1. phil, your looking good! I really cant wait to see your results in a few more months....I,m sure you will be posting some azazing result with that amount of graphs and considering who placed them there for ya!

2. comb, your hair really does look amazing! you are a perfect example of what can be acheived with todays transplants. with the level of baldness you had to the transformation we see now will be a great inspiration to many of guys on here!
3. jon breese, i definitely considered fue. i went with Dr. Feller' philosophy of anyone needing over 1000 graphs would probaly be better of with stip. Also after sending in my initial pictures to potential clinics I thought I would be needing a few more graphs 1800-2000. I was planning ahead for any future hair loss I might have enabling me to have more graphs. If in a few years my hair remains unchanged or I have limited loss I might have some fue work done to address the loss or maybe close in my temples some. If it gets much worse I can utilize more donor via strip again.
4. Guys thanks for the replys! Bills, thank you for placing the link up for me it would have taken me forever to figure that out! I agree some of the before and the day after pics are terrible. Thankfully I figured out how to use the close up feature on my camera so the pics should continue to look better. I will definitely try to keep my blog updated!
5. Hey Guys, I wanted to Start a web blog documenting my HT and hope it helps someone the way everyone that has taken the time to post results has helped me. I'm going to try and post a link to my blog but if that does not work I hope you can just click on my username and get to my site from there! thanks....bighosedragger
6. I just had my ht HT at Shapiro Medical Group and they told me not to use baby shampoo. They said it contained chemicals that helped it not to cause tears. They recomended any normal shampoo with no conditioners or volumizers. I used normal Panteen.
7. Emperor, was wondering if you had visited the site and listened to the interview? would love to know your thoughts. also i did see the same acell on 60 minutes of dateline...not sure which one and althought they never mention hair or hair cloning what they did talk about was amazing, like growing back fingers, ears, hands, heart valves! Also Dr.Cooley who is a well respected dr. does mention for the first time anything about hair. just wanted to know yours or anyone elses thoughts!
8. go to (promotional link removed) its on the front home page. you are correct in the fact it reapairs scars and hair follicles but if you listen it seems they have made the break thru on actually being able to clone or reproduce follicles. let me know what you think and if you know the rules or how to....maybe repost this info for this site. i just wanted to get the info out on this forum! thanks
9. Olly, i would agree with hairthere that 1000 graphs would not be enough. Now i am no professional on this and there are many on this site that are definitely more knowledgable than myself, but i have been researching on this site and others for years and have gained much information! these guys have great reconmondations and they were very important with my decision to go to Dr. Pual Shapiro.I would advise you to look at many more pictures with numerous Drs.that resemble your hair loss pattern. This site is an essential tool if you choose to use it!
10. I read about this on another site and also they had something on 60 minutes.....they were doing some amazing things with it. I think it was Dr. Cooley that was working on the hair portion with ACell. It seems very promising and looks like hair cloining is actually here.
11. aaron....looks like your healing well and you can see the growth in your 4 month pics! i was wondering two things. first did you choose to shave down or did dr. paul require you to? also how did workin out effect you? i ask both because i work out daily? i guess im also lucky in the fact that im am just now at 38 years old having a problem covering my receeding temples. which is why i dont really want to shave down....it seems to take forever even for your non trasplanted hair to regrow....which i do not want to deal with. I believe dr. pual is giving me the option of shaving or not. I am lucky enough to have a month off work to recover. p.s. im scheduled with dr. paul shapiro jan 4th 2010!
12. lost and done.....i will be at dr. shapiros on the 4th and the 5th. Im getting a little anxious! what day will you be in the area?
