  1. From the reply I had asked who was doing it and they said Dr oztan and 2 other Drs he did name them they say they have been working like this since 8 years I think. I'm very tempted they seem the most ethical one I've had replys back off from the information I've gathered I take it manual fue is better results? They are doing my 2600 grafts over 2 days. They charge 2.7 euro per graft so still a lot cheaper than Belgium. The other Dr is Keser I'm interested in but at 3.5 euro too much for me
  2. hi darren im in the same boat as you , glad you had ggod comms with him who was your contact fikret? , i found it slow which worried me , the only thing that put me off is that on here some guys had a tech / assistant do the extractions which on his site he clearly states he does them . i have had a response that he will do all mine . the other place im interested in id the hairlineclinic dr oztan , seems very ethical , one patient , 3 drs manual fur bit dearer 2.7 euro per graft but sounds very good.
  3. I must say this is very disappointing, hyperhair had his fue done a few days ago his thread is here FUE 4450 (Including 200 in scar) Dr.Resul Yaman - Forum By and for Hair Loss Patients he mentions someone named aly doing the extractions . even though he says hes experienced its still misleading . i was considering dr yaman because from his clinic it In my consultation it states he does all the extractions and incisions and planning the techs only do the implants but from patients on here this is not the case . Its very off putting with so many clinics doing this , and i must say you lose trust . if you are quoted something and fly out 4 hours surely you should at least get what you have paid for and been quoted for . I was just about to book my flight  never mind the search goes on sivy
  4. goodfor you hyperhair hope al grows well could i ask did dr yaman do all of the extractions and incisions or did the techs do some . thanks sivy
  5. hi dr yaman could you clarify what has been stated by toni in the previous post please, do you do the extractions yourself or do the technicians do it under your supervision as your assistant has stated. Im considering booking with you and very interested in your response thanks sivy
  6. That's the thing when you get to a certain price bracket then turkeys out may as well have a shorter flight to Belgium. The only thing at the moment stopping me booking with yaman is the poor response from them, it doesn't instill confidence You are right my mistake I've looked up so many I got mixed up with the names it's Dr oztan I was talking about does it all by manual punch, very ethical clinic but expensive Sivy
  7. well the top one ernie mentioned quoted 8000 uk for 3500 grafts the next expensive is d same number for 5000 uk then it gets to the others they say around 3000 grafts for between 1800 cheapest (all tech work) to 2500 -2800 for the other drs who say they do all the incisions techs do some extraction and implants but then the top money guys do this too i believe whilst I do agree that the surgeon makes a big difference I do not believe that it everything . Ive worked in surgery for 27 years and worked with many different consultants, some perform better than others but other factors come into play like how the patient heals , how the body reacts to the surgical trauma , everyone is different hence different experiences. so a surgeon doing the same procedure i do wonder if it really warrants the money at the top end of the scale ? . I definitely would not go to a tech clinic or the cheapest place , but i would consider a cheaper surgeon , with good results , and ethics. But there lies the problem getting honest reviews and feedback because even forums have there motives and some reviewers are on an agenda , its hard work . super dudeo dr oguzoglu has brilliant results outside of this forum only uses manual punch , and max of 1500 grafts per day with all drs but he is 2.7 euro per graft but maybe worth it . yaman and demisroy im keenly keeping an eye on demisroys clinic has responded better so far but should you judge just on that , i dont think so. let me know how you get on we can share thoughts, sivy
  8. Hi hyperhsir Which surgeon sre you using, and what happened before?? With who. Good luck with your experience hope all goes well keep us updated Sivy
  9. Hi all I am 50 and have a norwood 3 which seems to have slowed the last 10 years , i have a good donor site so i am interested in a fue. Im in the uk and the prices here are astronomical ,which im sure dosnt always equate to better results. Ive chosen turkey for price and locality but choosing the right surgeon is challenging. Ive approached quite a few and had feedback , i know most will recommend erdogan , dognay but they almost are as expensive as the uk. Im not looking for cheap clinics where techs do everything im aiming for value for money with a decent mid priced surgeon. so far ive nailed it down to 1. dr yaman seems to hav good results but whats put me off islack of communication , very slow response so post op would be worrying. 2. dr demisroy , again seems to have good results on here hes a bit more expensive but so far good comms 3. dr oguzoglu seems to have good reviews away from this site not sure though? all these doctors all seem to offer to do a percentage of the extractions , all the incisions and the rest of the stuff like design , anaesthetics etc. now im not sure how much more the more expensive surgeons do in the way of techs but if anyone has any help/advice they can give or have any other suggestions for surgeons then id be very grateful . but i do realise its a minefield. sivy
  10. well sent 2 emails over the last 2 days to finalize my agenda before i book the flight and still no reply , this puts me off when you need confidence in the people you are dealing with when travelling abroad. I like you like the look of his feedback but lack of communication is bad if you need help post op . im not a user of whatts app how do you contact is it phone number or email i looked on his sight but no specific whatts app number. Did you condiser dognay ? he was double the price but then there have been some bad reviews , i know all will get the odd one due to the nature of the procedure but it shouldnt be too many , I work in surgery so i know nothing is a done deal sivy
  11. out of interest what makes you choose yaman over demirsoy ? I know yaman is cheaper , is it that or results? regards Sivy
  12. Im also thinking of booking with him , but i must say the email responses are very slow which worries me a bit , my other choice is dr demirsoy who also seems to have good results
  13. thanks chris 39 you are right but one problem with the forums are how can you also be sure the reviews are independant ? there are known pracitces where so called members are paid to promote a surgeon , or leave neg reviews of a competitor so even then you have to be careful what read and believe. The uk seems a rip off price wise but this leaves us open to being led to a foriegn country and then our only way of finding information is relying on posts of others . Im sure forums /surgeons know this and a lot of money is involved. As i said other than flying out for a look its so difficult to make the choice.
  14. thanks for the replies guys < i think the point im trying to get across is even if you get the dr right their is still no gaurantee obviously , i work in the medical profession in surgery so know there can be no gaurantees . It is very difficult to get the data together to see what percentage of patients are very happy with their results given right doctor , right donor site , etc . its so variable it is difficult to filter through all the info from all of the forums , and with that some forums are their to promote surgeons buisness so can be biased. So basically its a big leap of faith even after research. You wont see any surgeon publishing how many non happy customers they have had
  15. Hi with so many mixed results and the mine field of real reviews , not ones which are doctored or used to promote a surgeon , does the fue procedure give good actual results as in density , hairline restoration etc. I am considering it but to get honest real results seems difficult as each surgeon has good and bad reviews and then all the advise seems to state dont put your expectations too high alont with photo results which seem to have been doctored . How do you judge what percent of people who have undergone the procedure are happy with the results ? or is just a blind leap of faith and hope for the best . Ive read lots of forums but still very mixed results . thanks si
