This patient came to Dr. Arocha because he wanted to restore the thinning in his temporal peaks and hairline. He underwent a 2500 graft FUT procedure, and we wanted to show you some of his early growth. At just four months he already has noticeable improvement, and we look forward to sharing his progress. Including a photo that was taken immediately post-op so you can see graft placement.

In this first stage surgery, the focus was to restore the foundation, including the lateral humps and forelock areas. This has given the patient some styling options including parting on the sides and combing the hair back. Thank you for your observations and comments!

This patient came to Dr. Arocha with severe and advanced male pattern baldness. He was a norwood 7. He underwent a smaller procedure of 2500 grafts (FUT). And, at 8 months, he's excited bout the improvement that he's had - and so are we. As soon as he has a mature result, he plans to come back in for a second procedure. This patient came in for a follow-up visit four years after a 3000 graft FUT procedure. He's very happy with the framing improvement from his first surgery, and he's looking to enhance the front and work in the mid-scalp area, which has gotten thinner over the past four years.

I've seen Dr. Arocha's SMP work in person, and it's difficult to tell that it's SMP even when you are up close!!!

Thanks, Melvin!!! SMP can really work wonders - alone - or in combination with other procedures. 

When this patient came to see Dr. Arocha, he had undergone a previous transplant with a different hair restoration surgeon, which did not produce desirable results. Dr. Arocha took a conservative approach because the patient's donor was not in great shape. He performed one initial 1,000 graft FUE procedure, followed by an SMP procedure later that year to help give the appearance of more coverage. And, about 1.5 years after his first FUE with Dr. Arocha, we performed a second 1000 graft FUE procedure to add additional coverage. 

Before images were taken before he had any work done with Dr. Arocha, but after his procedure with a different surgeon. After images show the result after the SMP and both FUE procedures (and about 9-months after his second 1,000 graft FUE). So, he's still got a bit of growing to do, but we are thrilled to see this result come full circle. It's taken several years, but with a conservative approach, Dr. Arocha was able to get him back to a great spot.

This patient came to Dr. Arocha because he wanted to correct the thinning that he was experiencing in the front third. He had a previous hair transplant procedure prior to coming to Dr. Arocha, and he didn't experience any benefit. The "before" images were taken after his original hair transplant procedure with another surgeon. 

Dr. Arocha decided to do a 2500 graft FUT procedure. The after results were taken 1.5 years after his procedure with Dr. Arocha.

Hi stephcurry, 

Great question. This patient for, example, Doc made a video where he parts the patient's hair and does comb through. Once it's been edited for brevity, I'll post it on our website and Instagram page. He did take a couple of "after" images where the hair was pushed back similar to the "before," but they weren't as clear as the ones I ended up using. But, I'll make it point to include a mixture of both when possible! Thanks for asking.

Happy Friday! I saw some discussion on here last week and you guys were wondering whether or not Dr. Arocha does mega sessions. He does, and in fact, back in the day, we did post some of his mega sessions. Here are a couple for your reference: (4005 mega session, 4056 FUT).

He is not opposed to doing a mega session, but oftentimes, his non-surgical regrowth program can reverse the thinning in the mid-scalp and crown area, saving grafts for the future. Hence, why you see him doing more cases in the 2500-3000 range to frame the face with permanent follicles. 

This patient, for example, benefitted from PRP, high-powered laser cap and low dose loniten. Her after results were 10 months after she started this non-surgical treatmet with Dr. Arocha.

His hair is thin by nature, by he was experiencing some recession in the temporal peaks and throughout the frontal third. He wanted Dr. Arocha to restore his hair with an age appropriate hairline. Doc and team performed a 2000 graft manual FUE procedure. After images were taken 1.5 years after his original procedure.

This patient came to see Dr. Arocha four years ago. He was worried about his advanced receding of the frontal third area. He had a 3000 graft FUT procedure. The after images were taken four years after his procedure. He is taking finasteride to control future progression of hair loss.

This patient had a prior FUT procedure at a different clinic prior to coming to Arocha Hair Restoration. He wanted to enhance the density. Doc decided to do a 2300 graft manual FUE procedure using a .8 mm punch. While these results are still early at 6 months, we hope to update as he comes back in. The "before" photos were taken the morning of his procedure.

Sadly, I checked to see if Doc had any "after" photos with the hair pushed back. He didn't, but will make sure to take one when this patient comes back in for his next follow up. I don't know if this will help or not, but it's a different view. You can see the hair growth coming in around the hairline. 

This patient came to Dr. Arocha to restore his hairline and add density in the frontal area. Doc and his team performed a manual FUE procedure of 1500 graft. He is six months post-op in the after images.
