  1. well i think this should calm the spirits down

this will be the only pics i will put online , one it's after 6.5 months the other one two weeks ago

What people are asking for is a pic of you pre- op with your face to show it's you, can't really tell with a 6month pic or a post op pic, inbox me a pic if u don't want it online! Btw if this is legit it's one of the best transformations I've seen and u look great! I'll wait until I see an actual pre-op pic before I congratulate you though

  2. That's one excellent list of surgeons you've been given above. I agree with that too. For Dr Lorenzo it's 6 GBP a graft for FUE having looked last night- that's not cheap but he gets a lot of positive comments plus minimal travel costs involved so I'll be tempted in the future. I don't think I can myself over to Turkey for surgery.

Like Dr Feriduni's work too- also in Belgium like Dr Bisanga.

Avoid that other clinic in the UK! You could regret it for years to come!

Forgot about feriduni! Add him to my list!

  3. Hi guys, I've been browsing this forum for months and finally plucked up the courage to join and post. I had a consultation the other day with ukhair transplant clinic (ukhtc.co.uk) as I am getting very close to having a ht on larger than average forehead, I've always had a large forehead but now at the age of 36 I have also receded about an inch so it looks a lot worse,I can hide it quite well as the rest of my hais is thick and my fringe covers it quite well but i would like a lower hairline ASAP as I'm very conscious of my huge forehead. So at my consultation the guy suggested I have 2000 grafts and he drew a line on my head where that would bring my hair down too and I would be very happy with that but my questions is this, A: are ukhtc a good recommended clinic??

    B:is ?5500 a typical price for 2000 fue grafts??.

Thanks for your input guys I just thought ?5500 was a bit steep for 2000 grafts.

I won't be as diplomatic as future! One word... Don't!!! I wouldn't go 2 a clinic like that in a Million years! If you do chances are you'll end up a repair patient! I'm from the uk and there is literally 1 doc I'd see in the uk... Dr Lorenzo currently with farjo. Other than that u need to travel... Top 3 for me in no order

Dr Hasson - Vancouver (strip- doesn't do FUE)

Dr Rahal - Ottowa (strip- does FUE but better at strip IMO)

Dr Konior - Chicago (again better at strip IMO)

As for FUE, maybe 3 I'd trust

Dr Lorenzo - Manchester/Madrid (best FUE IMO)

    Dr bisanga - Brussels

    Dr Koray Erdogan - Turkey

    Hope this helps

  4. Indeed it is a Big compliment for the doctor.

I must say i do feel he is very competent. The question is if he now have to much work to do and Then leave to much work for the techs?

I Think that in This Industry, you must be dedicated at your work. I mean its not like selling hotdogs in the yankiee stadium.

The problem is when you are to busy, its impossible to maintain that dedication and you just need to do whatever you have to get the job complete, wich may include involving techs to implant and stuff like that.

Is that the problem here ? We dont know. But at least we have not yet seen Any total failure from dr. Hakan yet. That is offcourse a good thing.

just FYI bro, implantation is routinely done by techs even at the best clinics in the world! I've been to dr hasson multiple times and he did none of the implanting! i think the most important thing is the extractions with FUE! i wouldn't trust any1 but the doctor to do the punching and extracting!

  5. Yep i sure will.

There is a much easier Way of to proofe if its Real.

The administrator could just check the ip log files from the poster and the clinic, Right?

I mean if there is doubt about This it is the best Way to find out ?

yeah i suppose, do we even know where the guy is from? hoping its legit actually otherwise its pretty bad, u would think they would retract his invite of this site if its not real and it would look bad for the industry as a whole! if it is legit the thats a big compliment for Hakan that he's produced a literally unbelievable result!

  6. Agreed. Unfortunately, my timing was off. Wish I saw him before the influx. Seems like a good guy and so does Dr.A . I initially wasn't even going to tell my story because they are nice but I don't want others going through the same experience as me. Maybe the doctor will start placing limits on # of surgeries a day now.

