  1. 12500 euros is exactly right, that's the amount I'm paying in 3 weeks for 3000 grafts. Busa am I not right in saying reviews are also posted by patients so we would see bad results on here if there was any from lorenzo. For me I feel conservative hair lines are very sensible especially if you want to use your donor to get good coverage. Also for someone like me who 37 I want a conservative hairline as I'm not 18 no more and want to use my donor for coverage not a low hairline. I suppose it comes down to personal preference. Another reason for choosing lorenzo is he limits his sessions to around 1500 grafts a day and does all the work himself which is the most important thing for me.
  2. Looking good jimbo! After looking at your crown I'm thinking more in the region of 2000 especially the results of fuethatwasclose7 had in his crown and I think his second procedure was in the region of 2000 grafts with a larger area to cover.
  3. When I met him in Manchester he said he had 5001 grafts done in his own clinic in Madrid. Looking at him you could never tell he has had any work done! And yes he did say 5001 wonder if he got the one graft for free lol! Glocktop if you get a chance let me know what you think of the hole Madrid experience as I'm booked in just after you. Good luck mate
  4. I agree with stinger after years of research I think the top 2 fue docs in the world are lorenzo and bisanga. I feel the main reason I ended up choosing lorenzo has to be how they show videos of the result including combing through the hair at the same time it really shows everything. May be more expensive but at least I know dr lorenzo does nearly all the procedure himself apart from loading the grafts. I'm a great believer that you get what you pay for in life.
  5. Amazing nw 6 two fue procedures by lorenzo and the result speaks for itself I don't believe the meds do much to ever re grow hair, but do believe they hold native hair.
  6. Fair play to you. What have friends and family said have people noticed and asked questions what have you said? I think messy by the way!
  7. I'm not so sure about that number 47 I believe that meds only hold your native hair not regrow crowns like that I'm not denying meds help but tremendously as you stated I don't agree with that other wise is have a full crown by just been on the meds and mine not changed a bit after over a year on meds!!!!
  8. Thanks for update. I think the change in the last two months is amazing. For a crown to look this good after only five months is really good and there is still so much time left for it to get even better well happy for you. Hope lorenzo can do this for me as well!
  9. I really hope fuethatwasclose has just been really busy, and not having a bad result with his second fue??? Any news fuethatwasclose please hope it's good news?!?
  10. Hi hairweare, That sounds really promising that he has achieved such a high yield and I hope you can get at least another 1500 to get a great result good luck to you. Cheers pma
  11. Hi hairweare, How are your results coming along from your first procedure with dr lorenzo in March? How was the hole fue thing for you? Cheers pma
  12. Thanks jimbo, really apprieciate the advice and pics. Hi glocktop yes the redness seems to be a worry but at least it will be winter and a woolly hat will look the norm!!! Are you staying in the ibis in Madrid as they recommend it? How many grafts? Have you been to Madrid before? If not where did you consult with dr lorenzo? Sorry for all the questions glocktop. Cheers pma
  13. Thanks jimbo, I'll defiantly keep you updated on all the things you need to know about Madrid feel free to ask anything about Madrid after I have it done. I will start a thread in December. Can I ask jimbo how long do you feel it was before it was not obvious you had the procedure done like the redness ect... I'm going back to work about 5 weeks after will I look back to normal by then in your opinion? Cheers pma
  14. Looking good jimbo, makes me feel a little more relaxed as I'm going to Madrid in December for 3000 grafts with lorenzo hope I get a result like yours. Any advice jimbo regarding the procedure?
  15. Hi moss, Good luck with your procedure. How many grafts? Fut or fue?
  16. Hi garageland, Thanks your advice as always i really apprieciate it especially as you have seen me in person and know my current hair loss. What I meant about the two/three months is how long it may take to conceive. I'm right in saying finasteride is out of your system in about 48 hrs right? I was thinking about trying viviscal or something similar whilst I'm off it do you think that's a good idea? Thanks ko also for your advice I hope by taking a brief time off the meds I don't lose much I suppose I'll have to wait and see. If anyone can advise me of anything else I can do in the build up to my procedure I'd really apprieciate it thanks guys
  17. Hi all, I've got an fue procedure booked for December, I've been on finasteride for 14 months now, the problem is my wife and I have decided to try for another child do you think it will be ok to come off finasteride until she get pregnant 2 or three months time hopfully this will mean been of the meds upto my procedure and maybe just after I have had it done. Please help as I'm not sure what affect this may have.
  18. Looks good! Seems the crown has filled in yet no grafts we're put anywhere near that area how come? As he is not on finasteride! Only on minoxidel if that's done that I want some of what he's on !?!
  19. Ok busa, not gonna disagree or agree with what your saying ATM but can you please show us a link to there result as so far it is all talk! The proof is in the results so show us?!? As ko has already give us a link to dr lorenzos results which look good to me. SHOW US THE RESULTS AND STOP JUST TALKING ABOUT THEM THANKYOU.
  20. Hi fuethatwasclose7, How's things going? Hope the second procedure is starting to take off for you now any updates would be greatly appreciated cheers.
  21. Hi, My understanding of what they mean is that after 2000 grafts whether it the first, second or what ever surgery it is each graft will then only cost 2.5 euros. A good example would be 2000 grafts done first op costs 6 euros first 1000 grafts, 4 euro for the second 1000 so in total 10,000 euros. Then if you had a second procedure from the beginning! Ist graft till the last graft they can take would be 2.5 euro. So if you had another 2000 grafts the second procedure this would only cost 5,000 euros. I hope this makes sense now.
  22. Hi guys, Finally made my mind up and booked 3000 fue grafts with dr lorenzo in December. After a lot of research and meeting up with lots of people I narrowed down my search down to h&w or dr lorenzo and being a Norwood v I feel that I found the two best in my opinion for higher nor woods and fut (h&w) and fue dr lorenzo. I was lucky enough to meet with dr lorenzo in Manchester this summer who advised me that over two procedures he feels he could get a good result for me first one being 3000 grafts and the second being 2000 grafts. Since he returned to Spain I've sent him quite a few emails with a few questions and each time he has responded promptly which has been reassuring. I will off course update this thread once I have had the procedure done as reading others on here has been a massive help to me gaining knowledge to make this decision. Any advice or questions please ask. I feel I've made a good choice in dr lorenzo. Thanks for everyone's help on this site.
  23. Hi guys, I've finally bitten the bullet and booked 3000+ fue grafts in December with dr lorenzo. Just paid my deposit today. After vast amounts of research and meeting quite a few people along the way, and reading lots of reviews on this site I decided dr lorenzo was the best for me. I was inbetween an fut with h&w and fue with dr lorenzo being a Norwood 5 these are two of the best at what they do especially for higher norwoods, must just mention garage land from h&w for all his advice as well and because I wanted fue was the reason I chose dr lorenzo over h&w. Being a Norwood 5 I am fully aware this is going to have to be done over two procedures and luckily I had a meeting with dr lorenzo this summer in Manchester who was very helpful and has advised me a first procedure of 3000 and a second of around 2000 should give me a good result. I have since emailed him lots of questions after he returned to Spain and he has alway replied to me promptly which reassures me. I will off course update this thread once I've had the procedure done, as many other have helped me with there threads on this site. Any question or advice please type away thanks guys.
