  1. The work looks good .. nice n dense ..  but u had alot of native hair in ur midscalp n stuff .. I wonder how they were able to cram in all the new hairs.. usually they would wait till the area becomes bald before they transplant …

im pretty sure ur native hair will fall out soon n just be replaced by the new hair … that’s what happened to me.. I still has some hairs in the forelock .. n they survived after the initial surgery to the hairline n with the native hair n new hair made the front looked full.. but one year later I noticed all those native hairs on the hairline died out n I’m just left with the new hair .. that’s the risk of implanting into an area with native hair already there .  It seems to accelerate the death of ur original hair .. since they were already thinning, n the trauma they suffered during the hairtransplant .. n with new hair competing for blood supply…

do u have picture of ur hair originally ? Like how u usually styled it n stuff.

  2. ur hair is still good .. but yeah when wet u can see where it’s going to thin out eventually ,, don’t deny the situation u gotta research the big 3 ., getting a hairtransplant right now is a bad idea .. see if u can retain that frontal 1/3rd n keep that forelock strong .. before u want to fill in the temples.. u still have fullness in ur overall hair ,. U gotta do ur best to keep that ..

  3. Yep definitely receding front n rear .. with thinning up top.. not much the doctor going to be able to tell u , but to try the big 3 n hopefully it helps slows the progress.. there is nothing else they can do for u.. except maybe look at the densitometer to measure the thickness of ur hair n better able to tell which part is minuturizing.. but u can already tell by the pictures ..

Or they could do a scalp biopsy to see if u have some underlying conditions .. other than that nothing they can do for ya. But profit $1800 ..

steaks n lobsters for  everyone :)

  4. U should go ahead n go with Benham, if u feel comfortable enough with him , then it’s ur choice n money ..

In fact ., I think u should go with him , post an update of ur progress here on this forum to help other members .. that way we can see the results in real time ., mOnth to

month ,, so peeps here can guide u n give u advice in return ..

there is also no shame in changing ur mind either .. I booked with 3 other doctors before going with h&w..  u doing the right thing by interviewing ur doctor..

  5. I blame this kind of perspective from all the ads and publicity for hair transplants out there. With all those pictures with peeps of high norwood ,, all

of sudden have awesome hair .. believe me it ain’t that easy n it’s only achievable by a select few ., that took years n many surgeries to accomplish those results ..

I felt the same way … 5-6k grafts n im

good.. but nah after I had my first hair transplant with hasson for 2500

grafts just to the hairline .. it turned out fine .. but damn I realized right there.. if I were ever to go balder than 5.. I’m gonna be fukked up .. because 2500 grafts just to the hairline n there still don’t seem to be much hair .. there is no way another 4k-6k grafts will ever give me back my fuller hair .. it’s just an illusion so it doesn’t like bald .. but the fullness n density is not even close to half of ur current hair .. so the hairs u have now u should treasure them ..  it don’t look Great n obviously thinning n receding .. but them hairs u got left is still worth about $30-40k worth of hair that u ain’t even trying to retain with meds n stuff .. so  u going to be spending $30-50k just to have the same hair u have now .. if u were to be completely bald right now .

  6. It looks pretty good from where u were ..

i had 2500 grafts just to the hairline .. so ur results are kinda what it’s suppose to be .. all those pics u see people with great outcomes.. it’s very selective pictures , n most they were great growth patients ..

so looks like u got a good enough result where there’s no refund , no top-up.. just gotta hope it grows in more in the next few months .
no worries after awhile u get used to it ,, n won’t worry about the imperfection .. n not worth going in for another surgery .. that’s what happened to me ..

When did you start the minoxidil? Did you have any periods where you stopped and restarted minoxdil? Starting and stopping min causes long shedding periods. I shed for over 3-4 months when I started minoxdil and when I quit the shed was horrible and lasted over 9 months. I am certain it was the minox causing my shedding because I was very stable on fin for 4 years before I started experimenting with min.

You’ve gotta give one medication time to work and see if you’re responding before adding another medication. Constantly changing or adding new medications will induce shedding. I also had a bunch of shedding when I switched from fin to dut as well but it stabilized after some time. Don’t add any more medications or switch from topical min to oral min, you’re gonna introduce another big shed and think fin/dut isn’t working.

Words of wisdom .. i kinda went thru the same thing too ..

  8. Yea definitely insecurity issues.. it’s like a fat person calling another fat person fat .. it makes no sense .. people like this usually go n insult others to deflect attention on themselves .. or to make u feel bad so they can feel better about themselves ..

No offense but this is one of the reason I dont date fat women .. u would think they be nicer to others because they struggling themselves about their looks .. I find this is not case .. they usually are not as socially competent with dealing with others.. they dish out what others have done to them ..

so don’t feel bad,, just stay away from peeps like that .. no use talking sense into them either .. ignorant people don’t understand common sense or courtesy ..

  9. I’m sorry, I still can’t comprehend how a clinic is able to guesstimate 5000 grafts they can extract ..

but end up saying they can’t do none..

who was viewing those pictures ? Just the salesman ? Even a regular person on this forum won’t make a Mistake of 5000 grafts …

I understand if they ended up saying they were wrong n can only do 2000-3000 grafts not 5000… that’s understandable ..

but to make a mistake of 5000 grafts ,, I bet u the surgeon never viewed those pictures then .. just the sales consultant..

who’s to blame here? But yet u want us to say yeah they did a great job by not giving him surgery .. they should of told him that In the first place .. n no it’s not just  a $200 plane trip, vacation time was planned . Time and energy to travel there n months of planning went into planning a surgery for someone .. so please don’t say the clinic did a good thing here .. I call it negligence.

23 year old American here. I am sitting in my hotel room next to HLC. I had 3005 grafts implanted on Wed/Thu. On Wednesday morning, I was instructed to go to breakfast at 7:30 am before the consultation and procedure. At breakfast, I sat with a 39 year old man from France. We chatted in broken English. He told me that he was planning to have 5000 grafts implanted over a period of three days. After breakfast, we both had our consultations. He went first. When he walked out of the room and it was my turn, I could see that he was visibly upset. As I would later find out from the patient coordinator, Ebru, the HLC doctors told him they wouldn’t operate on him because his donor area was too depleted. Sure, it sucks that this man came to Turkey for nothing, but I assure you that Dr. Ozgur and the team of doctors are very professional and run a tight ship—they aren’t here to steal anyone’s money.

This major red flags, why would they quote him 5000 grafts .. then have him pay for his trip n now say they can’t do none ? They should of done their due dilligence n gave him a proper quote then .. if the picture aren’t great they could had him send a video or better pictures.. I be pissed as hek if I was that guy ..

is his donor that fukked up in real life .. than on pictures where they can’t even do 1500-2000 grafts? Since he’s already there.. this is bad practice.  Not a sign of an ethical doctor..

but they ethical enough to do 3000 grafts on a 23 year old ..

  11. Yeah as a patient paying thousands of dollars for a permanent surgery .. u would expect the clinic to do a biopsy , check the density of ur hair ,, n so forth ..

That’s what I expected too ,, when I drove 2 hours to a ht clinic .. hoping they would do those things .. the surgeon spent 15 minutes with me n gave me a quote of how much it would cost ..

so nah , do ur research ,. N don’t be a naive patient .. only ur real doctor will do a biopsy ,, n most clinics don’t even have the tool or want to use the hair diameter thing.. they just take a brief look at ur scalp , n give u 15-30 minutes of their time .. that’s the reality of it ..

    it’s the norm ., unfortunately..
