  1. I have had an HT done already. I decided to shave my head today and i see lots of gaps where the follicles used to be. They are not hypopigmented. They are gaps where the follicles have been removed. I'm one month post-op. Does it get better over time (i.e. scar contracts)? Or does what i see at one month post op = my final result? Thanks
  2. Sorry to push up an old thread, but aside from SMP, is there another option for victims of this? I have similar gaps where follicles were taken out after FUE. I have fair skin, coarse dark hair. It shows very obviously where the follicles were taken. Has anyone had experience with taking hair from elsewhere on the body and transplanting to the scalp? I feel like I just need some follicles there to take up the spaces so that it isn't obvious that a FUE was done.
  3. Amazing. Glad there's been good results. Anyone else? Is anyone able to share some pictures?
  4. Sorry to hear you had to go through chemo BadBeat. I hope you're doing better these days. Do you happen to have any pictures of the area you could share? If you don't want to, thats totally understandable.
  5. Has anyone razor (bic) shaved their head after an FUE procedure? We always hear the horror stories of FUE scarring. Has anyone successfully had an FUE without any visible scarring upon shaving? I've heard success stories from old forum posts, but have never seen anything. I don't mean going down to a 0 guard. I mean a complete razor shave.
  6. Anyone have any idea? I've heard he's a great doctor, but I am worried about his results and his donor areas. I don't want any scarring in my donor.
  7. If a hair follicle is dormant and it gets transected but not extracted, does that hair grow back?
  8. With an FUE, once a follicle removed, I understand the follicle is gone and no hair will grow there. However, ~10-20% of follicles are dormant at any given time. Thus, can these dormant follicles eventually wake up and grow where hair was removed? I was wondering if this would help mask the scars from FUE.
  9. Hi all, I'm interested in getting an FUE procedure to fill in temples and sideburns, and maybe add to my beard as well. I've seen great results from Dr. Jerry Wong but they've all been FUT. I was wondering if anyone has had an FUE with him, or knows of his track record with FUE. I know Hasson and Wong were late to offer FUE, but they say It's because they weren't ready to do so until recently
