Beautiful result!

Have you been on finasteride the entire time? I don't think you look that bad. I'm sure a good surgeon could help you out.
-
Are you still on Finasteride? That is very odd that you were fine for 15 years but then rapidly lost hair in a 3 month period. Maybe it was just a shedding period that everyone gets from time to time. The quality of the pictures isn't great but from what I see, you are not in bad shape and nothing looks unnatural. Your hairline appears to be in the correct location. If it is bothering you, I personally would opt for another FUT. Things have improved a lot in the past 15 years. Your scar may end up being better this time around with the right doctor.

That is a nice improvement from a month ago. Everything is looking really good. You have came a long way from where you started already. Congratulations!
-
Very good result...congrats to this patient and to Dr Cooley. This looks completely natural.
-
I agree with Spanker. You have come a long way and look great in my opinion. Noone would be able to tell that you had a transplant. If you look normal/natural I say leave it alone.

The hair transplant industry is truly like the Wild West. If you don't do your research and go to someone good, you can really screw up your life. It's sad that this crap still goes on.
-
I am not an expert. Go see a few top doctors and listen to them. Your donor hair does not look good to me in your last picture and if you are not on finasteride it will likely get worse. That is why I said that I would be hesitant. You mentioned that there are no good doctors in your area. I would put Dr. Gabel's results up against anyone and he is in Oregon.
-
My advice would be to give finasteride a try for a few months. If you cannot tolerate it then I would be hesitant to pull the trigger at your age/condition.

This is truly a home run. Your results look great. This is why you do your research and have an elite surgeon perform your surgery. Congrats!

Very natural result...congrats to this patient and to Dr Gabel

You are looking very good at the 7 month mark. This is a very natural looking result. Congratulations to you and Dr. Alexander.

Congratulations to you on your outcome and to Dr Rahal. Your result looks great. I agree with your advice that if you do this, you need to go to a top notch doctor. This is not a procedure that you want to bargain shop for or go to a doctor because they are located close to you. Living with a poor hair transplant result is much worse than being bald. Do your research! In my opinion, this forum is the best place in the world to research hair transplants and who to go to and it has helped many people like yourself make great decisions.

Dr. Nadimi is in Chicago

I think you look good with the buzzed look similar to what your 2 week post op hair length was and it sounds like you can pull it off without noticeable scarring showing. I feel like that look/hair length fits you well. Even if your crown is a little thin, I feel like it will be less noticeable when the rest of your hair is short. You are looking great for 5 weeks. Congrats

That's a very impressive overall result. The scar is excellent. Congrats

The hairline that is drawn in with the neon marker in one of your pictures seems way too low. It would take a bunch of grafts to adequately fill in that area and you most likely would not have enough donor for your mid scale/crown area if you lose that. I would opt for a much more conservative hairline.
-
This is a really nice improvement. Congratulations to Dr. Vories and this patient.
-
Congratulations! That is a big time improvement. Dr. Rahal produces a lot of very nice results that get posted on here.

Yes, any hair transplant surgeon should be able to write you a scrip for finasteride if they feel you would benefit from it and you wish to take it.

That is great coverage for 3100 grafts. There aren't too many guys out there at age 53 with hair that looks this good. Dr. Konior consistently produces great/natural results and his post op pictures are as clean as any I have seen. Congratulations to this patient and to Dr. Konior and his staff.

If you are 24 and say if you had the same hair at 35 you would say F it and shave it off then I personally would just save your $ and shave it now. It will be a life long battle for you and honestly you have lost a lot of hair for being 24. If you do decide to do something, do your research with finding a top doctor and stay very conservative with the hairline location. Just remember, once you have surgery there is no going back.
