  1. It’s been 5 years since I had my surgery by this insane magician from Chicago. Extremely happy with my results although there was a brief period where I started losing more hair on my head. (Progressive hairloss). I’m definitely going to go for a 1200 fue to further strengthen my hairline and my crown. I felt I was losing ground in my hairloss but then incorporated micro needling+ minoxidil and that seems to have thickened my existing hairs. Whatever it is, it seems like this micro needling stuff works and I’m going to get a haircap to try my best to keep what I have left. Here’s my pics.
  2. Yea thanks. I have some scalp laxity recovered. But still feels a bit tighter after 2 years. I think I will go with fue this time. Thanks.
  3. Yea I think I might. But I wanted to fut it out before going fue. Just wanted to know if scalp laxity is always recovered following a FUT or does it get tighter after each transplant ?
  4. Hey Spex, I’m using finasteride and rogaine for past 6 years.
  5. Hey guys, I’m contemplating a 3rd hair transplant. I’ve had amazing results with dr konior. But I think over the last couple years, I’ve progressively thinned in my head and in crown that it’s bothering me. Upon consulting, I was recommended 2000 grafts, 1000 for crown and 1000 for the front third to thicken it up. Sounds good to me. But I’m worried. After my 2nd HT, my scalp became noticeably tighter. It was insane. Over the last few months, (2 years later) I finally felt some laxity returning back. This never happened from my first procedure. I’m worried if having a 3rd FUT will make my scalp too tight. My main question is does scalp laxity restore after an FUT? Thanks

  7. Hey guys here's my one year update. I'm very happy with the results, but I think I might have lost some hair in my crown where it's noticeably bald and it's bothering me. What are my options at this point? I'm on fin + minoxidil + few vitamins. Should I opt for laser comb or prp+a cell or surgery (fue this time as I felt fut kinda hurt my head). I've done 4000 fut so far. First procedure was in ny 5 years ago and 2nd procedure in Chicago last year with dr. k. If I go for fue, would I have any left for future hair loss?
  8. Hey guys. This is month 9. Here's the latest pic. I'm very happy with my result although I have a bit of a greed setting in to get one more procedure for touch up. I might not need it.
  9. Hello, although this is month 9, I took this pic about 2 months back
  10. I'm seeing lots of fine and whispy hairs atm
  11. Hey guys attached is my pic currently 5.5 months. I'm very pleased with my results. For the first time in 10 years I am able to comb my hair backwards and feeling good about it. Before when I did that u could still see I was bald behind the temples and forelock. According to doctor konior, I have plenty more to expect. It's funny how some ppl' hair matures like crazy on month 3. I saw significant changes around month 4. Again I'm hoping got at least 20% more thickness and I will be escatic. But I can say that today, I'm definitely not concious about my hair like I used to be before the 2nd hair transplant. My only regret is not choosing this doctor for both of my procedures.
  12. Hello guys. I'm 2 months in. What do you think? I hope to get more growth in the coming months
  13. wow, he went from looking like someones uncle to a male super model. this is crazy transformation
  14. I'm. 32 years old. My temples definitely had less yield. But the entire forelock, although it looked dense, I actually lacked a lot of hair there. Hence dr. Konior did the entire for 2000 grafts. This is my 2nd procedure. My first was 2000 done in New York.
  15. Picture was taken immediately after surgery. Attached are the pre-op pictures
  16. Just had a ht with dr. Konior. Attached, you will find my picture the day of the surgery. I was extremely dehydrated the day of the surgery. so i decided to go to a local pharmacy to get something to drink. I wore a hoodie but i ended up damaging my grafts i think. It sucks. But luckily i called in to the doctor and told him and the office examined my head the next day and determined everything was good. Attached are pictures from the day of the surgery, to all the way today. I will keep updating on a monthly basis. Ciao
  17. It's still 5 months but hopefully it thinkens up remarkably. But looking at this pic and what you posted at pre-op, in not too happy with the results considering large amount of grafts were used. But like I said, it's still early. Hopefully thinks change in the 8-9 month mark
  18. Nah it's fine. I'm moving on. I already paid konior 1000 for a deposit. I'm just moving on with my life.
  19. My hair looks like that combed from the front. I mean, i have thick, wavy/curly hair incidentally. So I am able to comb over to cover the spot. But the point is, I went to Doctor dorin 2-3 times in the past 2 years and each time he has given me an estimate of 1000 and at no point did he address that I had a very poor yield up there. I did bring it up to him in the past, but I was told I never had hair there and now I do. So I kept quiet, using that logic. It might as well be, that my grafts were placed too far apart. If you come very close, my hairline has the appearance of a doll effect. I like Rahal's work. But leaving America to go to Canada is hard for me. I'm sure konior is good. I really liked the results I saw from his clinic. He also is more flexible to meet your needs as I said I want to have a "dense" pack look. I don't think I have significant hair loss where that expectation is unrealistic. If it is, then I shall lower it. But let's be real. Look at eye test. My hair doesn't look visually appealing after a hair cut or when a light Zephyr occurs.
