  1. @Melvin- Admin the clinic is called Voloomed and the doctor is Dr Hakan, Jesus it’s like a dictatorship in here.
  2. QUESTIONS FOR THE COMMUNITY: • Are those Golden/Clear wisps actually hair? • in my hairline, there is a gap which feels completely smooth, I cannot see any hairs there either, does this mean the grafts in this section died / did not survive? • Are there ingrown hairs? Or is this normal to have in the donor area one month post op? See pic below
  3. @jjalay Before I give out the name of the clinic, I would rather wait and observe the results. If it was a mistake, I don’t want to point desperate people in the same direction.
  4. Quick Bio: 28 year old male, with diffuse thinning that resulted in full scale baldness by the age of 22. Had SMP at 22, and have been wet shaving my head since. Desired Result: To have a hairline again, not expecting the level of density that Melvin or my Irish friend that went to Eugenix have, but something thinner then than and full coverage. Ready to accept a thin midscalp & crown provided the hairline is done well, which I’ll be able to keep at a level one guard, and grow my beard. My 2 1/2 week pictures is beyond what I ever imagined would be possible, so pretty safe to say my bar wasn’t too high. Procedure: I went to a clinic (will remain nameless for now) in Istanbul, which performed a FUE HT, extracting circa 9000 grafts from a combined scalp, beard and chest. The breakdown was roughly 6000 from the scalp, 2000 from chest & 1000 from the beard. Slits/Incisions were performed by the doctor, and placement of grafts by two technicians. Day 1 consisted of 6000 scalp grafts, which took roughly 14 hours and covered the hairline, temples and midscalp. Day 2 consisted of 3000 Chest & Beard grafts, focusing on adding density to the midscalp and very lightly touching the crown. Pictures are from pre op, post op, two and half weeks post op, and month and a half post op. I’ll leave a set of questions for you all below, and feel free to do so vice versa. I hate reading large blocks of text, so please only use bullet points if possible (this is why I put off making this post for so long *facepalm*) Just a final FYI that I have been trimming my head with a machine/trimmer since the dredded shed, hence why I now have shorter hair. Pre-Op: Immediate Post-Op: 2 Week Post-Op: Month Post-Op:
  5. @streethawk thanks for the reply, and most likely I won’t. I just want to know why though, if the recipient site and grafts are sealed and healed.
  6. Hi Guys, I’m 6 days post op now and was wondering whether I could shave my head during the ugly duckling phase? I’ve kept a razor shaved head for about 5 years so feel comfortable shaving my head, and would rather this than patchy growth that would highlight my existing SMP. Is there any reason why I can’t? From what I’ve read here, your grafts are secure after 10 days, so was wondering if I could do a wet shave.
  7. Though I do appreciate you taking the time to read and comment, please do answer the question if you can and avoid answering with another question.
  8. I’m going for a HT in November, and will be extracting grafts from my donor, beard and chest. I was wondering based off of the picture, how many grafts do you think I can get from my chest?
  9. Going for a HT in November so would be interested to see pictures, and hopefully a clinic recommendation in London.
  10. I’m considering this too, I haven’t seen any cases posted here with any results, I’d love to see some.
  11. It’s commonly known that fasting is great for cell regeneration. So I was wondering, in an ideal world where you’re consuming all the right nutrients, will fasting after a hair transplant actually speed up healing and improve end results? Of course I know there is probably a lack of research, but would be interesting to hear peoples thoughts.
  12. Goal: To frame my face with a hairline. Currently have SMP and would like to add texture through a HT. Not looking for extreme coverage/density, and would be happy to rock a thin buzzcut. Would get SMP to help cover FUE scars post HT. Profile: I’m 26 year old, and experienced vigorous hair loss in my early twenties leading to the loss of my entire crown and hairline. I have been monitoring my hair loss since by letting it grow out, and have noticed the hair loss has now stabilised. HT: Looking to take roughly 4000-4500 grafts from a combination of the back of the head, and my beard.
  13. For context, I’m 25 and have been rocking a shaved head with SMP for 3 years now roughly. I now am at a point that I want to combine scalp, beard and chest hair to have a thin 5 o’clock shadow/buzz cut sort of hairstyle with an already amazing beard. I’d appreciate suggestions, all in all I’m hoping for roughly 5000 grafts with about 3000 from scalp, 1000 from beard and 1000 from chest. My budget will be roughly £7000 so the Eugenix, Dr U and Bisangas of this world are out of my price range. Again, I’m not looking for a thick head of hair. I’m happy with a thin buzz cut to wear with my beard.
  14. @JohnAC71just had a look they’re slightly outside of my price range haha I can stretch to 4000£ but not up to 6/7
  15. @Melvin- Moderatorim based in London, any recommendations would be appreciated
  16. Hi Gents, I'm looking for the best possible beard transplant surgeon/doctor to give my beard a boost. I currently rock a shaved head with SMP but I'm looking to remove the SMP and would like a killer beard to complement my soon to liberated head. I've got a budget of around £3000, what's your thoughts on how many grafts I need and the best doctor to go with? I really want to add some thickness/density to the beard to give it some structure.
  17. Thanks gents, I was quoted 200 grafts by Eugenix which I’ll probably take from under the chin given the low number.
  18. @Melvin-Moderator thanks haha any thoughts on my original post?
  19. I probably should have mentioned I tried minoxidil for a long time and it did work but eventually stopped sprouting new hairs. I’m wary this post is becoming a battleground for finasteride so let’s stop that discussion lol. if anyone can answer my questions I’d be very grateful. 👍🏽
  20. BTW this is along the lines of beard + shaved head combo I want lol.
  21. So... to keep this short and sweet I'll give you all a quick overview. I'm 24 years old and pretty much NW6/7 with a pretty poor donor. I've been rocking a shaved head and beard for the 2 years now and I'm pretty happy with my look tbh. However, I came across a video on the Eugenix youtube channel recently of where a man got a beard transplant and it looked pretty cool! I now want to raise my beard and make it a little thicker. I was wondering one of two things: How many grafts do you guys think I need to raise my beard to the line I've drawn? Roughly how many grafts would I need? Can the hairs be taken from the back of my head? (I'm not too bothered about a little bit of scarring provided that its not too bad) All I really want is to remove my SMP and have a killer beard at this point, the SMP really helped me acclimatise to baldness and I'm now ready to go full Dwayne Johnson. Thanks in Advance Gents!
  22. Appreciate the responses so far guys! I'm okay with a little bit of scarring provided that I can have a little bit of density to 1 stop the SMP shine and 2 give a bit of texture to existing SMP.
  23. Hi Guys, I'll be really clear to help build a picture for you all. I'm a diffuse thinner and wish to have a HT to compliment my SMP and hopefully be able to rock a 0.5 buzz. My donor isn't great however I do have a pretty good beard and chest hair. I'm hoping for roughly 6000 - 7000 grafts from a combination of beard, chest, and scalp which I will always keep very short. I was scheduled to visit Eugenix and was wondering if: if what I wish is viable what clinic is the best for a combination of beard, chest and scalp hair. To be clear, all I really wish for is coverage. I understand that the hair will look really weird if grown out however as the hair will never really grow much longer than 0.5mm if not shorter this doesn't concern me. Please see attached some photos of my current situation. I've had a 2 week break from work so I have grown out my hair which will usually be either shaven or trimmed really low.
  24. I'm absolutely loving the work coming out of Eugenix, I've got my own booking with them later this year and cannot wait. Like you, I'll also be going with no finasteride so I can't wait for your next update. Really starting to come alone btw.
