Hi had a transplant a while back and have stoppe taking finasteride. I’m using minoxidil foam but not having great results. Are dermarollers any good ?? If so which one is best please ??

Hi , I’ve stopped taking fin for about 6 months now as we have been trying to conceive, but it’s not happened and seems we could be trying for a while. my hair has thinned around transplant and started to notice it. I don’t want to lose to much hair where I won’t be able to get it back !! But obviously don’t want to put any chances or baby at risk. We only really have sex around ovulation times .. can I use and stop about a week before each month ??? also how much hair would I lose in another 6 months etc ??

Is it not possible do crush the pills and mix with a cream/oil that absorbs into skin ?? I stopped taking fin not long ago but would be interested in topical as the side effects would be minimised ?

20 months - this is just woke up hair lol still have a few wavy dry hairs !? Will this change at all ??

Only reason i worry is because I paid out £11k for my transplant (which is on here under Dr reddy 2200 grafts ) and obviously don’t want to lose any hairs from the surgery by coming off finasteride ideally ..??

Underrated ? This forum helped make me my decision. For me he is the best could not recommend him and his team enough. His techs are very helpful, especially Omar, who would get straight back to me with any of my constant questions at the drop of a hat. Yes it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for and for an extra few grand,I know what I’d rather. There are two guys down my gym who have had transplant one in Brentwood (Essex) and the other in turkey and it’s safe to say I’m glad I paid the extra money and did my research. The Turkish one is not natural looking at all, obviously there are some good drs out there but they do tend to favour an aggressive approach, not only in grafts but hairline also. Dr Reddy will put anyone at ease doesn’t use a lot of grafts and gives great natural look no rushing in 5000 grafts! we did about 1000 per day. 👍🏻

A few days off 12 months. Very happy. Hoping for more texture changes though .. transplanted hair is quite wiry, coarse and slightly kinky. Is this quite common at 12 months ?

10 months tomorrow! Not seen much change really but still very happy. Hopefully a little more thickness near temples will come in final months ?? Added pic from daylight which was about a month ago.

Noticed a big difference from month 7.5 to now, just off 9 months. This is styled with putty, absolutely chuffed already !!
