  1. I still have a large forehead, but anythings better than before. Everythings going well so far, i.constantly fear damaging the grafts and donor site, really want the best results... scared of sleeping sometimes too lol
  2. The whole thing took about 7 hours and it was just phenomenal. Dr. Path was GREAT and his staff was GREAT! Im so happy i finally got this done, i owe them my upmost gratitude and appreciation. Dr. Path did everything from the calculations to the cutting, his nurses did the insertion of grafts. I was a little iffy about them doing the grafta, but my mind was at ease, his nurses were more than capable of doing it. I doubt an establishment such as Dr. Path would jeopardize their reputation by having incompetent nurses. I had 2,383 grafts placed. Im not too sure how ill be able to sleep though... i took pain meds, and all that remains is a constant sting in the donor area. Other than that im so happy with the results, cant wait for results to come in. It might not have been lowered to as much as i wanted, but any lowering is better than none.
  3. Hello all! I will be going under the knife tomorrow with Dr. Pathomvanich to hopefully lower my hairline by at least 1.5cm... my feelings include excitement and fear... but im happy im finally doing something about my insecurity... I chose Dr. Path because hes one of the best FUT in the world, and really affordable... however ive noticed his reviews and results have slimmed down in the past 5 years. Hope he still has the magic touch. I trust that i am in good hands, and ive never seen any bad results from him. I do wish i had gone with FUE, only because i have a virgin scalp and im pretty young. But its too late now... what does concern me is the scar on the back of my head, if it does bother me too much, i could always get grafts placed into it right? If anybody has any tips or advice for post op care, id really appreciate it. Thank you for reading this, i hope all goes well.
  4. Hi, i soon will get 1800 grafts done to lower my hairline by around 1.5cm... i was hoping for 2cm to achieve the optimal symmetry(6cm, same distance from eyebrows to nose) but now im settling on anything , while also keeping in mind to conserve as much donor hair i have, on the off chance that i might lose hair... is my goal realistic? Could be better? Could be smaller? Still a large forehead? I was hoping if anyone could suggest a type or hairline that would best suit me? Anything thats flexible with all hair styles? Slicked back? Short? Long? Pretty excited to finally be able to broaden my hairstyles:D Thank you for your time and help!
  5. Ah, how is your scar now? Could we see a pic of that?
  6. hey! great results, how much was the grafts per cm2? 30?40?50?
  7. How are you and your results?

  8. Hey how are your results so far? With dr nader?

  9. HEY how was your procedure with Dr. Nader?

  10. How are your results so far?

  11. Oh god, so i can schedule with Dr. Pathomvanich for next month!! What should i do guys? What questions should i ask?(i asked all i could think of already...) i will continue to do research and look at every video, picture, testimony, before and after' do you guys think he can deliver what i desire? He offers a great price and says i need only 1800.
  12. I am unsure about what method to use... i want to do FUT because it yeilds the most grafts, however i heard it doesnt look natural because you are not able to seperate large grafts into individual ones, which makes it look pluggy, bunched up, not natural.... I am looking for results like these that were done to someone who only had their hairline lowered. It gives me hope that it might all be possible.
  13. eeeh im 100% sure i want to get this done asap, ive done a lot of research and i accept all risk that come with it(the risk is if i go to norwood7 bald and i run out of donor hairs, etc) i am fully aware of them all... but theres the chance where i might not go bald at all....(ive really had this hairline my whole life, and i have thinning in that corner only because i constnstly pull at it with the hairstyle i use to disguise my forehead) maybe im just in denial or maybe im not... but id rather get this done now asap instead of waiting, becuz if i don't go bald later, ill be upset i didn't get itdone sooner... n if i do, i'll take care of it as it comes. Again, i appreciate all your comments, concerns, criticism and advice. I welcome them all greatly! And yes i have noticed HT in ny is super expensive... im willing to tranvel to other drs including Dr. Path and Dr. Nader. Here is a picture of my forehead with measurements.
  14. Thank you all for your concerns. I'll definitely check out my options for getting my scalp looked at, any suggestions where i can in NY? and i have to get this done, i cant wait anymore... im still stingy that itll take a year for final results.
  15. where could i find your first HT post op review?

  16. haha everybody says the same, but its true, ive always had this huge forehead, and nobody in my family has hair loss... ofcourse i might still get it later in life or might not *knock on wood* i am not taking any medications.
  17. Dear friends, I am in need of your advice and experience. I do not have hair loss... however i do have a large forehead. Ive struggled with this my whole life and i decided i want to do something about it. I looked into the hairline lowering/forehead reduction procedure for a couple years, but i recently came to the conclusion that its too risky, not only would i be at risk of hair loss in the future, but complications during the procedure are much higher(ive read stories where people lost all their hair) So now im more inclined to go with hair transplants. The only worry i have is that the density wont be enough and youll be able to see a difference on my forehead. One doctor that i was really interested in was Dr. Huebner, he is extremely nice and affordable. But idk, i need to look at all my options and compare. Is it possible to get this done? Ive spoken with a number of doctors so far and done tonssss of research. But i want to hear from the people themselves. Can anybody recommend me a doctor that can achieve this? How was your experience? Does your hairline look natural? Tightly compact? I live in NY, but i am willing to travel. My budget is minimal... looking for something around 8,000, that is as much as i saved up at this point in my life. Thank you so much for your time and attention, i appreciate all your help.
