  1. Thanks @Melvin- Admin and @Steeeve- appreciate you sticking up for our patients who are kind enough to allow us to use their images to provide education to the hair transplant community and those seeking to have potential work done.
  2. It is very rewarding for us when we see patients achieve these results with a minimum number of grafts. You have to consider that an eyebrow takes approximately 500 grafts, and this patient had a 1500 graft FUE procedure. It's all about the artistry. I should also mention the value of the in-person evaluation. There is only so much you can achieve with a virtual consultation. A consultation really requires a comb-through to determine the extent of the loss, which was the case with this patient in his before photos. The after images were taken 8-months following his 1500 graft FUE. 3. Dr. Arocha originally began work on this patient 11 years ago with a 3100 graft FUT procedure. He recently came in for a follow-up, and the transplant still looks great more than a decade later. Before: After:
  4. This patient underwent a 2300 graft FUT hair transplant with Dr. Arocha and team. He is currently on a non-surgical regimen of Propecia and Minoxidil to help halt any future progression of hair loss. After images were taken one year after his transplant. Before Images: After Images:
  5. This patient came in with diffuse thinning throughout his frontal third. Dr. Arocha and his team did a manual 2000 graft FUE. The after images were taken six years after this procedure. He is also on a medical regimen to help prevent the future progression of hair loss. Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After:
  6. This patient underwent three procedures with Dr. Arocha. He had two FUT procedures for a total of 4500 grafts and one 1500 FUE procedure to hide scar and final enhancement. The after images were taken 9 months after his third procedure. Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After:
  7. Mr. Pubeful, Dr. Arocha did not use the ARTAS machine on this patient. In fact, he has not used the ARTAS machine in about eight years.
  8. This patient underwent a 2500 graft FUT procedure with Dr. Arocha. He wanted to address the thinning in the frontal area. The temporal area was completely devoid of hair and the hairline was very thin. He and Dr. Arocha worked to create a design that would give him the hairline he desired, as well as add density in the thinning areas. After images were taken four years post-transplant, which also speaks to the longevity of a hair transplant. (The backgrounds are a different color because Dr. Arocha switched up his studio during the course of this patient's hair transplant journey). 9. This gentleman in his 30s with Norwood III recessions underwent 2250 FUT procedure. He came in for his one-year follow up. Remember, Dr. Arocha doesn't typically trim the hair - because he works within your existing hair. In this case, he did trim the hair so you can see graft placement in the post-operative image. 10. Patient presented with a large anterior fringe crown pattern. He elected to have a 2000 FUE procedure. We used a tiny .8 mm punch for no visible detection of scarring. The post-op results are at one year. We've also included an image taken immediately post-op to show the graft placement. Patient is very happy with his new, rejuvenated look. 11. This patient initially came to us not wanting a hair transplant despite the amount of hair loss that he was experiencing on top. Dr. Arocha recommended that he try a regimen of medical therapies to help halt progression of hair loss. Several years later, the patient decided to move forward with an FUE procedure. Our team did a 2700 graft FUE procedure using the Trevillini Mamba. He also received PRP at the time of the procedure. After images were taken 9 months following his transplant. 12. Hi Goli Goli - great question. This patient did *not* have any previous transplant done prior to coming to Dr. Arocha. He has what is called a persistent anterior fringe.
  13. This patient came to see Dr. Arocha to fix the hair loss he was experiencing in the hairline/frontal third. He and Dr. Arocha opted for a 2000 graft FUE procedure for this particular transplant. When we saw him back at 11 months post-op, he had a new look, with some additional growing to look forward to as his result continues to mature. Scroll down for a post-op image of the donor area. 14. Thank you, Dr. Chaudhry. Making sure that our transplants are undetectable is one of our primary goals. We want our transplants to look "as natural as nature itself."
  15. This patient came to Dr. Arocha to address his hairline. He had lost everything from the hairline to the crown. Dr. Arocha and team performed a 2877 FUT procedure, with the main focus to add density back to his hairline, frontal and mid scalp areas. The after images were taken 9 months after his procedure. 16. Thanks for understanding! And, I'll be sure to provide the refreshed images when we have them. Appreciate you taking the time to view this particular case and provide feedback.
  17. Hi there, jwolfe, We are definitely not trying to obscure the final result in any way. If you look at our post history, our clinic does not alter the images beyond cropping - or concealing a patient's PHI. In this case, Dr. Arocha did use an iPhone to capture the after result .... in portrait mode. So, when this patient comes in for his next surgery, I've asked doc to take his pre-operative images using the Nikon. But, this is not an intentional attempt to conceal - or hide behind - any of the "after" images whatsoever.
  18. MrMane, Dr. Arocha is a much better hair transplant surgeon than a photographer. We do have this matching "after" view, which @duckling attached in his reply to you. As another user pointed out, Dr. Arocha does have an in-office photo studio dedicated to his patients - in some instances, he does use an iPhone to document before and after images. In this case, portrait mode was used - but not in a deliberate attempt to "obscure results." In fact, our clinic goes out of the way to *not* alter images beyond cropping/protecting PHI so you get the real deal. I saw another question about whether or not the crown was worked on. Dr. Arocha did not touch the crown during this particular procedure. This patient is also not currently on a medical regimen. On a happy note, when this patient comes back in for his second procedure, which is scheduled for the near future, I will ask that Dr. Arocha take his pre-operative photos with his Nikon camera instead of the iPhone and am happy to come back to provide an update with the Nikon images.
  19. Good question! Meds were recommended. In fact, Dr. Arocha recommends Finasteride, Minoxidil, PRP and Laser for every patient. However, this particular patient has not started any meds.
