Will the Coronavirus Affect The Hair Transplant Industry?
- 1
-
Still super early but I’m sure you will have a great result.
-
Translation: be very careful with this doctor, he’s the worse and I’m not the only one effected.
-
Finasteride is only recommended for men above the age of 18 so I’d wait before taking that. If it’s really bothering you try micro-needling and Minoxidil until your old enough.
-
Do you have immediate post op pics so we can see graft placement .. it looks like you only had a receding hairline .. was there more loss behind it ?

How do u know if your grafts are fragile or not before having a transplant ?
That’s a good question. My guess is if youR doing fue and the doctor notices that the quality of the grafts being extracted are not looking good he should stop and give that patient an alternative (fut) or tell me him that it’s unethical to continue ( most doctors will continue because of $) unless they truly care about their patient.

Out of curiosity, do you think FUT is more advisable for guys with fine hair?
I don’t have fine hair according to my doctor, but he did mention that my grafts were more frágil. Which is probably why my first fue procedure had some gaps from grafts that didn’t survive. In my opinion fut caters to all types of hair as far as safely extracting them from the donor. Fue is more tedious on some people.

I take 1mg m/t/w and I had testicle pain for about a week and it went away. I’m still taking it about to hit 4 months
-
I agree this looks awesome

I can relate 💯 .. I’m almost at 4 months and I had existing hair before hand so it is very difficult to notice any new hairs. I was checking everyday and realized that it was driving me crazy lol so I’m trying not to look so often. im sure things will start to change soon enough good luck !

How’s that scar looking tbcruz?
Hey what’s up irry88, it’s not to bad 2 be honest deff still have shock loss tho but it’s recovering my hair is long enough in the back that it’s covered completely. I was going to do a 3 month update but the change was so subtle that I’m going to skip it and do a 16 weeks update instead. I’ll deff post some scar pics. How’s everything going with you ?

Thanks man! I appreciate it!!
I’m, honestly, still not sure when I’ll proceed. I still haven’t been able to reach out to Dr Arocha. I had the idea that I would wait until the pandemic started to slow a bit but now it’s looking like that’s pretty far off. I was also dealing with not having a job but I just started one yesterday working for a call center in a hospital. That almost threw a wrench into things.
When I figure it out I’ll let the forum know. I’m looking forward to it.
Yea I hear you man, things are deff tough for a lot of people around the world because of this b/s. It’s kinda sad to be honest.. economy was blooming and now it’s in the shit and millions of people are effected. Thanks for the response and looking forward to it. Good luck

The smp work looks very good and I’m impressed how well it covered the scars on the back of your head. I think you look good with smp tbh. But if you really want hair I think eugenix is a great clinic to achieve what you want. They seem to be doing good work with higher Norwood’s because of their experience with body hair. If you go through with this would you copy the smp outline you have or go lower? I think your result will look very good because of the smp as well it will help give the illusion of density!! Good luck

I been meaning to comment on your progress Steve and I kept forgetting! It looks amazing man you must be thrilled .. any idea when you’ll be going to do the crown and touching everything up ? And what the game plan is ?

I didn´t mean 8000+ grafts, there are plenty of videos that show men who are almost bald, then get one FUE with 4000 - 5000 grafts and have a full head of hair one year later.
Don’t go into surgery thinking of best case scenarios on YouTube you will most likely be disappointed.
look at like 10-15 cases on here with similar hair characteristics and level of lose and if you would be happy with those outcomes any of them then have surgery if you wouldn’t be happy with more than half than don’t have surgery.

Because of the scar?
I see many people with shaven head and have a scar which means the HT didn't work. At least with FUE, you have a bald head without scar.
You’ll have a bald head with thousands of scars instead that’s if the ht didn’t work but we’re all praying it will work regardless fue or fut lol

Looks good man !
