I living in Australia and am considering a HT. I'm reasonably certain i'd like to have it done by FUE.

 

I understand Australia doesnt have HT surgeons who produce the same quality as some of the most renowned surgeons from around the world.

 

I'm willing to travel.

 

I was wondering for FUE who would be THE transplant surgeon you'd recommend?

 

Cost is not a concern.

 

I appreciate all of your advice/opinions.

I've been researching FUE surgeons for a couple of years now, and I have decided to go to Dr Erdogan in Turkey, he is up there with Lorenzo in my opinion - he seems to get the best natural look especially in the frontal hairline. According to his previous patients he has a new top quality surgery with great staff. Im heading over there in September. BTW im Aussie as well ... Newcastle.

Thanks Yaz for all your documentation. I am booking in for a consultation with Dr Koray at the end of this month as I wanted to meet him in person and see his place of work before I go ahead with the surgery. Ive been following your progress for almost a year now and your result is the reason I have chosen him.

Is it possible for you to spike your hair up with a strong gel or wax or is the hair growth / angle too strong to do so? Cheers.

Hi im from Australia and im about to book in with Dr Koray Erdogan to get my frontal hairline and temples down about 1cm. Chose him based on looking at many great results from him doing the frontal hairline. Plus his clinic looks top class.

Hey Calvin Ive contacted both back on the 12th. Erdogans consultant got back to me on the 17th with a questionaire to fill out. Ive only just sent it back in today so it shouldn't be too long before you hear from them. hope this helps.

Supasquad I too am from Australia considering having my first HT. Thank you for your posts as you have expressed some of my concerns as well.

Dr Doganay posted a link to member from Australia whom had HT with him 'mickeydw' if my memory serves me correctly. I tried to meet up with Mickey in person but due to his privacy concerns he understandably declined.

I'm still trying to figure out how I can see first hand the work of these HT surgeons without having to travel halfway around the world just to make a decision. Good luck with that I guess!

I've haven't considered Dr Maral's work yet, will have to check it out. How much does he charge per graft?

From my experience on this website and looking at results Hakan Doganay seems to have great results and Koray Erdogan seems to be up there among the best. Both look like top surgeons. hope that helps.

I'm going to book in soon with either Hakan or Erdogan so hopefully I will get to see a HT in person when I go over, maybe someone at their 6 month mark.

It looks like Hakan has done an excellent job the growth looks great. I'm about to book in with either Hakan or Erdogan but having trouble deciding. Would it be possible to meet up in person so I could see his work first hand ? I've seen to many old school HTs ( being a barber an all) and they don't look good. Any help would be great. ( will travel 2 hours if need be

Great result Mickey! Do you live anywhere near Newcastle? If you do I have a barbershop there. Come in and I will give you a free haircut and I can see Doganay's work first hand as I'm really considering going over soon.

Dr Erdogan has done a great job on your hair Yas. Pleased its worked out well for you. Dr Erdogan does really well with the frontal hairline, so I'm seriously thinking of going to him. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Hey Mickey thanks for posting results look great. I'm from Australia too and am planing going to turkey for FUE soon was considering Koray Erdogan as surgeon but will now look at your surgeon as he has done a fine job.

Thanks Yaz, yeah all of the results I've seen from Koray and his team look really natural I was hoping he would continue updating vids on his YouTube channel though, as he has stopped updating them since 2012.
