You’re still way early in the process. The good news is your donor looks natural. It may be a little thin, but no one is going to notice anything unnatural.

Itchy donor could just be those nerve ending finally repairing themselves from the surgery. Make sure you’re scalp isn’t too dry.

Thanks mate. It is actually the recipient area that is itchy :/

I think it is all looking good so far. Actually I would cut the sides even shorter. Maybe little shock loss, but it you should recover with your recipient. Keep us posted and happy growing.

By the way: No clinic has better looking donors day 0 to day 1 than Lupanzula. Similar maybe, but better: No.

ye you think recipient has a little shock loss? I am starting to think as new hairs we planted close to native hairs as my hair loss did not follow the typical receding pattern. going to have a hair cut soon to neaten up everything.

I am also having PRP with Dr Lupanzula. Hopefully that speeds things up.

I honestly didn't experience or notice any shock loss in my donor areas.  Your dark hair also creates a contrast that makes it more evident with a short hair style.  Your donor area looks fine and I'm sure will fill back in over some time.  Let your hair grow out a bit for a few months if you're uncomfortable with it and then go back to the shorter hair cut in about 6-8 months.  Just my thoughts.

Thanks John. Did you get shock loss in the recipient area?

You're in the dreaded ugly duckling phase. Don't worry the gaps in the donor area should improve as the months go by, I had the same issues. That said, you will have less overall density in the donor area, so just be mindful of that. Everything looks on track I am excited to see your progress.

Thanks dude, appreciate the feedback. This phase is surly a shaky experience as I was not expecting my native hairs to fall out. Understand donor will be less sense, just hope with time it looks less gappy. How long did it take you to see regrowth?

I can remember actually thinking I would need a 2nd ht asap which really frustrated me but a few months later its back to normal and looks fine. I might get it a 2nd one on the crown in the future if it gets worse but that was always the plan enjoy the process because once the ugly duckling phase is gone it's a good ride.

Thanks mate, appreciate it. A few months under a cap it is for me then haha

My crown went worse post ht like yours which worried me but went back to normal after a few months  I would try not to worry and play the long game you have choose a good doctor so sure your results will be good

thanks for that. Shedding of HT hairs and shock loss of native hairs is a shaky experience. Glad to know I am not alone

  7. Week 7 : 😭😪

The shedding is brutal. I have a feeling I have lost some of my native hair (shock loss). Is it normal to also shed native hair? As I am comparing the pics of my shaved hair before the HT (as you can see above) and I certainly have more native hair than now?

Also what do you think of my donor area? I think maybe that still needs time to recover?

I had my back and sides shaved blade 1 two weeks ago

    Feedback pleaseeeee
