Congratulations on choosing a great doctor. Good luck with everything.

Wow! I agree with Spanker...very impressive from where he started from and where he is now
-
Wow, that is a lot of grafts at once. This is a great result. This guy looks 10x better. I’m sure he’s thrilled.

Congratulations...you have obviously done your research because if I had to pick 3 doctors, it would be the 3 you mentioned. Good luck and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Wow, that’s awesome that you are able to buzz your hair that short with no signs of scarring. No matter what happens down the road, you always will be able to buzz it down short and look good. The worst days are behind you. I would just keep it short until the growth starts. You look good with a buzzed haircut and have a good head shape for it. I can’t wait to see your pictures at 6 months You made a great decision to go to Dr. Konior. Congratulations

Everything looks really good. You seemed like you had good hair before your transplant. Your hairline was just higher and you lacked temple points. Everything now blends in great with your native hair and looks excellent. How does you donor area look? Any pics?

Anyone who is losing their hair is bothered by it and if they say they are not, they are full of crap! Not many people have the guts to do something about it and you did so you should feel proud. You look great and I am glad to hear that this has improved your quality of life.

You are looking great. Congratulations!

Everything appears very natural and that is a great scar. You have came a long way from where you started and look much younger. Going to a top notch doctor really helps. Congratulations!

Drive up to Charlotte and visit Dr. Cooley.

Good luck man! I think you are making the right decision. You are correct in saying that you are very lucky to have such a talented surgeon right in your back yard. Everything that I have seen and heard on Dr. Cooley has been impressive.

As good as it gets! Congrats

Dr. Konior is in Chicago. I don't think you will find anyone better anywhere. A hair transplant is not something you want to bargain shop for. Go to whoever you feel is the best even if it costs more. Living with a bad/unnatural hair transplant result is WAY worse than balding naturally. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

I get a 3 month supply of fin at Costco for about $22.00 total. Aurobindo is the manufacturer. I have been on generic for about 3 years. I was on the original Propecia for several years before I switched to generic. I have not noticed any difference and I have had a couple different doctors tell me there is no difference.

This is very comforting to see for someone who recently had a similar type procedure. Everyone hopes for results that look like this and that continue to look great 10+ years later.
-
He looks great and I don't think an Fut scar gets much better than that. Congrats

Dr. Cooley in Charlotte, North Carolina is one of the best in the US in my opinion. I would definitely visit his clinic and have a consultation to discuss things if I were looking for an east coast area doctor. You are lucky to have a great doctor in your home state. Good luck with everything.

Wow, very impressive result...I'm sure this guy is thrilled as he should be

Jean, Dr. Gabel is one of the top doctors in the USA in my opinion. No one is begging anyone to do anything. I'm trying to help people out and steer them in the right direction and I believe Dr. Gabel is "the right direction." If you don't feel this way then that is your opinion. I'm sorry but I do not believe this story based on Dt. Gabel's track, my past experience correspondence with his clinic, and the lack of posts from the forum member (2). If it is true, I apologize to the poster.

I didn't mean that when you are 34 that hairloss would not bother you. I meant that when you are 34, you won't be the only one in your circle of friends that is experiencing hairloss. I have been through it at age 20 so I know first hand how devastating it is at that age. Hairloss sucks at any age but when you are in your low 20s it's a whole new level of shittyness in my opinion.

Agree...especially when their only 2 posts on this forum were on this topic...maybe one of Gabel's regional competitors is trying to drum up more business

If you are willing to stay conservative and take finasteride for life then I feel you could have surgery and improve things but you will most likely need another surgery or 2 in the future. A lot just depends on how bad it bothers you. I started losing my hair early and I know how bad it sucks becase no one your age is experiencing it. 10 years from now, when you are 34 will not be the case.
