Hi all I’m booked in with Dr Reddy on the 16th next month. Finally took the plunge after years of thinking and planning .. only concern is going back to work as have to wear a hard hat !??? How long after fue is it safe to wear hard hat again ? I did ask dr reddy but amongst all the other questions and getting slightly excited I forgot!

Hi Ukspurs very intrigued to hear about the pricing and results, I’m in a similar place with my thoughts and looking to use Dr Reddy at Selston clinic .. how did you find the experience? Results are looking good.

A loading phase will intially raise dht by a lot more than the standard maintance dose hence me stating it ... i don’t see it as silly if the slight raise in dht helps with estridol and inturn doesn’t affect hair loss ...

Been using finasteride for 6 months now had a few scares with the sides but I feel they was just in my head .. Anyway been thinking of starting creatine again as I like to workout and use weights. From what I’ve read creatine raises dht levels by around 22% after initial higher raises from loading phases which I will skip anyway, creatine doesn’t need to be loaded in this way it’s just as effective at a maintaince dose of 5g per day. Being as creatine raises dht would it affect hair loss or even counteract the raise in estrogen ?

Hi all been on and off here for past few years and had set my mind on Dr Reddy after 6 months on fin I’m am finally ready to take the plunge. However I can’t seem to find much recent work by Reddy and find it slightly strange given his popularity... I guess my question is do any of you know of any recent work ??

Hi all I’ve been planning a ht for few years now and finally decided on getting the ball moving. I’ve started on generic fin nearly two months in now. Had a few moments were I let the scaremonger placebo side effects get the better of me but come to realise it’s all in my head ! So all good now, thanks god thought I was going to have to stop and go bald ! . Hair seems a little thicker already not sure if it is the fin or the regenpure shampoo every other day. Either way hair looks better. Going forward I’m looking to see dr Reddy soon and hopefully get my ht after 6 months on fin... my question is should I start using rogaine foam now or am I better off waiting till after ht as I know you have to stop pre and post op for week or two ??

Yeah I know but his worth the extra cost tablets are all the same ..?

True I just don’t like paying when I think I can get it cheaper lol

Hi guys I’m considering a ht in the near future most likely with Dr Raghu Reddy .. But want to stop my ongoing hair loss now and start on prop right away, but my gp won’t prescribe me any how do I go about getting a regular decent source for 1mg ??

Hi Shacked I’m thinking of using Dr Raghu Reddy also so it’s been good to read your posts. I have more frontal thinning and general thin hair rather than the crown area , do you still feel prop is worth starting ? as I am planning a ht hopefully soonish not sure on Reddys average waiting times etc

Sorry to hear your ht made your situation worst it's something for me to think about defo .. with regards to fut over fue why would that suit my hair better ? Also I style my hair very short sides and back with a small quiff you mention ht don't suit this style ??

Thanks for your help it all helps I feel I would prefer the fue thou as I always have my sides and back of my hair trimmed The pictures give a very harsh representation of my hair as it's blonde and the light is direct .. I don't feel I would need anywhere near 5000 as I have see people a lot less hair needed half this amount .. I guess only a consultation will tell.

Hi Been researching and considering ht for about 2 year snow as mentioned in a post earlier this year I narrowed my surgeons down to 2 and will probably decide to go ahead once my mortgage is in place. Just wanted to see what most of you would suggest as for a plan , Also how many grafts etc you'd predict

Dr Raghu Reddy Dr Bisanga I feel these two are very good but I'm struggling to understand costs Could someone please give me estimate for both surgeons based on 2500 grafts Also your thoughts on either surgeon Many thanks hope to hear from you soon ??

Cheers guys I thought the initial transplant would not need another op after as its done using my thick side or back hair which is 100% never going to bald ... Why would I need a follow up unless it's for the top of my head rather ..?

Hi I am considering a hair transplant for my frontal and temple regions.. But I don't not want to take fin/ prop as I have tried and my body or sex drive doesn't agree lol I'm 30 and have very thick hair in the sides and back which I'm pretty sure will never bald. My question is given I know my sides and back of my hair will be safe is it likely to have a transplant and not take meds to follow up and keep the hair for good ?? Thanks
