  1. Thanks HT, that sounds reasonable p/min. Thanks for input r5000. Finisteride, would most likely increase chance of survival of transplanted grafts, but also decrease chance of shock loss. (does shock loss hair come back?) And in long term increase interval of when you require next procedure. So although 12 months post procedure you may look great, depending on how your baldness progressesion, for some perhaps not worth spending cash if not gonna use Finisteride. I know I'm fussy, so if I'm gonna spend that money, hassle of going overseas, putting myself through that hassle for 1st 3 months, I won't procedure to look damn good for a long time. I guess I'm trying make sure my expectations are realistic. Seems like some guys stop medication in preparation of starting a family.
  2. Can moderators comment on this? Although not surprised over quoting happens, still shocked.
  3. Looking good MABS, thanks for sharing. How is it progressing now?
  4. Did your aquantances get less grafts/incisions than agreed upon? This has been raised in the forum, but surgeon not disclosed. What post-op after care should patients be expecting if in another country? Am considerimg Erdogan but price seems comparable to Lorenzo, especially in light of your comments. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Looking good HT. Thanks for sharing. I'm in Sydney and considering Erdogan. Did you take Finisteride before procedure? Do the doctors say it helps recover to start well in advance of procedure? Also you mentioned it took roughly 40 minutes for him to make 3000 incisions, for the 3000 grafts. Is that 75 incisions p/60seconds? Is that accurate? How does Erdogan prove the number of grafts and incisions given post opp? I only ask as this is my main concern and that a partner of a patient counted only half the incisions agreed upon. She is a medical professional. Did not say which surgeon. Not trying to stir the pot, just trying to do my due diligence. Your results so far look great.
  6. Thanks for sharing Raman. I'm from Sydney and considering Erdogan. Is he able to prove the number of grafts implanted and incisions made? There is a post of a sceptical partner of a patient who has counted the incisions and believes it's only half of what was agreed. She is medical professional aswell. Did not mention which surgeon. Did you take Finisteride before HT? What duration consumption before procedure have you heard is optimal?
  7. Hi, I've consulated with prominent Australian and European surgeon. EU quoted I will require around 3000 grafts @ 50p/cm, prefers cash. Accepts electronic payments (but for obvious reasons) price increases materially. AU quoted about 1000 grafts @ 30-40p/cm, but very surprised with European quote, saying I dont need. However vouched for European surgeon. AU has admitted to being more conservative in assessments/quoting grafts, but no means too conservative. As prices In Australia are significantly higher, perhaps a small affordable initial procedure gets clients committed to the path of HTs then more transplants are secured in the future. I too am sceptical of how a surgeon can prove the quantity of grafts provided. Am thinking of travelling to Europe for procedure. Hesitations: > proof or work by surgeon as have been overturned in eyes of AU. > does being a fly in patient give surgeons more confidence in over quoting and underdelivering graft quantity? As little apparent consequences, especially when we all want to believe in full restoration. > shock loss of weak hair in recipient area. > for how long before procedure should one be consuming Finisteride to strengthen hair sufficiently to avoid shock loss?? Hope my input is useful.
