Even though your donor capacity is key, a good hair surgeon will not ignore the temple area because it is an important part in recreating the hairline. 
When it comes to the shape, there is no option A, B or C... recreating the temple points takes so much more than that.

I also have a question, does the area where the grafts were extracted tan like regular skin?

Normally yes, the patient should be careful with the sun the first 4 to 6 months and then the area will tan like regular skin.
But this will always depend on the result of the previous surgery; meaning that if the scars are too large, the skin damage unfortunately is done.
