  1. Great list! We are all partial to our Doc's especially if we are happy with them.

That's going to be a tough choice that you will need to narrow down to the one that most fits your criteria for a HT. IE: Hairline, crown work or both, location of clinic, shave or not, Staples or sutures, etc...

Being 3 days out from my second procrdure with Dr. Alexander I highly recommend him as he is a talented surgeon who is extremely ethical. I trust him 100%.

Good luck moving foward & feel free to contact me.

  2. Al, I also went to Dr. Alexander in Phoenix & my opinion may be biased because I am a big fan of Dr. Alexander. That being said, I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Alexander & his staff.

He does's give travel & lodging discounts.

I know there are many good surgeons in the HT network but I can only speak from my experience with Dr. Alaexander & I can highly recommend him.

    Best of luck!

  3. Pedro, Dr. Alexander does do 3,000 per session depending on your characteristics. I am sure you will be overwhelmingly happy with Dr. Alexander compared with your previous Bosley transplants.

He does dense packing, leaves no scar & an undetectable natural hairline.

    Good luck,

  4. Pedro, I live in the Phx. area & I had my surgery done about 3 years ago with Dr. Scott Alexander in Phoenix who is recommended here. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great surgeon right here in Arizona. I am looking foward to going back for my second round with Dr. Aleander this year.

Get yourself an consultation with him, you can't go wrong with Dr. Alexander.

I hope to buy a vacation house in Flag. I love it up there!

  5. While u may not have done any damage to the 10 day old grafts it is still not recommended to let your scalp get burned. The scalp is sensitive to the sun & skin cancer of the scalp is fairly common especially in fair skinned people with thinning hair.

I know it looks good to tan your scalp because it really cuts down the contrast betwwen hair & scalp. But you really should cover up & protect your scalp from the sun in the future.

I think you will be fine otherwise.

    Good luck!

  6. I had friends who intentionally embaraased me about my hairloss in public in front of friends/peers. One of them is no longer a friend & the other will never do that to me again in public!

Of course I was pissed off & once I got him alone I told him that if he ever did that to me again, that I would reach across the table & grab him by his throat! And a few other things I shouted at him.

    Proiblem solved.

Do not come out on face book or anything like that. Do you know how many things are said behind our backs? Not just about hairloss.

So forget about those guys & forget it ever happened.

If you want to remain friends with them then put them in thier place by telling them what bothers you. If not, move on. They are just imature kids.

  7. But in some corner of my mind, I was hoping for a miracle!

LOL Phxind!I know what you mean by "Hoping for a miracle!" I was also hoping for a miracle. My case is very similar to yours. But hey, looking at it now it really is a miracle!

    It is looking good Phxnd.

    Enjoy yourt new look!

  8. Everyone recommends that you should take the drugs, I say stay away from them. Ask yourself this question, Am I prepared to use these drugs everyday for potentially the rest of my life? Thats a hard pill to swallow! Literally!

There are possible really nasty side effects. I experienced some really scary sides on propecis & minnox.

Your not ready for a HT yet IMO.

Stick with what you have for now, it looks fine @ your age.
