Staples normally stay in anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks.  In my case, my Dr was 40 miler away so we simply made a follow up appointment to take them out and measure after-surgery progress. 

If you are a country away, your own general practitioner or family physician can certainly remove staples.

Once the staples are out, the area should be inspected to remove any scabs or left over crusts.

My first procedure used sutures, which my wife removed. 

A railway scar should be of no concern as you hair will grow over it most likely - but keep a T Scale train handy if you ever shave it down so the grandkids can have some fun when you're sleeping face down. 

FUT for sure - Mick Jagger would never opt for a FUE either.

It's not a far trip since he is already in India!

If I were a local, Bhatti would be my choice as he is recommended and well known with many, many positive results. 

And maybe you could get your 2 friends who had HT's in on this too.  You DO want to prove with actual patient testimonials and factual pictures to us just how good the Dr is, right?

Oh yeah...I was 64.  Had my 2nd at 66.  I had a Heart Attack at 65.  Off year, ya know.

There is no excuse needed for wanting to look better at any age.  I feel stronger, sing better, and have great plans for my 70's.  Guys who say they want to look good now and won't care when they hit 50 need to hit 50.  Then we'll talk!

My story was very similar to yours as far as the loss age and pattern.  And I am a Musician and also 68. Going on 18.  I have had two procedure, the first at 64.

Someone asked why you didn't do it earlier - for me it was simple, I got my 1st one at 64 years old in 2014.  If I had it done in my 20's that would have been back in the 70's when they were making incisions with stone tools and 1/4 inch drill bits. That's the Dolls Head years - no thanks.