How many were they doing a day? Top clinics tend to do 1-2 cases per day

  7. I have a before and after pic on Johnny2000 thread since he was asking for one. I can post my left side also to show how asymmetrical the hairline is. Hakan has recent forum fame so if you had your HT 6months - 1 year ago, I am sure it was a different experience than mine.

Quality control is all about consistency though mate not taking advantage of an influx of patients and dropping usual standards to make some quick cash! I really hope this isn't what's going on! Guess we'll see with the results 9-12 months from now!

  8. the real problem it''s the trust or the lake of it

just that i don't have the account for some time doesn't mean i did not made the surgery

i evan offered to show my face before and after the surgery

It's not just your result, I've noticed a few negative comments and reports from recent patients! I wouldn't mind seeing pre and post op with the face... You should just post it as your face is shown on your profile pic there's no reason not to. The negitive comments are patients whose transplants haven't grown in yet so it may all turn out fine, I just think with the negativity lately the clinic need to comment or manage their patients better post op

  9. I dont understand the negativity around hakan??

I can't comment as I've never seen the doctor or looked into the clinic, it's just something I've noticed the last couple of weeks, and now this result where the general condition of the hair pre and post op are worlds apart, and it seems like a hell of a change for a small amout of grafts! If it's legit (which I'm sure it must me) then there must either be 1 hell of a response to mess or concealer... Maybe unknown to the doc

  10. seems to be a lot of negativity towards Dr Doganay on this forum lately from recent patients and accusations of fake accounts and trickery in results... really don't know what to think, I'd like to hear the doctor/clinic addressing these rumours and also see some 1 year results from people who've seen him recently and have authentic accounts... not saying the patient isn't authentic but i'd like to see results from patients with long standing accounts on here!

  11. The grafts just look to contain one hair too but my break down was aprox s: 500 d: 900 t: 350.

I think it was othersyde who posted that you don't really see the multiple grafts post op until months later when they reshow. He had a great result. So Is this true? I mean has anyone else experienced that.

I doubt he would've put multiple in the front hairline as this gives a pluggy unnatural look, it's usually singles only in the hairline and he probably used the multiples in the back part where it meets your old hairline, but yeah if he did 55per cm then no reason why you shouldn't get a good result, usually when they quote 2000 to move a hairline 1cm they use singles so possibly he used singles in the very front and the multiples behind which might explain the lower graft count because the multiples will contain 2-4 hairs, looking at the numbers u actually got 3350 hairs which isn't far off the recommended 2000 per cm if only singles are used (as is the case in the hairline usually)

  12. 50-55cm is generally what's recommended to give the illusion of full density in the hairline so if yours is 55cm the result should look pretty good when grown in, might be worth contacting the surgeon as he'd have the best idea of density per square cm since he performed the surgery! It should be in his notes. The other way is to measure the recipient area to give the size in square cm and then dividing the amout of grafts by the size in square cm

  13. I know mate I'm sincerely trying trust me. Its about as low as ive felt in my life.

I tell you what though quesionmark's link above has given me some hope. He had a very simlar one done but wit 2400 grafts (which is 700 more than me which is so weird considering the doc said no to be getting anymorehowever he does look like he ha slightly bigger area done...or maybe that's wishful thinking). Anyway he seemed to has hadgreat results so hoping, wish he had posted pics at 2 weeks!

I saw that link, it does look like a larger area than yours in all honesty, that's what I said before about hair characteristics though, some people have larger calibre hair than others and can get away with less grafts, you won't know until it's grown in, but I have a feeling it's gonna be nowhere near as bad as your imagining!

  14. I've ordered the medium brown toppik as you suggested and will give that a go. Cheers. As much as I dont want to walk around like this I really dont want to make the result worse so will leave the other stuff out. The doc did say I could trim/buzz the hair but not shave it at and that was at the 14 day mark.

Well the inevitable is approaching me right now and will meet up with my girlfriend and see what she says to this. I havent told her, just that I had some kind of problem and shaved my head and that I'm seriously losing my hair. So I'll see what happens. This is the probably the thing I'm fearing the most along with work.

I'm also on dusteride and have been for like 2 years. The doc gave me a prescrition for that over here so covered. He also gave me the fin as well so have been taking that along with it not that it will make any difference with the dut. And he recommended 2% min for two weeks then switch back to the 5% foam. Again I'm not sure they really do anything for me but better safe then sorry so not going to stop.

