģ Also Dr Lupenzula is part of all the governing HT bodies. I had a video skype consultation with him, saw a few of his interviews on The Bald Truth, and with Joe Tilerman. I am based in the UK and overall finally I felt comfortable with Dr Lupenzula. He does most of the procedure and takes a Dr driven approach. Finally, I just created a spreadsheet of all the pro's and con's on each Dr on my shortlist - lined up the facts then solidified my decision on who made me feel the most comfortable.
  19. Hey All, So I am BOOKED!! for Dr LupenzulaÔĽŅ May 14th. I will be documenting my journey and results.