  20. right. I chose Dr Dorin as i lived in new york and it was only due to convenience. Also, i didn't do my research enough. I read around here that True and Dorin are one of the best in the world, hence i went there. They are not the best in the world. I mean, in all honesty, what body recognizes them internationally? It makes no sense. Its not about whether a result is good or bad. I mean, if its bad. then own up to it. Don't tell me, its good and make me believe its good. And that all i needed was another additional 1000 to meet my objectives and I will be a happy camper. I mean seriously? I combed my hair in different ways over the past 3 years just to cover this huge area where you could even land a plane in it. I just grew to accept that this was the best a 2000 graft could giveme and that I would need another 1000 just to get a decent look and i am done. But, seeing so many other patient results online, i was like 'wth? How come mine doesn't look anything close to these guys?" I mean you have seen my results now. If this was your result, after a 2000 graft ht, would you be happy?
  21. Hello, I have decided to go for a second surgery with Dr. Konior. Now, you see. According to Dr. Konior's office, my yield from the first surgery was not acceptable. It was very weak. Tom said he wanted to know what the t hinking procedure is behind a surgeon who would said that all my grafts grew. Now, according to Dr Konior, I would need an additioinal 2000-2500 to fill in these areas. This really pisses me off because the purpose of the first procedure was to reestabish my hairline. Unfortunately, I have to restablish my hairline again as it was done improperly. Now, why is it that dr Dorin led me to believe these results are completely natural and all i needed was another 1000? Dr. Konior said i needed 2000-2500. I was so emotionally upset to be led to believe that my results were very natural. Ugh. I mean, who is considered a top surgeon here? god, i can't believe i was no naive to think my results were 100% natural and that this was the best i could get from a 2000 grafts and that all i needed was another 1000 more. I have talked with 3 other patients and even they had similar results with Dr. Dorin.
  22. Yes I believe I have had the same hair the past 3 years. Maybe a little progressive hair loss , which according to the medications, it's to be expected since it's supposed to halt/slow down hair loss. I am not in any position to ask a doctor to come in this forum to make a comment. I was just reading what he had written that generally for people taking propecia for prostrate enlargement, they needed it castrated due to reflex hyperandrogeneticity. However, castrating it also made the medication lose its effectiveness. I'm worried if I will have some health issues going forward such as prostrate problems or cancer. Hence I asked these questions. I'm 31 years old. I'm planning on having another elective procedure soon. I just haven't decided on a doctor just yet. I'm leaning towards dr. Raymond konior just from the results I have seen from this doctor.
  23. Hello. Thanks for your courteous reply. Yes, I get a pimple like once every two weeks. It goes away after I take tea tree oil or use the cvs benziil acne remover. I forgot what the cvs cream is called but it has 10% of some medication that keeps my forehead dry. It's a bit oily. Nothing too significant. Hence I was thinking should I reduce the dosage? To perhaps 0.5 everyday? I tried 0.5 today. I don't mind losing a bit of hair just to keep the skin clear etc. I'm worried about what dr. Peter proctor has said. Something about if I keep taking propecia I would need my balls castrated or something. Hence I asked if he was a legit doctor. I have never seen a doctor give so much free advise over the net, Which gives me doubts
  24. Hello all, I have been wanting to ask a question. I am on propecia the past 3 years. Recently, I have noticed the occasional pimple or two in my face when taking the drug. I'm not sure what's going on. My sex drive is also pretty strong. The drive has been there for the past 3 years. Now, for the first year on propecia, I was shedding like crazy. But the shed stopped and I regrew what I lost. However, I didn't grow any new hairs. It's just the hairs I lost came back thicker. I'm also taking rogain which seems to have a synergetic effect on my hair. Now the question is, I have been googling and it seems I might have the classic symptoms of reflex hyperandrogeneticity? I do have the oily face. But like I said if I got a pimple or two, it's generally over couple weeks and it goes away. Should this mean that I should quit the drug altogether? I asked dr. Dorin about it, he didn't seem to think it was a problem. But I'm worried if this increase in androgen is permanent even if I do quit the drug? I don't know whom to ask for help and it seems the primary source of all this is dr. Peter proctor (is he legit?). I have never seen other ht surgeons comment about this. Can some one please shed some light on this issue? As I'm worried about my health. Thanks Kujii
  25. I'm not sure yet. I want to first consult with other doctors to make sure this is the final procedure I have at least for the next 4-6 years. I felt that although my hair grew from my first procedure, the grafts were still placed too far apart.
