  1. I realized I never attached my donor area pics. I may need some future HT's as the hair loss progresses when this might come handy Attaching some of the pics.
  2. I hope that too. I will post my 5 month full update soon which I am due in 10 days.
  3. Hang in there mate. And you are right, there will be a lot of excruciating moments in between, specially in between 3-6 months where you constantly have second thoughts about your surgery. Patience is the key and wish you the best. Keep updating
  4. Thank you Spanker for your honest feedback I am not too worried until 6 months and I know that changes will be much seen evidently after that. Can you also elaborate what do you mean by hair caliber?
  5. Thanks for the feedback Gudy, I am just thinking about the parts behind the hairline where the growth is fairly slow. But I guess, I should sitting tight until 6 months.
  6. Can't believe it is more than 4 months already. This has been such an up/down hill journey that most of the times it left me with skeptical views. My every day's agenda included gawking at those transplanted hair thinking if those prospective hairs will grow or not. Recently I have been a little bit sanguine that things are moving in proper directions. I am seeing some growth, but I am waiting for the density and more hairs to come. [The areas behind the hairline are a little sparse, which is kind of expected as the experts pointed out that they will grow slow[/u][/i]. I am posting the pictures, you guys can be the judge. The donor area is healed pretty well. Medicines: Finasteride 1mg every day Minoxidil 5 % every day Biotin 10Mg every day I have been playing badminton, running and doing some handstands which I think can improve blood circulation, but again that is just my personal opinion. let me know your honest feedbacks/comments about this. Also if you want me to post pictures in some other angles then do let me know as well. I have tried my best to make the collages for a better comparison Happy growing Baldies
  7. It should be all uphill from now. From my experience, even I experienced less growth behind the hairline as compared to the hairline grafts. Maybe the experts can clarify the science behind that. I also just completed my 4 months. You should be seeing the grafts showering in soon Happy growing
  8. Hey baldlivesmatter, good to hear from you. Are you talking about the close up shot? I am having random sprouting , not enough to make any cosmetic difference, but helps keep the good vibes I saw your thread, did not see any updates after 2 months (which looked good). Hope you are also sailing towards an "all hair" boat
  9. A quick small update, Seeing day by day progress, and hoping to get some good coverage in the coming months. Rest of my regime remains the same , Happy growing
  10. Thank you David, Now I have started to see new hair on the centers as well. They are so random lol. I really hope next couple of months turn out to be golden for me
  11. Thank you for your words Ernie, I know what you are saying and not to analyze, but you end up looking into the mirror every now and then. I have started to see quite some new hair starting to sprout, hopefully all will be uphill after this. I will be turning to month 3 in 4 days. Will post an update on that.
  12. Just a quick 2.5 months update. I am a little shy from 3 months. I can see some growth and new hair started sprouting but here and there and it's funny to look at lol. I am still lingering around the query of whether the frontal center hair growth is a little late than the sides? I am seeing tons of hair more on the sides than central, well most of them did not shed at the first place. Happy growing baldies
  13. Work looks nice! Hang on there now Now that shedding is started that initial illusion will wear out. Welcome to the ugly country of duckling
  14. Experts, I am noticing more growth on my sides than the centers? though I am seeing some tiny growth here and there and I am just at 2.5 months. But just curious to know if centres have slow growth as compared to sides, since I know for sure that is the case for crown, that it has a slow rate of growth as compared to other regions.
  15. Hey Slush, great words mate. I agree that as much as motivation and positivity you want in your life after HT, you got to keep your feet on the grounds and swallow hard truths as well. I see your HT done recently as well, the work looks great and I wish you a happy and speedy growing Cheers
  16. Hey, The process is excruciatingly slow, but you got to hang on ! I guess you can use any neck pillow as long as it supports your neck in a way that you don't accidentally roll on your grafts, since we don't have control when dreaming in sleep I used this one https://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Original-Bones-CollarBone-Travel-Pillow/8084325/product.html Good luck
  17. Woah congratulations on a great result mate What is the estimated price per graft ? Also what are the financing options available ? Thanks http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185697-2135-frontal-grafts-dr-bhatti-24-th-dec-2016-a-3.html
  18. Any particular reason you think it is slow? Sure I will update this thread every month or so. Initial days I was very careful and slept in upright position. I used a travel pillow to make sure I don't sleep on my grafts. I would advise start practicing sleeping upright, atleast 3-4 days after HT you will need that. Also sleeping pillow is your buddy
  19. Hey Ernie, were you a regular smoker mate ? I smoke "very" occasionally. Good to hear that your results were not deterred by that. Also I looked at your results, they look stellar. Congratulations, they makes you so happy. Cheers
  20. Hey Harin, Thanks for the note, I was having a single cigarette occasionally on saturdays, but now stopped just to be on a safer side. Even I hope the results are going to be really good, just keeping the fingers crossed.
  21. Hello Dolph, "Words of wisdom" I must say, since this is so relatable. This is so true that you tend to get impatient over 2-4 months. I am definitely documenting and taking pictures regularly. Senior people have advised me not to look at the mirror till 4-5 months, but it is so hard not to when you go to shower or restroom. I eventually end up standing in front of mirror and counting if any growth is there , that is silly but normal human persona is to be curious often. I think you will start to see some growth at around month 3. I really hope, I am seeing some growth but those tiny random hairs here and there rather look funny As a footnote on smoking,.. stop right now. I'm in my late 40s and my skin looks a lot better than my peers my age who smoke. It is a waste of money and you are ruining your health and looks over time. I know it is really harmful, even if I am doing it, is at a very less frequency. (one cigarette on saturday) but now I have refrained from that as well as from drinking.
  22. Hello guys, Posting my 2 month pics. Hope everyone's doing well. Can't believe it is more than 2 months already Transplanted side :Hairs are growing slowly, atleast that is what I feel. I have some short hair, but I am unable to figure out if these are the new hair that are popping out. I have clicked some good and more quantity of pics this time so you guys can guage more. Temples of one side seems still intact. Maybe you guys can comment on that ? Donor side : There is some redness in the donor area, that is it is not completely healed but Native hair: I think I don't have much shock loss and they are growing at a normal pace now. Medications : I have been taking 1mg finasteride by Cipla and Biotin and applying 5 % minoxidil by Dr.Reddy's twice a day. I have also been applying JnJ's baby oil on it every day after shower. Apart from that I have started playing Badminton again(sweating) in a full flow and running on a good note. I have also been doing some inversion exercises to regulate more blood flow(I am not putting any pressure on the head). Social life: I have started drinking occasionally on the weekends not too much though. I might have smoked a few cigarettes here and there but never too much. (3 cigarettes per two weeks on an average) Feel free to ask me any questions or give your honest opinions. Question: 1)How do you feel about hair, since I am not able to figure out the difference if new hairs are popping out or no? 2)Do you feel I am early in the process of growing hair or late? Any honest opinion and advise would help. Thank you so much in anticipation for reading this out. Happy growing Cheers guys
  23. Hey Raks, I am getting messages from other people on the forum. Maybe you want to login and try again ? I am happy to answer all your queries.
  24. Thanks Spanker and hsrp10 for your honest opinions. I really appreciate it. I am very positive about my results and even in my ugly duckling I am very hopeful. I think your positive attitude is what makes you feel like a winner. Spot on California. I think what you said about unbiased comment and responsibility is very true. You and Shera are being very helpful in entertaining even my mundane doubts. Thanks for taking your time out and writing here In the night however, I tend to get this tingling sensations on my planted area. It's feels like the planted grafts are dancing beneath . has any experienced the same? Also I will keep updating if I start noticing any changes, otherwise I would be posting the same photos again
