Your donor looks great. any idea how thick is your donor hair is?
-
interesting... thanks for the info 1978matt
@whereismyhaircfc, do you have any hairline recession? or is it intact?
Could you please share some pics is possible?
-
Can you post some pictures?
-
I was told I am on norwood level 4 during consultation.
If you look at my pics carefully, you will notice I have a V shaped hairloss just behind my hairline.
I don't think I am on level 7 yet. My hair line is pretty much intact.
@whereismyhaircfc:
what do you refer as "V shaped hairloss just behind my hairline"?
Also do you happen to have a hairline pre-op pic?
-
i thought ludwig scale applies to women and not men!!!
Please help me understand better...

@whereismyhaircfc: I too am confused on your norwood level. You seems to have all lost hair on top except the hairline. You dont seems to have any crown hairloss. Did you ask your doctor about your norwood level?
@ontop: interesting. what makes you think that he may go on to level 7?
-
Tough to make a call as the lighting is different is all the pics.
But i believe 4 months is early to judge.
Can you share your doctor's name?
Also, which norwood level were you pre-op?

Thats a nice framing of his head. Great use of available donor.
I am interested in your theory of two types of indian hair. how do i know which type i fall into?
-
I agree with ontop
Your crown looks good. Do consult with a doc if you feel necessary. But even in that case, i wont recommend a transplant for the crown. It looks great right now
-
Wix,
Are you interested in FUE?
If so, why dont you take a look at Dr.Bhatti?
Another option would be Dr.Arika Bansal from eugenix, india. Check out harin's thread. I am still impressed by it.

Hair analysis:
Does anyone know any doctor in seattle, USA area who does hair analysis similar to Yaz89's post on 04-22-2016?
Thanks in advance...

Hi skyk777,
Good to know that the donor area has no changes to the naked eye.
May i ask what norwood level you were before all the procedures?
Thanks...
-
looking good.
good job in cleaning the scabs off

Hi all,
does anyone know a doctor in/around Seattle who has the equipment to measure the percentage of scalp hair miniaturization over various regions?
Thanks...
-
I am suprised that a doctor refusing to prescribe fin on ethical grounds.
Mind sharing the name?

Hi N00b,
Thanks for your comments. My donor area was perfect and still appears to be now even after 3305 grafts taken out, it still looks perfect, basically untouched, I guess I just got a wee bit lucky there.
My donor area has no miniaturisation and it was described by Dr Bhatti as 'Lush' when I initially sent my photos to him. I will have absolutely no problem going for a follow up procedure in the future should I need one.
On another note I will be posting my 18 month update in the next week or so, watch this space!
Good to know that your donor region shows no signs of a surgery.
Do you happen to know the thinkness of your hair (i.e. hair caliber)?
-
You are right CaliHairGuy!
Norwood 5 to a full head of hair with just 4000 grafts is amazing.
I wonder what norwood level squatch initially was. Is it 5 or 6?
In his pre op pics, I dont see a clear bridge on the top as seen in norwood 5 but i dont see the big crown hair loss seen in norwood 6.
-
No matter how many times i see this thread, i am blown away by the result. Its amazing!!!
I see may other transplants in the 4000 grafts range but no one comes close to this.
Can someone please help me understand what contributed to this dramatic transformation???

i respect that whathaveidone.

I agree with ontop.
If there are no huge changes in the next 6-9 months, this result is sub par for 2900 grafts...
