I went there in October. They do a maximum of 6 patients a day. Now dr Erdogan does his max of 6 in the new clinic and his new doctors do another 2 patients. Dr Erdogan himself sent a memo out to everyone here on the forum explaining all this a couple of months back.

Below is the link to the thread. If you go to Melvins post on Jan 8 he pasted an email he received from Dr Erdogan.

Asmed results lacking density seem to be a reoccurring issue over the last year or so. I have lost faith in them being able to produce a result that compares the the top guys anymore. They need to be compared to the other mills in Turkey if we are being completely honest, which I'm sure they are at the top tier for that sector.

My advice would save more $ and visit a doctor who does the entire operation with stick and place methodology.

Thanks for the thoughts and support. I agree although don't have a choice now lol. It will take couple months to grow it back out and at that time I will be close to 10 months so doubt will see much change in hair. From  being able to look at my hair roots closely since it has been shaved...It does appear there is a lot of space between the hair (hence why it was looking gappy)so hoping I still have some hairs that haven't come in? Can anyone tell how many cm/sq my hair is now using the zoomed in photo above. I believe it was suppose to be close to 50 cm/sq.

I am going to submit these new photos to Asmed see what they say and will update there response.

It looks quite good objectively. I would like to know what Asmed response will be to that density query. Good luck mate

  3. This may not help but honestly you look fine for now buddy. Just stick with what you have (knowing that you have future options, if you choose, can greatly increase your confidence and reduce anxiety). I think a hair system is not the answer, it will just make you more self conscious i.e. does anyone notice? A high hairline at your age sucks but be thankful it's not diffuse overall thinning which is much harder to resolve.

Keep you chin up son, you live in the best time in our history for a balding man. You have options, don't rush.

Here is my 7 month update.

im feeling much better about my hair after my hair cut (2 buzz on sides blended leaving hair long on top). The 2nd to  last picture I moved hair around so you can see how density still not there yet especially behind hairline. From what I have read the singles come in first so maybe it’s just dense at hairline and the doubles triples haven’t matured yet

i know I’m only 7 months and have time foR improvement. I am just happy the hairline came in looking natural at least I think so. Anyone who didn’t know me before including my new hair barber can’t even tell I had anything done which was one of my main goals. I have learned that I am my biggest critic and was obsessing over angles and how it was looking but 99% of people will look at you from face on which is the last photo and I think it already looks good.

Hope the constant updates are helping people with the time line especially for those of joy who have fine hair

Mate that hairline is spot on. Looks so good, I'd love mine to come out looking as crisp.

Everything is looking great man, I think you will still see some increased density over the next 5 months and worst case scenario you can always go back for a touch up if you need to. They got the hairline right which is really the most important thing I think.

Thanks for your updates, it's been really helpful.

I don't think you need an HT at all; yes you have some hair loss but not much and looks good. With HT, your appearance won't change much.

I don't agree. His hairline has miniaturized, creating a bit of a chewed out look. The HT will create a big difference in both framing his face and creating density.

Hairlines may be able to be refined.  It depends on the ethics of the doctor.  It depends in the level of scar tissue a surgeon causes with creation of  high density recipient sites and so forth.  If there is ridging and cobblestoning it makes things scary and some docs recommend complete resection.  Lots of variables here.

It is best to find a doctor that excels in the true art of lateral slit technique and places grafts safely with safer tools.  A lot of what you see online is misleading and misinformation.  There are folks that are not upfront and can decieve.  You really have to be careful and do your research also outside of forums by trying to find real patients you can meet up with.

Well said. My first comment assumed that you go to a decent Dr in the first place (we all know the usual top 10 names) that uses the latest manual techniques and lateral slits.