    Again can't thank you enough.

Really fue2014? I don't think so. I looked for decent comparative photos pre op but couldnt find them so I'll post one normal one that's recent so you get the idea when I'm home. Hard to look at them now as I'm just like I want to go back when before I was so excited. I think hrsp was so right, (His hair looks bloody amazing i might add) why go low and not dense pack. I blame myself but was so trusting the expert..I don't think he should never have let it go so low and as I said several times I want it as thick as possible so how do you tell me it wont be noticable at all then when I see this tell me oh it will be when short. The hair near my temples gives me distress and that still looks much thicker then what this is.

I am going to try to get through it and as suggested ergodan looks like I might be going there next year. Does he do extraction/repair as well do you know if needed to bring it up?

Not sure mate, don't see why not, but in all honesty I'd probably stick with the hairline and beef it out (if it's needed) ergodan is probably the cheapest (quality) FUE surgeon bisanga and Lorenzo are also very good but do charge much higher rates! Hopefully though mate when it grows in it'll look fine, only time will tell! If a second op is needed though the post op will be less noticeably different because you'll already have hair in the hairline before you start so it'll be much easier to camouflage! You obviously weren't happy before the op, u did this for a reason so even if a second pass is needed look at it this way... Your on a journey to the hair u want... You will get there, if not in one pass then without question after a second pass! You've not got horrible scars or not enough donor to cover your scalp, if desired density isn't achieved, it's very fixable! Probably 90% of this form would give their right arm to be in the position you're in with your hair!

  15. Make up in the recipient area is generally not recommended as it may affect the final outcome, topik is fine, but it all depends on what your doc advised I suppose, same with shaving recipient area, it's generally not recommended but ask your doc! If you aren't worried at this point about the final result and your main concern is about hiding what you've had done completely then I suppose a clean shave and make up is the only option! You've gotta weigh up though whether saving some potential embarrassment (I say potential because people probably won't notice or care) is worth risking potentially affecting the final result! As far as the crown goes... Medication such as propecia should stop that and maybe improve it, and if it's only noticeable when your head is shaved then there's really no problem if u don't intend to shave it in future! Get some perspective mate, your not dying! Your healthy, u just have some redness of the scalp which will pass with time! Like I said very worst case scenario in a year u have a small op to add density... And with a bit of luck u may not even need that!

  16. Seriously look at this. ...how is this ever going to look normal let alone decent. Ive been real consious of my hairloss even though it waw just the hairline and even then not real noticeable just looked high and thin at the temples a little. I will attempt to find a decent pre op photo but none will be shaved. So now looking at this god. Not only is the transplant area just ridiculous but native hair all over seems so much thinner. I mentioned to my girlfriend a few days ago to be prepared when I get back as I shaved my head and im losing my hair amd she said don't be stupid there's no way you are its so thick. Now today I go back to her like this. I haven't slept ive just thrown up thinking about it I don't know if I even want to go on. Im so sorry saying this and I never thought id be that guy but its true. I feel my life is ruined. Gf and friends and work are all going to know and god my family. Best case I try to buzz it all right down to pretty much stubble/nothing ane wait a year then go to another surgeon who I can afford which is like not much and have this reversed and either the hair that doesn't return filled I or learn to look like this. I know some guys can look good but I look so ridiculous hence why I was worried. I looked ok before. My gf is stunning and my life was good. I can't see me making it through all this.

I very much doubt u have shock loss in the crown mate, hair tends to always look thinner when buzzed, I do think with a low hairline that if your not on something like propecia then u need to get on it. As for the girlfriend I'd just tell her, it won't be as bad as u think! I hid my first op under a hat, I told her for the second and she didn't care! Had a new gf for the third op, told her and she was also fine about it. U see some on here that are NW 6-7 have had a strip done so they can't shave it down and have zero growth! Look how much better off ur than those! If it doesn't work out this time then 1 more straight forward op for 3500 dollars will give u a fantastic head of hair! That's worst case scenario!
